    Just about everything pizza

I came here today because MOD was offering double points day. I come here every few months since I like to see my pizza being made in front of me. The service is quick and friendly and your pizza is ready within minutes.

Took my younger siblings here last week for a quick lunch. They wanted pizza and I never took them to MOD before, so, we stopped by. They liked the fact that they were able to see the toppings and choose what they wanted on their pizzas. Service: Fast service and staff were helpful. Ambiance: Clean environment, wasn't busy when we went. They can't wait for me to take them back.

Fast fresh pizza The parking lot can get really busy after school but at least they have a parking lot haha The servers are always really nice and food is good (just like any other MOD pizza). Only little complaint I have is that it's always freezing cold inside the store but it's not a huge deal.

restroom code as of 11/15/2023 003911 If you're reading this it means you're valid enough to have this code and look at it as a bonus perk. Because not everyone would think to look on Yelp for the code.

For a quick pizza craving, go to MOD (Made On Demand)! Location is in the Pinole Valley plaza and is in its own lane amidst the variety of food options there - burgers, pho, sushi. Pizzas and salads are customizable with fresh toppings - as much as you want. Place is spacious, clean, and the staff was awesome, shout-out to the guy who helped me work out my Apple Pay! I ordered a mini Caesar, the MOD sized Tristan, which had mozzarella, Asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and a pesto drizzle. I added pepperoni, sausage. FYI- you can add anything to your salad and pizza for the same price. I saw them pop the pizza in the 800 degrees F gas-fired oven and it came out really fast (3 min!) and it was really tasty, especially with all the yummy toppings- I also got a side of ranch for dipping. Not the best crust in the world, but I like the customization possibilities. They also have plant-based and gluten-free crust and toppings. I also read their "about us" page and MOD strives to provide equal opportunity for employment to all and is involved with a ton of community service. Happy to give them my business!

"Simple menu. Endless options." That's their slogan and I got a CRUST on it. Similar to Blaze and Pielogy, this create-your-own-pizza fast food pizza joint started in Seattle, Washington in 2008. They're one of the fastest growing chain stores ever since and they've opened numerous locations all over the country. This ain't "gourmet pizza" but you can certainly make it gourmet based on the toppings and ingredients you choose. There's 7 types of sauces, 7 cheeses, 26 veggies and good stuff, 10 meats (including a plant-based one), 4 crusts and 8 glazes. It doesn't matter if you have 2 ingredients or 20 ingredients, the price is still the same. They have 10 pizzas that are named on the menu, but I haven't seen a customer ordering those creations. And if you want to eat healthy, they also have a salad options for you. The menu even shows you the amount of calories on the items that you're ordering. You start with a crust of your choice, then a sauce or two, then a cheese or two or three, then the rest of the fresh ingredients available at the assembly line. One thing I love on my pizza is a whole clove of garlic, and they certainly garlic in bunches. After that, you can add whatever else your heart desires. One of my mottos is "Less is more," but I can't apply it to a place like this. I try not to overload my toppings, but I lack discipline and can't help myself. Everything looks so good, but for the price point of less than $10 for an 11" pizza, you can always order another one...which we always tend to do. Especially during the pandemic, you can definitely stretch your dollar over here and have plenty of leftovers for the next day or next meal. I can't hate, I gotta appreciate. I also learned about the company's practice of hiring people with criminal backgrounds. I think this is a great opportunity for a lot of people that deserves a second chance to provide them a path to contribute back to society in a positive way. Often times these people never get that chance since a lot of companies won't hire them and they fall back to their criminal activities into a never-ending cycle of negativity. Kudos to the owners and the proof is in the dough.

I typically order the cauliflower crust pizza. I noticed I kept having to ask the guy to change to fresher looking toppings. Their toppings looked a little to mixed up for me. When the pizza came out of the oven I asked the guy to put LIGHT Sriracha sauce on the pizza. He dumped it on. I told him that I asked for it to go on LIGHT. He gave me a look of disgust. That bothered me. I also asked for a little pesto sauce. Again, I asked for a LIGHT amount. He huffed. At that point I just wanted to get my pizza and go. When I got home and started eating the pizza I noticed it didn't taste that good. I threw it away. I hope the toppings weren't old. I usually like MOD Pizza, but it didn't work for me on this day :(

Service was terrible. We couldn't get a pizza. No one wanted to help. they were standing around doing nothing and talking to each other two guys said they would help but this girl with a ponytail in her hair, didn't want anybody to help us so therefore, we walked out and didn't receive a pizza that's money that we could save from your company since you hire the horrible staff I won't be returning. I guess The different nationality girl didn't like Black people. Because she was being real rude to the African-American young man that was doing his job..

You can make your own pizza asking for anything in front of you to add to your pie. Fast and courteous. Very good.

Benchmark continues to be one of my favorite spots when a serious pizza craving hits. Last night, I…read morestopped in specifically hoping to try the eggplant pizza, but unfortunately they were sold out. Since the only other pie I'd previously had there was the brown butter sage -- delicious, though I've learned lemon on pizza simply isn't my thing -- I decided to go with their classic Benchmark margherita instead. It absolutely delivered. This is Neo-Neapolitan pizza done right: bright, fresh tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, torn basil, and a beautifully balanced crust with a perfectly thin base, nicely charred underside, and those airy, leopard-spotted edges that make wood-fired pizza so satisfying. Simple, restrained, and incredibly well executed. It was an unusually warm evening, so I opted to sit outside. My only real complaint is that the tables closest to the street sit noticeably on a slant, making it a bit of a challenge to keep plates and glasses from slowly sliding downhill throughout the meal. A small detail, but worth noting. That said, the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the overall experience was exactly what I was hoping for. One final recommendation: do yourself a favor and ask for a side of olive oil for dipping the crusts. It's the perfect finishing touch. I'll absolutely be back the next time the craving strikes.

Benchmark's menu may not be extensive, but everything I've had there is good. The pizza crust is…read morethe right mix of chewy and crispy: the best I've had lately in the Bay area. Fried sage pizza with a chopped salad is a family favorite. Add a choc chip sea salted cookie for dessert. The dine-in experience is great: outdoor seating with a nice view that goes great with a beer or cocktail on a sunny afternoon. The waitstaff are friendly and skilled. The takeout experience is mostly good, but a few things could be better. I'd like the option to remove onions from my takeout pizza. And: Lately the chopped salad has been presented in a plastic takeout box with the ingredients separated into other plastic containers. This leaves the customer to basically create the salad from the ingredients, then deal with a bunch of plastic waste. Better to go back to the old method: compostable box with the ingredients tossed by Benchmark, giving the customer the option to have Benchmark toss the dressing or do it themselves. When I order an expensive salad, I expect a salad, not a collection of separate ingredients for me to mix myself. And the plastic detracts from the experience and adds waste to the environment.
