The winery is on one end of Main Street, and has patio seating (there was live music outside), as well as an interior tasting room. Right off the bat, we didn't think either of the people working were overly friendly, and didn't really make us feel overly welcome. We decided to do two flights of red wine - kind of insane to me that a flight was $40, thank god we had a 2 for 1 discount. The other people in my party also said they'd give the experience a 2 or 3 stars - price was unbelievably expensive (especially when you can go down the street at Carboy and do a flight for half the price). No one was impressed by the service either - for a flight, I'd expect a little more background and explanation of the wines, but the person came and dropped off beakers of all the wine with a quick explanation then left it up to us to pour our own wines. The wines themselves were nothing spectacular either, two from Colorado and two from California grapes (I think) - we liked the blend but that was about it. Unfortunately would not recommend this place to others or come back.

Now, word to the wise, a friend of mine and I came here after a hike - the BEST time to stop into any winery :) - It was Sunday around 1pm and every table outside was completely booked and we had two dogs with us, so we had to sit outside. We were almost out of luck, but thankfully one reservation did not show, so after a short wait, they seated us right by the stage. All of the staff were friendly and helped us get settled in, even offering a dog water bowl and little dog yoga mats so they would be comfy on the gravel. We ordered a flight - 6 tastes for $15, highly recommend and we treated ourselves to a post-hike baked brie that was perfect. We found out that if you order three bottles of wine to take home your tasting is free, so naturally... :) I will call ahead and make a reservation next time so we can be seated right by the river. Aspen Peak has such a lovely chill vibe and delicious reds whites and rosés!

What a sweet hidden gem! If I could give an extra GOLD STAR to Vines at Vail Winery, I would…read morebecause the service and value were exceptional! My two friends and I each got a flight of 3 wines and they were very nice sized pours. We all enjoyed our wines, but the favorites (and bottle purchases) were the Malbec, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. The ambiance is awesome! It was a beautiful day, so we sat at the exposed bar (wild west themed) and was quickly greeted by Patrick and Jordan. They were so friendly! They felt like long-time friends! Patrick poured us each a taste of a Sangiovese that wasn't on the menu and it was great (which is why we both ended up buying a bottle). We also had pizza with Patrick's secret ingredient - a drizzle of balsamic glaze - YUM! We didn't get the charcuterie board but another patron had it and it looked very, very good! Customer service was seriously exceptional! They were friendly, personable, and helpful. I felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us and they genuinely wanted us to leave happy. They even told us about upcoming events they are having at the Winery. Value is super reasonable too. The flight of 3 was $18 (and again, Patrick hooked us up with a few more tastes) and the bottles are approximately $35 each. I can't wait to come back and bring my mom and sister. This is seriously my favorite yelp review I've written to date. This place is super special!

Today should have been no exception except it was. Instead of being friendly and helpful with my easy order of 1 bottle to go, 1 glass of wine and 1 hummus plate the bar staff decided to make it her job to make my time snd $ difficult. I hate paying $100 for servers to act condescending and trite over something as easy as basic customer service. Refused to place my hummus order with my wine bottle "to go" order unless I sat down and had it ordered by another staff member. Soooo I took my single glass of wine and had to find a host member to get me a table, go sit and wait 20 minutes just to place an order of hummus. Then another 20 for it to arrive. I just wanted to pop in for a glass of wine and small plate of hummus as snack to go w the wine. Plenty of servers. No big crowds or big rush, the bar was empty and mind you the venue is very small. So not sure what the big deal was. I think owners and management need to educate the newer younger staff on REAL customer service and how to make things work for the customer not the other way around. Like why was this bartender making something so simple so difficult. Also, at the end of my visit I didn't appreciate being startled and rudely interrupted 2x by a very young waitress that is clearly new and obviously has zero customer service skills or experience serving people. Would have been 1 Star today for Creekside if it weren't for Ryker. He should be the example and litmus for servers.

We were warmly welcomed, along with our pup, and decided to do a tasting. For just $5, we got five 1-ounce pours of our choice. They have a nice selection of wines, a comfortable tasting room, and a super-friendly host. Of course, tasting led to shopping, and three bottles of wine came home with us. The wines were very reasonably priced. A fun, welcoming little winery that was well worth the stop.

The endearing personalized wine glasses hung on the wall, each with the "nickname" of its patron took this place to a new level for me. We got to witness a local couple come in for a sip. The owner grabbed their wine glasses and was ready to pour their choice before they barely got through the door. The wine selection had something for any wine lovers passion. I am partial to a sweet wine and enjoyed quite a few of their offerings. We got a charcuterie board to munch on with our wine tasting and it was plentiful and filling. The owner is very personable and knows his stuff. Will be making this winery a regular stop when I come to Colorado to visit family.

The restaurant is spacious and seating are comfortable, really friendly staffs. We start off with a bottle of bubbly to go with the meat and cheese plate. The server was really nice to notice that I don't like goat cheese, he brought out some manchego for me. With that said, service was great. After that, we order New England Lobster Roll and Papperadelle Wild Mushroom Ravioli to share. For supposedly small plate, they were not stingy at all. It was a lot and we couldn't finished. However, the food was just so-so. I really wish it was better. Food wise 2 stars, adding 1 star for good service.

We stumbled into this place totally by accident without realizing that this was the old Metropolitan - and we felt incredible to have rediscovered the place again after the name change. The menu is almost unchanged from the Metropolitan days - still awesome tacos (lobster, chorizo, carnitas), still awesome bacon stuffed dates, still awesome flatbreads. The wine list is good, the service is great. Somehow the place was more crowded before the name change - I felt a bit sad to see the place half-empty this time, whereas last time we had to wait for a while to get a seat even on an off-season dinner night. I hope their business picks up - the place is really a 5 star establishment.
