This company increased my rates in 2012 by 40%. They also charged finance charges on invoices that were never received. When I disputed the 40% increase they said the fees were "valid". We have also received deliveries of coffee which we have never ordered. Unfortunately their customer service is horrible and we have cancelled with immediate effect. I have been getting water delivered from Mountain Mist for about a year, and I think they're great. Previous to having them deliver I was filling my own 5 gallon bottles at a different water filtration store, which was a real pain in the rear and we were always running out of drinking water because I hated to go fill the bottles. It feels so luxurious to have good water (I get their distilled) just appear on our doorstep every month! The driver on our route is always cheerful and helpful, and the customer service I've had over the phone has been the same. read more

Do not do the auto pay the motherfu*ck*rs don't tell you they charge you the full price of cooler and bottles as well as close your accounts if they don't get a hold of you by phone. Change your policy before you make enemies. F U never again will you have me or anyone I know as our water service again. O and also your drivers that's suppose to deliver water don't actually deliver instead they will tell you BS lies and say you weren't home or couldn't get a hold of you. If I could give a -* I would. I have been with this company for 15 years. In January of 2015 I noticed a cooler charge on my invoice. I contacted customer service and spoke with a gal about it. Informing her I was being charged for a cooler rental... Umm, which is impossible! I purchased my cooler from Costco and had the receipt to back it. Well, apparently the driver felt the need to take my cooler and change it out for a new "clean" one.. Ha, Scammer!! I was told by customer service that the model number as well as serial number didn't match up to Mountain Mists model numbers and that they would have someone in the warehouse look for my cooler. I never heard back so I called again in March 2015 when I realized that this still hasn't been resolved. Go figure, all the notes on the account disappeared.. I was then told that I waited to long and was stuck with my New "rented" cooler. That wasn't going to fly, I told them to come out and pick their cooler up as well as the water I had, and I wanted to cancel our account, effective immediately!! Over the next several months, The driver continued to deliver water even though we didn't want it. Finally the end of September (after many calls to customer service) the driver showed up at the end of the month and picked up our cooler as well as 5 jugs of water. He also left an invoice dated for that day, charging me for a jug of water as well as another cooler rental. I was livid!! I contacted customer service and was told that they would look into it. Again, never a call back. I received another bill today (October 2015) showing Septembers charges and I faxed them asking about our credit. We did give back 5 jugs of water that we previously paid for... Well, I got a call back today and I guess we're Stuck with a bill because we had previously bought 6 jugs of water and only returned 5 and the cooler rental was for the previous month. This company has gone downhill. We have been over charged as well as stolen from. The drivers are uneducated in their jobs. Yes, their job is to deliver water. However, they need to be aware of their customers accounts of who rents, and who owns. Don't go into a business and take a cooler that doesn't belong to your company. Take the time to get a signature and don't write "Mickey Mouse" or "on the phone" in the customer signature line. That isn't ok!! Consumer beware and watch your invoices closely. If you find an error, write down who you spoke with and get it resolved with in 48 hours. Don't wait for a call back because they will wait it out and blame you, the customer. read more

I was with Mountain Mist for a short time and in that time they had double charged me ( I did eventually get my refund), the billing was weird with having two separate charges for different things, and when I called to change payment info they tell me I had 2 more bottles than I actually did. The lady argued with me that maybe hubby moved them and I didn't know or that I should go double check. This went on for at least 5 minutes telling me I had these 7 bottles. She placed me on hold and comes back and says she sees I only have the 5 I told her I had. Maybe to save a customer she should double check her records before accusing the customer of being wrong and had a little bit of a friendlier attitude. read more

First off I am not nor will i ever be a mountain mist customer after the last two weeks. Mountain mist has been totally harassing our business ever after we told them we were happy with out current vendor which we have had for 8 years. It got worst when they saw it was Crystal Springs no less, sending in diff rent sales members and degrading another company is not how you are going to get our business, cheap prices or not. In Our business complex here in Tukwila the word is out about your company and how you have been harassing business, not just us. read more

I have had no show deliveries, rude customer service and inconsistent billing. I was told one time the truck broke down. Ok, I understand things happen, but don't just not deliver it at all. (A month later I called to find out where my water was)! I also asked to talk to a supervisor, was put on hold, then told they just went into a meeting, but they agreed with the customer service rep. Mountain Mist's customer service is embarrassing. And for the record I do not work for a competitor, but will be getting their services. I will never recommend their service. read more

