Not only are they upholding historic tradition of the mountain, but plans for upgrading and expanding just confirm the attitude of slow and methodical progress. Bad news, he said, two tests show you need a new one. Sigh. Some hidden tears at the unexpected expense. He even ordered the part (but didn't make me pay until pickup). Spent an hour calling around until a fantastic and car-saving auto shop agreed to see me (and keep the car over the weekend). Well, turns out it was NOT the alternator. I just needed a new battery. A quarter the price! And done in less than 90 minutes. Phew. (Turns out this happens because the thingamajig - the technical term - he used is not nearly as reliable as what an auto shop has. Go to the auto shop)

I emailed the owner and asked for a refund for the bag 13 days after purchase. Here is her response: - the bag is stitched with one continuous leather lace. Your pictures should a clean cut to the lace. It was not cut when you purchased it. Given that you don't want a replacement- I have to assume it was cut intentionally. Thus, I am not able to return or replace the bag. Out return policy is within 7 days and item must be in new condition with tags attached. She has accused me of cutting the bag. Unreal. Avoid this shop.
