This is by far one of the worst pharmacies Walgreens has. They are out of basic OTC items and it's the slowest pharmacy ever. Appt at 8am; doctor called in one rx. Wasn't ready till next day. I loathe CVS but am tempted to go back to them. Stay away from this store. read more

A big Walgreens, big parking lot outside. The store reminds me of another design rather than the standard Walgreens livery, apparently it was a Drug Fair in a prior life and not completely remodeled, yet? Pharmacy hours pretty standard and the line was short (3 ppl), went relatively quickly. There was one person organizing and the prescription was ready at about the time they said it would be which is better than some of the Walgreens I've visited in the last few years. read more

yesterday I went to this Walgreens location, and there was a woman with disgustingly long nails that had to have violated the health code. I bought two Chapstick and mouthwash and the total was $21. each Chapstick is two dollars and the Listerine was 10. If my math is correct that's $14 so why was I charged $21? I was thinking about it so I walked back into the store. She asked where my receipt was and I said she never gave me the receipt. She was disagreeing with me and saying that she did give the receipt, but then she started looking through her receipts and she found it when she looked at the purchase. She did charge me wrong. It was supposed to only be $14, but she charged me for 21. Many people I know have complained about these long nails and it needs to be dealt with. read more

We used to use the pharmacy at CVS Westfield but this place is so much better. Much better parking. The CVS lot is small and often packed. Walgreens has a large parking lot. The pharmacy here seems a lot more organized too. The wait times are shorter and the staff seem more on top of things. read more

Don't plan on shipping anything via fedex here. The service is slow and horrible. They can't scan QR codes for returns or shipping.

This is a great Walgreens location. All of the employees were wearing masks and there's never much of a line.

In my experience, the Westfield CVS pharmacists are much more helpful, much easier to reach by phone and medications are much less likely to be out of stock. read more

Very friendly staff, I came here for a passport pic. Don't expect nothing fancy; they put you against the wall and take your pic with a regular camera but do magic and give you what the U.S. Office is asking for. The pic cos $11.99 for two passport pics. The Walgreens is located inside a nice little plaza. read more

This review is regarding the pharmacy department only. If your insurance covers other pharmacies in the area, I would strongly recommend you fill your prescriptions elsewhere. The Westfield Walgreen's Pharmacy lacks in: customer service, efficiency, and technical skill level of pharmacy techs (i.e. billing, coordination of benefits). If you go to this pharmacy you will usually see long lines, frustrated customers, and a dismissive pharmacy tech. I hear the phrase, "I don't make the rules" from the pharmacy staff when they attempt to bill medications incorrectly or when customers tell them they have been waiting for the past 30 minutes. I was told to talk to my insurance carrier for what was essentially their refusal to enter my order correctly. I ended up going to Barons Drug Store in Westfield and they had no issue in entering my order with coordination of benefits, even as a new customer. read more

This used to be a Drug Fair. I bet some of you locals remember that. Some of the old moldings and floor decals still remain, but not for long. They're doing some interior renovations in order to make the store more brighter and modern. As of now, they're still not finished yet. Because of the construction, some of the shelves looked either messy or empty. This was on the old side. But on the new side, divided by the wooden construction wall, were newly constructed shelves that were filled with some merchandise. The new chilled and frozen food & drink cases were installed, but completely empty. On top of those cases was a wallpaper that revealed orange slices. I guess that's where the orange juice is going to be located. :P We come here once in a while to get something that's on sale. Recently, we had to get some cereal and multivitamins. We were able to find them in the new area without a problem. At least the shelves where those items were located were very organized, so that was a plus. Customer service was nice. We even asked the nice person at the register when construction will be completed, and she said "I don't know, hopefully soon!". She was also able to ring up the raincheck that we got before without a problem. All of that was good. We've never utilized the pharmacy service at this location, therefore we can't comment on that. The parking lot here is quite plentiful, compared with the Plainfield location. But this was probably because of the fact that there was a mini "strip-mall" right across from Walgreens. We'll definitely be back here later on if we're in the area and need to get something. We hope construction gets completed by then. read more

Had an excellent customer experience, but not like you would think. They were out a particular item that I really needed for an important work demonstration. They were out of the item as they actually called another local pharmacy to locate the item. I am very impressed with that tactic and will return to this Walgreens based on this experience. They actually helped find another item at another store! read more
