First and foremost I want to give my deepest thank you and appreciation to Dr Ebram from the Mountain View & Ankle Care Facility in El Monte. I was a patient at the Greater El Monte Hospital in December 2019, I was on the table ready to have my big toe amputated because of an infection. Dr Ebram was my chief podiatrist and he basically saved me from an amputation. Unfortunately I broke my big toe in October and it didn't heal. I walked into this clinic for a second opinion and met Dr. Abdelmalak. His primary concern was to find a way to close the gap between the bones without having to perform surgery. Knowing that surgery would mean months of recovery using crutches or scooter, he opted to use a bone stimulator ultrasound machine. Now I'm 100% again in just a very short time! Dr Abdelmalak is one of the best doctors I have been to, every minute I spent in Mountain View Foot & Ankle Care he made sure I understand everything and explained every next step of the recovery process, the anatomy of my problem and he listened to my every concern. He realized that I had a misdiagnoses from a previous physician of a strained ligament and he started treating my tarsal tunnel. I got my orthopedic insoles from this clinic, they sent them to be fitted to the unique shape of my feet in the laboratory and you can be sure that it's the right thing for you, made of high quality materials. I came to see Dr. Abdelmalak on 9/18 for really bad toe pain I've been having for a few days after hitting it on a piece of furniture. He was able to see me that same day as a walk in, and take xrays on my foot same visit. Ended up I had a broken toe that I didn't even know about! He strapped me up and treated the fracture. I came in to see Dr. Abdelmalak due to suffering from foot and chronic back pain. My physical therapist recommended me here in hopes to treat my misalignment with my feet. After seeing Dr. Abdelmalak, he recommended that I get custom orthotics to wear daily, which would help with my back pain. After wearing the orthotics for a few weeks now, I can honestly say that I've noticed a drastic difference in my posture and back pain. I can't say enough about Dr. Abdelmalak (Dr.A for short) and his staff. They treat everyone like family. It is always a pleasure to come see them for my nails and callous problems. Everyone is with a smile on their faces. Not like other doctors offices where you can feel the animosity between the staff and doctor. Not here, good vibe. They seem like they like working together. This makes it a pleasant experience for us patients. The office is getting a facelift. Lol. The previous doctor that was here had it pretty run down, but since this doctor took over, his pride in his environment shows. He's currently remodeling from the outside in and it's going to look great! It's not cluttered anymore inside! Lol Dr. A's attention to detail and honesty about offering viable and affordable treatment options are very much appreciated. Impecable bedside manner. So glad he took over Dr. Colon's practice! I don't normally write reviews but Dr. Abdelmalak is amazing. I've been dealing with an ingrown toe nail for close to 6 months now of and off. Despiste visits with my GP it wasn't getting better I found his clinic thru a Yelp search. Called that day his staff was able to verify my insurance and get me an appointment within the next 2 days they advise getting there about 15 minutes early for paperwork which I followed and was seated pretty quickly. The doctor examined my feet and the best procedure to do based on the problems. He's very professional and takes his time making sure you understand what to expect post op.
