This company ended up destroying my system. They sold me a 4 year warranty that they didn't honor. The company that took over their book of clients is unethical and tries to tell you you have to replace your whole system when it is not needed. read more

This business went under, and (kind of) sold out to One Source Home Service. They promised me multiple years of service calls when I spent thousands with them on a furnace, and continually assured me I'd be taken care of. They left me with a bad furnace with a motor that didn't run and One Source wouldn't fix it for free - so One Source is not honoring any of the services sold by Mountain View. I was swindled by this company, even though they seemed great at first. Luckily they've closed up shop here but wanted to make sure this was known in case they re-open, and also for customers to know that One Source Home Service isn't really taking care of the commitments for this company that they purchased, which is really a shame. read more

Techs Eric and Cody just left my house after cleaning out all the air ducts. The procedure was painless for me and I'm really hoping it fixes my homes excessive dust issue! Could not have asked for better service from this company. They were the third company I called and offered the most fair quote (by A LOT) and soonest availability. The only thing i wish i knew was that the techs would have to Give this company your business! access every single Vent in the house. I had no idea and only Thought they'd Need to access our furnace, so my house was a mess when the techs Arrived and i had to scramble to move Furniture and kid toys, but they offered to help and were very understanding! read more

When I called for an estimate for a central a/c and heat they only had their service manager available instead of a salesperson. I'm thankful for that. Fred Clark was amazing. He took the time to check my crawl space, measured and found it did indeed have plenty of space to install. Previous companies wouldn't take the time to look or measure and gave me an immediate no. We decided to go with this company since they gave us several options at different cost levels that would suit our needs. Installation happens 6/10/19. Very pleased with the service given in today's cleaning. They found construction debris in the air ducts, since the build of our home, which was pretty gross. But thankfully they thoroughly cleaned & sanitized the air ducts leaving us with clean air in our home. read more

This is an honest, straightforward company, that trouble-shoots your A/C issues without trying to charge you for things you don't need. I have found them to be very responsive and helpful. Beware! Beware! Worst quality and customer service EVER! 1,) they only seldom answer their phone. I have called multiple times a day for four days now. No answer or ability to leave voice message. 2.) Terrible workmanship! They had to come out SIX times to replace furnace because of absolutely shoddy work and negligence. They don't care that you have to take off of work to accommodate their mess. 3) Rude with scheduling. Missed service "windows" (remember I had MANY due to incompetence) and some appointments not kept at all with no notification. 4) still waiting for inspection (that they probably won't do as they cancelled first one and refuse to answer phone to re-schedule). Illegal. 5) installed different brand furnace than verbally quoted 6) had to beg for basic stuff: owner's manual; make and model #; warranty 7) They love to take your $ up front and leave you with no "leverage" to finish the job and do it properly. should have written this 6 months ago, Jay came out to bid for an AC install...we hade gotten quotes of 20-30k as we have a hot water heating system and no ductwork in the attic. Jay looked at the home, calculated the need and then presented an affordable option using a heat pump in the attic and a AC unit on the side of the home for 11k installed. We begged them to start that day. They ordered the parts, had everything installed in 2.5 days and we now have AC and a secondary heating unit for a third of what other vendors wanted. Jay and the team are awesome, honest and look out for you instead of taking advantage. Cant say enough good things about them! read more

