The place inside is small, but its still spacious enough that you're not crammed against the other tables. From the moment you're walking up to the place it calls your attention cause its located in the historic Gold Pan Saloon. And the decor inside follows that rustic saloon winery vibes with barrel decors and a crazy ceiling design. They have a great bar area for tastings or a glass of wine as well. I opted for the wine flight, which was great. It included 3 different types of red wines and they were each delicious. My fav was the cabernet franc. It was the best of the 3 for me. For food we went with the Red Rocker charcuterie board and it was great. They pick the 2 cheeses and 2 proteins, which are a rotating selection, along with pickled veggies and a spread with homemade wine tortilla chips. What I love about it is that you can tell the board is freshly made when it's ordered. I was also able to try a piece of the bruschetta with Poached Figs, Whipped Goat Cheese, Honey & Pine Nuts and it was to die for. If goat cheese is your thing, do not skip out on this one. The whipped cheese is crazy, Amazing texture and flavor. We stopped by a couple of days later for a glass of wine and it was packed but they were nice enough to let us stand on the side enjoying a glass till a seat opened up at the bar. I got a glass of their "house red" which is divine. Great body and perfectly balanced. And did I mention it's only $10?!? Totally worth it. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

The sophistication is matched by the beautiful creekside setting. My crew had a flight of red and whites which they claimed were excellent. I'm looking for a quick bite we selected the board which offered olives, cheeses, salumi, snacky meaty meats and tasty spread to bring it all together. Such a perfect interactive share dish to get everyone chatting. Entrees included mussels and hamburger which was done en croute giving it a spectacular presentation. I'm seeing a black truffle/brie versions for mushroom cheese burger. The mussels were in buerre tomate and looked great. I'm adverse to this mollusk so had to judge this reviews on the smiles beeming over slurp slurp sound. Dessert was great. The flourless cake was dense and chocolaty with vanilla quenelle. Cannolis needed some rolling pin love on the pastry. The filling needed mascarpone and a touch less gelatin to lighten the mouthfeel. Can't wait to get back and eat through the menu.

Its his favorite wine cellar in the area for good reason. The food is amazing, view so chill (next to a semi frozen river) and of course the wines!! Being fm CA I intentionally ordered all CO wines. I can definitely taste the difference and was glad to experience it on a special occasion.

We stumbled into this place totally by accident without realizing that this was the old Metropolitan - and we felt incredible to have rediscovered the place again after the name change. The menu is almost unchanged from the Metropolitan days - still awesome tacos (lobster, chorizo, carnitas), still awesome bacon stuffed dates, still awesome flatbreads. The wine list is good, the service is great. Somehow the place was more crowded before the name change - I felt a bit sad to see the place half-empty this time, whereas last time we had to wait for a while to get a seat even on an off-season dinner night. I hope their business picks up - the place is really a 5 star establishment.

The restaurant is spacious and seating are comfortable, really friendly staffs. We start off with a bottle of bubbly to go with the meat and cheese plate. The server was really nice to notice that I don't like goat cheese, he brought out some manchego for me. With that said, service was great. After that, we order New England Lobster Roll and Papperadelle Wild Mushroom Ravioli to share. For supposedly small plate, they were not stingy at all. It was a lot and we couldn't finished. However, the food was just so-so. I really wish it was better. Food wise 2 stars, adding 1 star for good service.
