Fresh produce is often difficult to find, and the overall shopping experience falls far below expectations. Despite these ongoing issues, I continued to give them chances because I wanted to support a local business. After today's experience, I'm done. I'll continue to consistently take my business to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Kings, where cleanliness, product quality, and customer service are clearly priorities. When I walked in somone walked me to the culinary area. I was greeted, signed in and the lady took my temperature. The instructor Steve and his assistants had masks on the whole time and so did we. We were making seafood dishes: clam chowder, risotto, crab stuffed shrimp, slaw, cod and a butter cream cake. Each of us paired up to make each dish and when finished we packed it up so we could bring it home due to Covid. The class was very hands on and Steve was very thorough and quick with each station. We made everything from scratch which was a first for me. When I got home I ate. I had to add a little season salt to some items but it wasn't bad. The chef really didn't push for us to add to much salt. We did a good job as a group. It was definitely a fun class.
