EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Shout out to "Esmeralda" for going above and beyond and allowing me to pick up my pizza, just as they were about to close. She was friendly and so patient. By accident, I went to the Pinole Round Table to pick up a pizza that was actually ordered at the San Pablo location. It was 9:50pm when I got to Pinole. They had already locked the doors and just waved me off. I made a bunch of noise and they finally came close enough to hear me (with major attitude, like I was annoying them). After realizing that my pizza was actually at San Pablo location,I hauled butt over there. It was probably 9:59pm but Esmeralda greeted me with a smile, had my pizza ready and even though she had just logged out of the register, she didn't act annoyed at all to reopen it for me to pay. I'm a fan of Round Table Pizza, as I'm an East Bay girlie who grew up on these (WTG Pinole for being the highest selling RTP in 1998!). This Round Table has the right sauce and pizza, but the toppings or how they put together the pizza leaves me going to other restaurants in the chain. + PROS + + Always running a coupon, and they added a coupon on the box of my latest order + Usually fast turnaround from ordering (15-25 minutes, haven't had to wait longer + The staff is pleasant and kind - CONS - - Seems to put less toppings (cheese, veggies, meat) on the pizza than the rest of the chains - Unsure the mushrooms are from the parent company as they seem to wither and not taste like some of the other locations - Seems hard to get in and out of since the parking lot doesn't have a protected light in and out, but there are lights right nearby causing constant traffic Would suggest going to a different location to get the classic Round Table experience. read more

So this location needs a lot of help. The place itself is old,floor is cracked at the doorway entrance. The workers are not very friendly.no one wears hair nets,and I watched an employee make a pizza and no measuring of cheese and no gloves.the TVs were not running, the salad bar closed down,the draft beers, seems that the kegs needed to be fixed?? I am an avid King Arthur's lover, but the dine out experience i had at this Roundtable location is giving me serious doubt about ever coming back AND telling a few folks from my softball league folks to avoid at all cost. My server, M, was rude, ignorant, and totally oblivious to her customers wants and needs. First without any prior knowledge she assumed me and my fiance would be sharing the same bowl from the salad bar. She made this assumption very loudly, loud enough to make others intrigued in our conversation. NEXT she refused to accommodate requests and ignored me when I asked for another 1oz cup of salad dressing. We asked for fresh vegetables she did not accommodate. She even managed to lose our order. As far as the facility the soda machine would not stop dispensing soda for 10 min straight. Didn't matter anyway, there was no ice to add. Worst experience ordering pizza over the phone! I called and placed an order today and a guy answered and took our order at 4:23pm. I waited over an hour and called back. A woman answered the phone, asked for my name and supposedly checked on my order and said that all the drivers were out and that it would be another 20min. I called back a little over 20min after that only for them to tell me that they couldn't find out order at all. I asked to speak to the manager and it sounded like the same guy who put me on hold. He acted like I never called at all, I am including photos for proof of all my calls to that number. I love around Table Pizza . But this particular one has terrible customer service. I went online and ordered 2 Large pizzas. The order confirmed that our order would arrive 30 mins from ordering. It never and no one ever called. I waited outside in the cold until midnight. I tried calling in to see what was going on and they were closed. I checked my call log and no calls came in. I called the next day and asked to talk to the manager, I explained that my pizza never came and she said that she was notified about the order and it was cancelled. I checked my bank and there was no refund issued . She also said that they called me and was very argumentative with me and very rude over the phone. This round tables restaurant has been here as long as I can remember. I've been driving by for at least the last 17 years. I finally went in today for a light affordable lunch by myself. Parking was available and the restaurant was empty. It's a Sunday morning around 1130pm so I wouldn't expect a crowd of people. The cashier was very kind as he took my order and explained the lunch menu to me. I was able to get a medium drink, a personal two topping pizza and a Cesar or harder salad. She looked at me like i was crazy as she was taking out her airpod, as if i disturbed her. Strange, when she first started there she was very cheery. Made a big mistake. Ordered using their app on line. It didn't select the closest location. They called me back to confirm my order. No problem I get that. I went to the Albany San Pablo first, wrong store. No on line orders. One more location up San Pablo they say. If I hadn't paid for this sucka on line I'd have given up! But I get in my car to head to Hilltop But in a flicker of genius, I decide to call back the number that called me to confirm order. Same jabroni answers the phone. I ask him for land marks. He starts rattling off places I see from my window as I drive. What!!! this is your location. Why don't you have my pie? "Sorry sir we just don't. " "Then how am I calling you on the number you called me to confirm my order." He covered the mouth piece of the phone and I hear muffled talking. I purchase pizza's from this location on a regular basis. This evening, I ordered a pizza utilizing one of the deals on website. When I went to pick up the pizza, I was told that they don't honor website coupons. I was told that they were independent and don't participate and was offered $5 off, I was still going to purchase the pizza but wanted to speak to a manager. When the manager came, I advised that the fact that this location doesn't honor online coupons that show up on their website should be noted on their website. I told her that the coupon was for $18.99 for a large 1 topping and I was offered $5 off which she responded with the cashier offered too much shed only give $4 and asked what I wanted to do. Where to begin? Delivery was over 15 minutes late. I was given the wrong pizza and had to chase the delivery boy down. I don't think that pizza should have been taken back and delivered after leaving his hands (I sure would not want it). Anyway, when I got my pizza I am pretty sure it was still wrong because I swear I paid for a large and the box had a big M which I assume was for medium. Unfortunately I never got an email receipt despite ordering online and I also didn't get a paper receipt to make a proper complaint.
