I've had my kids here for almost three years now and cannot say enough great things about it. Their infant room is top notch with a safe, clean, stimulating environment and AMAZING teachers. Leaving your new baby is one of the hardest things so you need to know your baby is safe. I have my second baby in there now and she is so happy when I drop her off. My 5 year old was here for a couple years before kindergarten and she left so well prepared she is performing beyond her class. But what's really great is that the teachers here make learning fun, so she never felt like it was work and her day was still very play based. I also have a 3 year old here and he likes it so much he asks to go on the weekends sometimes. Teacher turnover has been low for quite a while now and the ones they have are stellar. I would keep my kids here even if I was a stay at home parent or had other options- they have friends, are socialized, eat new foods (the chef here is fantastic!), and learn so much more than I am capable of teaching them. There are also extra curricular programs like soccer, cooking adventures (my daughter loved that one), Tumble Bus, etc. I think it's pricy compared to some of the other daycares, or even other Kindercares, but I think it's well worth it. read more

This is a wonderful daycare! Our 8-month old baby goes here and we are so satisfied with the quality of care. The staff is patient, nurturing, and kind with the students. They have fun units where they teach them different things and they are always inspiring and stimulating them with age appropriate activities. Our little boy is advanced in his gross and fine motor skills and I know it's because of the work his fine teachers are doing every day. As a parent, you can't ask for more than a safe place to send your child where the teachers care and communicate with you on your child's development. It's been difficult to bring back our son to daycare since the pandemic, but seeing how he is loving it so much has been reassuring. I like that their class sizes are kept to a minimum and kids are kept within their groups for health safety. I love how frequent and how much photos and vids they send of their activities through the app. The teachers have been open and easy to communicate with. They seem to be inspired in going above and beyond to make the kids' learning fun and enjoyable yet safe. read more

This KinderCare is awesome! Great staff that communicates with you as the parent and allows you to really ask questions. The staff truly is invested in the well being and development of the kids. We started out at this KinderCare when our son was a toddler with Ms.Kimberly and she is absolutely amazing! She made myself and my partner feel so confident in her as new parents! We had to switch to a different unfortunately for a year cause we had moved homes but our experience at other KinderCares was not ideal. We moved our son back this KinderCare and he has been at this location for almost a year. He is now a toddler and his teachers Ms.Sydne and Ms.Crissy are amazing! He loves this daycare and literally doesn't like leaving cause he has so much fun! I have noticed the overall energy is so positive and upbeat since Ms.Corrine took over as director! We recently moved our four year old granddaughter to the Mountain Park KinderCare and we are so happy. She has some special needs so it has been difficult to find a good fit for her. I am only doing this review to let other parents know what my experience has been here and to hopefully cause upper management of this business to take a closer look at the care that is provided at these facilities. My daughter who is 15 months old and has never been to daycare was only here for 4 days. In that time i very quickly noticed the director is the type of person that is being rude but doing it in a nice voice to make it sound like shes not. I didnt feel my concerns as a new mom and new to daycare were considered although it may have been verbalized. I felt as though everyone was in a constant rush even in the tour. Communication about anything and everything is poor, dispite the app that they have, which honestly aside from the pictures and messeging is pointless. I didnt listen to my gut and went with the good reviews of the place and i wish i wouldnt have. Day 1 they lost some of her clothes and i noticed she came home and was extremely thirsty, day 2 i was sent pictures of her wearing a shirt that wasnt hers she came home again very thirsty and at this point i noticed her starting to get a diaper rash so i sent her with diaper cream on day 3, they clearly didnt use it as it only got worse, day 4 she came home with the worst diaper rash shes ever had, drank a whole cup of water on the way home and 2 more cups when we got home. I brought all of this up to the director. I called the director on day 4 to ask how shes been adjusting she told me she was not actively playing with the other kids, she was very shy and just liked to watch other kids play. Later that evening i notice my daughter had small bruises on her forearms. I emailed the director back asking if something had happened and she said sometimes kids play rough when they are first learning, when just earlier she stated my daughter had not been playing with other kids....she will not be going back to this place or any kindercare ever again. I dont understand the good reviews, expecially for this place, i obviously cannot speak of other locations. I feel guilty for bringing my daughter here and traumatizing her. Even if the bruises were not made by intentional force which i would hope they werent, this is unexceptable, everything that has happened is unexceptable. We bring our children to strangers in hopes that they will be safe and treated with care and love and its rediculous that this is not the standard everywhere. Be cautious. If you are good at picking up on peoples intentions or "vibes", you will see what i mean when you meet the director. read more

Our younger daughter has been going here since the summer and she loves it. At the end of the weekend she looks forward to going back so she can play with her friends and her teachers. We moved from out of state and this daycare is slightly smaller than the one we came from, which I appreciate because it makes it so more kids know each other and also know more teachers. The staff is very friendly and doesn't hesitate to pick up our shy daughter and give her snuggles in the morning. The food is much healthier than the daycare we used previously and it's so nice not having to worry about bringing anything (and the cook is the sweetest!) They have fun activities like Soccer Shots and the Tumble Bus come to the school, which my daughter loves. All in all I would definitely recommend it! read more