My experience with Mountain Mist left a lot to be desired. Machine problems, had to have my cooler replaced twice in less then 6 months. Their delivery schedule is not what they post and they only follow company policy when it's to their benefit. All this and you get to pay more when they decide. I highly DO NOT recommend getting involved with this company! read more

hmm so a lot of horrible reviews on here for terrible customer service so, hopefully not but I may be on here again to update. but I just called to get new service and the person that helped me was amazing. she listened, she got me water right away because i told her I had been without and explained everything efficiently. she was also hilarious, which always helps. dont have the water yet and haven't had to dispute my bill yet, which seems to be the majority of complaints but so far, AWESOME :) read more

When we first moved to WA, we lived on Fort Lewis, the military base. We moved to a rural gated community and asked Mountain Mist if they delivered within the gates. They assured us that they did deliver within the gates, and had several more customers in this community. In the year and a half that we have lived here, we have had sporatic delivery of water, sometimes going months without water and still being charged for cooler rental. I have called customer service numerous times to complain, and they have cited each time that there was a new route driver and have assured me they have gated access. I have not had delivery of water since Sept. 29 (today is Dec. 22) and just received delivery yesterday. The driver told me that sometimes they don't come on my scheduled delivery date because they can't get in. He said the previous driver of this route told him it's best to tailgate a homeowner in, entering illegally, even though the kind of truck they are driving is not permitted in this community. He said they only have one other customer in this community and therefore the community office won't issue them a card. He asked if I could "lie and get an extra card" to provide to him. I called customer service for three days, leaving countless voicemail messages with no return call from Carly, the CSM. Today, I insisted on speaking with someone different, and she, Annette, told me that it's my fault if the driver can't get into the gated community and that in breaking in, the driver was "being creative and at least trying to get you your water". She also stated that if I couldn't be home on my delivery day to give back the cooler and water, I would just be charged for it. I told her I will be home today and tomorrow and then gone for Christmas and then back to work. She said "maybe" someone could come and pick up the cooler and water. I asked her to refund us from the end of September til now for cooler rental, since we were unable to utilize the equipment due to non-delivery of water. I cited that no one from the delivery route or the office ever called us when they couldn't deliver, because they have been misleading us this whole time about their ability to enter the community. She stated that I would have to pay for the cooler rental because I had a signed agreement, and that if I didn't, they would send it to collections. I just made an offer on a home and if this is sent to collections, it will impede that process. I pointed out to Annette that they also are bound by that agreement to provide a service and product, which they had not, and that I am not obligated to pay. I said, "Your office lied to me and said you could provide this product to my gated community." She said, "Well, I'm telling you now we can't." She told me it was up to me to find a solution and if I couldn't, we would just have to cancel the service and I would have to pay. read more

I am a business owner and have had service with Mt. Mist for several years. I was happy with them until this past year. I m not sure if it was due to my driver being changed?? Whatever happened I am very displeased. During April Thur June I received no Delivery's and called a few times to get the issue resolved. Although I am just a small business owner and don't spend a ton of money on water each month I still feel my business should be appreciated and issues resolved in a timely manor. When I did finally see the water distrubtor in June I told him i would be out of the business in July and Aug. and would need no water. He told me he would make a note on my account. They kept dropping water off. More and more. So 1st I couldn't get water then I had water I didn't ask for?? I called Mt. Mist and told them this was happening for the past year several months on again off again water. Now I was moving to a larger location and had had to hall a bunch of water containers with me. So I called again since I had now enough water for a few months and asked if I could just rent the water dispenser and not have water delivered until it ran out and I would cancel there service at that time. She said I could not just rent the dispenser!! Then I was really mad so I said to come pick up the dispenser and All the water they had delivered and she said they could not take back the water????. So i said come get the dispenser IM DONE. A few month later I get a call from collections saying i owe 75.00- 50.00 of it for the water bottles they refused to take back? Really. I never even got a bill. When I have called the manager 4 times and have asked nicely for a return phone call to resolve this issue she calls the collections dept. for them to deal with me! I have been hung up on, and disconnected, I am not an irate person. A disservice was done and I want it made right. It is not about the money it is principal. I will be contacting the BBB, write reviews on the web and voice my opinion to anyone who will listen cause NOW i am mad! read more