Installed heat pump a year and 1 week ago, began blowing warm air, so I called One Source, the company that took over. They had no records on me, but came out the next day to do inspection. End of story is my year old system is going to cost $1,800 to repair due to shoddy installment. Paid $3,800 and all it last is a fricken year. Jay Guitierrez, in your letter in February that you were going out of business and One Source was taking over Mountain View's "high level of service" . BS, I've owned central air systems over the last 20 years and this is the FIRST time I've ever had any type trouble with central air. I can not say enough about how great of a company this is. Sorry for my lengthy review but I fealt it necessary that I fully describe my wonderful experience. It started with Russell to get a quote. Initially I declined as I was concerned being located in the Springs they were not close enough to me in Highlands Ranch. I then agreed to get their quote as I needed a third. I am so happy I did! My next interaction was with Dustin at my home. He was fantastic as I never fealt like he was selling me but instead he listened and then helped educate me so I clearly understood all my options. By the end of his 2 hour visit, I said "SOLD" without hesitation. Then came the install with Ivan and Joel. Since I was getting a new furnace, smart thermostat, humidifier, air conditioner and decalcification system, I knew it was going to be several hours. They were efficient, polite and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Since my house wiring was from the early 80s, they did have an issue with installing the Echo bee thermostat. Even that turned into a blessing as Fred came the very next day and recommended I go with the Honeywell Prestige product. Holy moly, it is fantastic. I can control my house climate from my phone from just about anywhere; my livingroom sofa and also Florida while I visit my parents. Then on the final day while Fred was finishing up with the thermostat, he discovered I had a small carbon monoxide leak due to a smashed flue on the roof. The amount was low so wasn't registering on my detectors. Without hesitation he immediately ran to the hardware store, climbed up my roof and replaced everything without any additional cost. Within 30 minutes both the owner Jay and Dustin were at my house to check the entire installation and make sure all issues were resolved and to make sure I was happy. On top of all this great service, they gave me an incredible price on high standard Carrier and Honeywell products. Please give this Veteran owner and employed company a chance. We had a whole house humidifier that stopped working. I called Mountain View Comfort to have a tech fix it. I was concerned about replacing due to cost. After explaining the problem and age of the humidifier it became clear a new one was needed. To my delight I was offered a new one at a price that was affordable. The new humidifier was installed quickly by Bobbie. He is very professional, explaining how to operate the humidifier and cleaned up the work space afterwards. It became evident to us that it was time to replace our 25-year-old HVAC system after the last mega-snow storm. We read reviews and found this Veteran-owned company. The owner, Jay, came over and gave us many options on how and what to replace our system. We decided on what we wanted, and he and his team were in place the day and time they said they would be here. It took a day to replace everything, that's all! We found that Jay is a responsible and very savvy HVAC professional who can be trusted to get the job done. He was right on top of it when we texted asking a question. His people are great to work with and also know what they're doing. In addition, his prices were lower than anyone else, and they left the place sparkling clean! These guys took such good care of us. They went above and beyond what we ever expected in an HVAC company. When the project was complete, it looked great. When they were taking the old one out, they asked if our ducts had been cleaned. We told them "Yes, it just got done last week." They showed us where the other company, that charged us $500, did not do their job correctly. When we called the previous duct cleaning company who used a "ball", proclaimed that they had done things right even though pictures proved otherwise. You guys are on our good elves helpers list! I ended up buying a 5 year maintenance contract from Mountain View Comfort's Mike Bidwell to the tune of $1379 for a couple of houses in late January 2020.. A very short time later, I found out "Mountain View Comfort" was "sold" to Scot Bidwell, Mike's brother, under "One Source" HVAC. One Source was supposed to take over the maintenance contract. I had no problem with that idea until I called them in to do a furnace igniter replacement for my daughter's house. They tried to gouge me $350 for a $40 ignitor. I went ahead and got that part myself at Factory Appliance Parts for $40 and changed it out myself. I decided I did NOT want to work with such a shady company so I called to cancel my 5 year maintenance contract. I was told that technically Mountain View Comfort "went out of business" so I am even lucky that One Source would honor the contract. Basically too bad so sad. Do NOT hire OneSource. They are dishonest and price-gouging people! read more

I recently used Mountain View Comfort to install and entire Central A/C Unit and Furnace. The front end of the Customer Service, to include the bid, and complete install, was Five Star caliber customer service and professionalism!! With that said the "post install" customer service sucks! Their administrative assistant, Lacy, tries to be as helpful as she can, but in my case it appears that she is not being supported by her bosses, to include the owner. So when I average out the One Star "post install C.S. (that's only because I believe Lacy is really trying), with the Five Star, bid / install process, they only get three stars from this customer, which is a shame because their accessor who gave us the bid, and their install team were' awesome, to include the bid itself :( **PS - Update** Coincidently or not.....Shortly after writing this and an e-mail complaining to my insurance carrier and M.V.C., I just received a call from Jay, the owner at Mountain View Comfort, who took care of my post install insurance needs. He explained that there was some internal disconnects that led to my frustration, but gave his personal cell number for reference going forward. Once again, their bid was way better than anyone else, their install and C.S during the whole bid / install process was second to none So other than the post install disconnect detailed herein their a top notch company to deal with. read more