Kindercare in Mt. Park, Lake Oswego, is where my son was at for the first 14 months of his life. I was a single parent who dreaded having to go back to work and leave my son all day long. I have to say I have never met a more loving, caring, and responsible group of care takers ever. Whenever my son got sick they called me immediately. They were always right on top of his care. The center is clean, friendly, and filled with love. My son learned sign language there, as well as sharing, drinking from a sippy cup, eating regular food, and so much more! The teachers don't just care for the children, they love them. I was heart broken to leave when we moved. I highly recommend this center. read more

The caregivers are genuinely friendly, positive and professional - there is always a smile in the room and they are so patient! I am never concerned about safety and they truly love each and every individual kid - for example, they never forget to point out the special thing my baby did today, makes me so happy after a long work day. It is truly a unique daycare - always good communication - completely receptive to directions and no one there is just in between jobs - most have already had kids of their own and have been there for many, many years - in most cases, I feel they have way more experience than me! Plus, management is fantastic. It's not just the teachers, you also have them communicating with you and ensuring your child and family's needs and desires are met. With schools closed, my wife and I, both health care professionals, needed a way for our 6 and 9 year old daughters to be safely supervised during their remote learning. We don't have family available to watch the kids, we were unable to find/form a pod with another family, and we didn't want to just leave them at home alone. KinderCare completely solved our problem. Safe supervision, clean work space, delicious meals, and even some sorely needed socialization with other kids. The staff ensures that kids are wearing their masks, that remote learning schedules are monitored, and even technical assistance is provided when needed. Corrine is always responsive when the kids schedules and needs change, as they seem to weekly with remote learning. I can't praise this center enough. My wife and I have placed our two sons there for the past five years, and both have flourished under the teachers' loving care. First and foremost, the teachers have been exemplary, and although turnover is high in the child care industry generally, this center seems to retain its teachers for multiple years -- always a good sign. Hiring is remarkably consistent, too, when departures do happen: EVERY teacher we encountered loved early childhood education and happily dedicated themselves to making kids smile while they learned. The facility is clean, spacious, bright, and cheerful, and there are two outdoor play areas for different aged kids, providing ample room to frolic. If you have two children in the center, as we did, they can also see and interact with each other outside, which is fun for both of them. Safety is highly valued, too, as the center is secure and all incidents (biting, falls, pushing, whatever) are reported to the parents of every involved children. Importantly, whenever we had a complaint, the center director acted quickly to address it. She is as energetic, committed, and warm-hearted as her staff, and she's a true professional when it comes to dealing with parents. In fact, that's the main thing I appreciate about this center: they make us feel that we and our children are special and valued. Hugs and smiles are plentiful at this center, and the positive feelings are contagious. My oldest son just transitioned to public kindergarten and truthfully I wish he were still at the Mt. Park Kindercare. I take him back there whenever we pick up our youngest, and the teachers still greet him with hugs and lovingly tell him they are proud of him. He brightens up instantly, feeling appreciated and valued. In short, this is a happy place filled with happy people doing what they love. There are numerous reasons this is the flagship center in the KinderCare family (note to KinderCare Corporate: excellence should be commensurate with compensation; raises are in order for the truly outstanding). I've been overjoyed with the quality of care we've received, and I'd particularly like to commend the following teachers for the stellar, life-changing impacts they have made over the past five years: Audrey, Eliane, Libby, Meridian, Montica, Linda. If some of these teachers have moved on by the time you contact this center, don't worry -- they excel at hiring the most dedicated, responsible, friendly, and loving teachers I've seen. Years ago this was a great daycare but not anymore. If your looking to pay a lot of money and don't care about the type of care your child is getting, this is the place for you. I would recommend checking the other kindercare first just to see how they are run differently. There is another kindercare 2 minutes away from this one. My child was there almost a year. I tried hard to work with the staff because I did not want to take my child away from friends but my child's safety ended up coming first. My child was getting sick all the time, having behavioral problems, and constantly having rashes from diaper changes. I wondered about the rashes a lot since there were times my child would come home with other children's diapers even when they had plenty at school so I was worried when that started happening. Even when I received all my child things back when we were leaving, I was given other children's diapers and medical forms. (HIPA violation). The good news to this tragic tale is that my child has now been at a new care facility for a little over 2 months. Not once has my child been sick. No more rashes and no more behavioral problems. This center really needs help and I hope they get it soon because they keep overfilling with kids and have not enough staff that can care for them. They blame it on corporate saying they are making them do that but it's scary to drop off in a room with one teacher and 7 kids several times. Maybe it's the staff, maybe it's the director, maybe it's the wrong type of facility (no sinks in the toddlers bathrooms) but something really needs to change. If this helps just one kid stay safe then this was well worth my time to write. Hoping someone will help them because they need it. To building a better future for the next generation. read more
