My Sister needed Physical Therapy after a stroke as well as observation. She was not pleased due to the lack of communication and the promises not being kept. Promises to clean wounds regularly NEVER happened. I was there when a tech told her (regarding her brief change) ' don't bother me unless you fill the brief, we are not going to waste them'. The "care" lacked by its very definition. Why 3 stars? The PT named Maria! She helped my sisters' Strength and will. The food made most there sick by first sight then "taste". Suffice it to say it is all about the will and drive of the patient. The food was awful. The communication was horrible. Good luck! read more

This place is HORRIBLE! I got here at 8pm at night, had hip replacement surgery and they refused to give me my pain medication. I am 3 pills behind(not taken) my regiment and all they will say is that pain management will be here sometime today. They gave 1 physical therapist, 1 doctor and maybe 2 nurses in the whole building which is I don't know, 60 patients. OBVIOUSLY they don't care about patients, they only care about their bottom line. read more

Not a good facility. I have a relative 95 years old losing her hearing, eyesight and legs. The CNA Tamara is a mean impatient person to the patients. The food is awful. The doctor doesn't see the patient The list goes on. No laundry is done. They avoid putting her in her wheelchair so she is confined to bed. The people in charge of the facility do not return calls. The food is awful and real bad menu and cook. Dinner could be at 5 or 7 no consistency. Worst place! read more

I am STILL a pt here unfortunately. I transferred here for PT to walk again. I had been hospitalized since Nov 2. I'd risk my insurance refusing to pay my claims if I was able to stand and take enough steps to get into a car. Horrific here. Please don't put any loved ones here. The lobby is lovely and the staff that would talk to you about an admission are very nice initially. However ... it took 23 hrs to get something for pain, somehow my regular diet got changed to puréed - disgusting!, so I'm surviving on strawberry Ensure, and the list goes on and on. I'm forced to give a 1 star rating but that's 1 star too many. My fingers are crossed along with prayers that I not only am able to take a few steps soon but that I just flat out survive being here. read more

If it wasn't for the very kind and talented physical therapists, and a few caring nursing staff, I would have rated Mountain View lower than two stars. Worst experience of several I've had in a skilled nursing facility, and the food was even worse than that. I broke my hip and went in for PT rehab. Nighttime and weekend staff appeared to be there for the paycheck, and rarely answered call buttons or helped their patients at all. Patients yelling or crying or begging for help all day and night made it difficult to rest or heal. I was told, "oh, we just ignore him", when I asked about one poor soul. And that was the "skilled nursing" wing. Thankfully, the therapy staff had me up and moving and out of there in short order. And a few friends brought lunch or dinner in to me so I received some real nutrition. Please, look for another facility if you need help. read more

My daughter was taken to Mountian View with the promise that it would only be a couple of weeks to treat her Mersa and some physical therapy. Due to Covid she was required to stay there for 5 mos. They immediately moved her to the demensia ward with a 90 yo woman (She is 43 and bedridden). During this time she called me numerous times to complain that no one responds when she pushes the call button. She stayed in wet clothing for up to 7 or 8 hours sometimes. I would call and complain but many times no one answered the phone. While there they lost her sling for her hyer lift which she needs. They ordered another one but it was not correct so she has gone for a week without one. They also lost 4 good gowns I sent with her and then sent back home 3 size small t-shirts instead. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I guess MV doesnt like the public to know, what kind of dump this is, since my review got deleted. I came here for a broken femur to get inpatient PT. Was treated like a dementia patient. Nothing wrong with my head! Issues I had: I waitet 25 min. after I pressed the call button. TV remote did not work, oberhead light had a 1 inch pullstring, unreachable. The AC blew dirty smelling air. Dr. S. Chews gum while talking to patient, not very professional. NP Laura E. talked in front of friends about my medical condition, not acceptable. Jssica gave me the wrong information about my doctors appointment. 2 assigned shower days a week, no privacy at all in the shower room. Someone went in my room while I was out and taped a paper on my personal fridge and put a thermamometwr inside. It's a violation of privacy! One older lady wearing a hospital gown, wide open in the back, exposing her diapers etc. While getting PT. Someone could have button it, treat the patients with more dignety. Food is discusting, hubby brought me food every day. Tanya, Charlie and Jim are good PTs, the nurses are nice and trying their best. If anyone has a problem with my review, feel free to contact me. Please look very careful before putting your loved one in this facility. I watched as needs to use the bathroom where delayed for up to 45 minutes. Being washed was ignored. Not only is the patient treated rudely, but the family also is. I noticed a decline in my loved ones health, physical and mental while at this facility. Please be careful and investigate before using this facility for a recovery. read more

Mountain View Care Center employs some truly gifted and caring people both among the nursing and physical therapy staffs. That acounts for my 2 stars. That being said, they are sorely understaffed and therefore fall far shy of meeting their promises. Patients may wait over an hour to go to the restroom or to bed. They may go unshowered for 3 weeks despite their 2x per week guarantee. Some of the staff is outright rude and the kitchen absolutely refuses to respect diet restrictions and preferences, which is causes the nurses to become annoyed at the patient when reminded. We did a lot of research in selecting a place and were sold on their boasting of excellent service. But this is just another place where the customer is resented for expecting the provider to keep their pledge. read more

Because I don't like to complain, I wish I could say this is an awesome place for your loved ones to receive care, but it is NOT. My mother in law stayed there twice for lengthy periods of time, and would always complain how rude some of the staff were to her as well as several roommates. Plus, each time several personal items came up missing such as; her shoes, candies, make-up, clothes, magazines and even a jacket. This place looks good when you first walk in and sells a fake line how great of care one will receive, but don't be fooled.
