Let me start this review by saying I am giving a 5 star review because this unit meets all needs, is clean and well appointed and everything worked. You can't really ask for more in terms of giving a 5 star. It was everything we needed for our stay. Now, the details. Our unit was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. 1 bedroom also has a hot tub, which is awesome in our book. Things to note, if you are sensitive to the smell of chlorine/bromine you may want to sleep in the room without the hot tub and leave the vent on. Each bed came with ample pillows and there were extra pillows in the closets. There are hangers to hang your things up, as well as dressers in both rooms. The bathrooms had complimentary small soaps and shampoo/conditioners just in case you forgot so you can still shower. There is a full kitchen with basic kitchen items supplied. We had pots, pans, bowls, plates, glasses, silverware, blender, toaster, coffee pot and more. Anytime we looked for something, it was there. I do recommend grabbing/bringing a few ziplocks. They come in handy as there are no Tupperware type containers. The living room has a gas fireplace, couch and loveseat as well as 2 foot rest/ottoman cubes and a tv. There is free wifi to use, but be advised it isn't the BEST and streaming on nasty days can be very difficult. (I get the area makes great internet pretty difficult, but finding a better option would seriously set this place up as absolutely PERFECT). Our unit also had a washer/dryer, 6 person kitchen table and chairs, another loveseat in the dining area as well as a desk and office chair. The views aren't OMG AMAZING from the room, HOWEVER if you walk down to the pool deck they absolutely meet the definition of perfect mountain valley views. I believe there are a few things Mountainside could do to really set this unit off, but at the same time it is a rustic no frills area nestled in a rustic no frills valley. If you want fancy and "upscale" there are plenty of resort towns to meet that need. OHHH and I forgot to mention WALK ON WALK OFF access to the slopes! I mean, COME ON! Did a timeshare exchange. I like that they just give you a code and you get access exactly at check in time. The bed room was spacious. It had 2 bathrooms and our private hot tub!! Pretty awesome right? Room were mostly clean. Kitchen utensils are limited although there is a full kitchen with oven and range. Good base camp as we are only about 30 min from west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. I wouldn't mind staying here again. Just wish the unit had better view. Drive in had beautiful view though. read more

This is our second time staying here through a points transfer with our Bluegreen membership. We loved Granby so much, my husband voted to vacation here again this summer. It was easy to agree! The condos are comfortable, well-furnished and have everything we expect from a vacation rental through our timeshare. Love having a washer/dryer in the unit, and the hot tub is a definite plus. We lucked out and scored an amazing view this year! Last year we faced a rock retaining wall across the parking lot . We also love being able to eat here; the kitchen is well stocked for a variety of simple meal preps. If you prefer cooking here, you might want to bring a knife sharpener, foil to cover pots (most don't have lids) and a grill spatula. The condos have nice gas grills outside! My tender self is picky about beds- the mattresses here are definitely not 5 star. But, not a deal breaker. Lighting in the bathrooms could be better, but since we spend most of our time hiking and outdoors, there isn't a need to dress up with great lighting. No AC, as is typical here. Lots of windows to open and a great breeze most of the time to air out when it gets stuffy in the afternoon. We leave a few open all day and night and sleep comfortably. Pleasant staff. I'm sure there are amenities here, but we don't really use them. We travel with a teen guy and a toddler as a family and find it to be a comfy space for everyone. It's not luxury, but it's very comfortable, clean, everything works, and makes for a warm and relaxing stay. One of the better RCI places, I think. read more

Mountainside At Silver Creek Condominiums - Our condo view - Condominiums Near Me - Granby, Colorado

We rented Mountainside Condo #4 in Granby CO. There was a picture of a bed in the Vacasa photos and it was in the Virtual Tour but was not actually there when we arrived. It was one of the main reasons we booked there. Vacasa could have simply asked the rental agent to go to the condo and facetime a whole tour to see what we were complaining about - but they didn't. TO THIS DAY, they still have the condo falsely advertised with a bed that isn't there anymore. It was understood that there was no AC but it was not mentioned that all the beautiful windows are SEALED and no way to get ventilation except a small window in the kitchen and the balcony door which doesn't have a screen so you can't leave it open at night because mosquitos will get in. And there are a lot of mosquitos. It was stifling at night. We were sleepless for half of the night - each night. Maybe it's a great winter rental but not during a hot summer ... There were fire or carbon monoxide alarms that flashed BRIGHTLY every 10 seconds over both sleeping areas. We had to cover them with gaff tape during our stay. My partner smelled animal urine near his side of the bed. There was a cat scratched chair leg. A lampshade was cracked in many places ... and not in a "rustic way". We had to wipe off the patio/balcony furniture ourselves because it was filthy. We paid WAY too much for what we received - and feel that we were falsely advertised to because of a picture of a bed that wasn't present. I hope this review helps someone else avoid what we went through with Mountainside Condo #4. read more

Very nice unit that has the standard fare including a stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc but you also get a washing machine and hot tub. I also love how there are countless places to plug my devices in. The inside feels just like a cozy place on top of a mountain with the fireplace and wooden tables. The front desk was very friendly. read more

This unit was part of the RCI inventory which happened to be a very pleasant surprise! We didn't think that we would get a hot-tub in our unit but when we called, they informed us that almost all of the 1-bedroom units did. Only two units didn't have one, which were apparently the bigger units. Suh-weet!! If you're expecting a peaceful and serene environment, this is it! You can't walk to any stores; but at least the view from the porch consists of rolling hills and a couple roads leading up to the place. Like I said, it's a slower pace and we loved it. City Market was just a seven minute drive down the hill with a gas station and liquor store in the same plaza. Still a very convenient location! Waking up every morning to jump into the hot tub with a view?! Heck yeah!! That definitely makes up for the somewhat dated unit; but it was nice and clean when we arrived and the hot tub within the unit really made up for it. No one bothered us. The wifi was a bit spotty but it reached the patio well enough so we could enjoy morning coffee and research what to do for the day. We visited State Forest State Park, which was a 1.5 hour drive away but worth it as they had a Moose Viewing area. We weren't lucky enough to see any since we were on a time limit but it was still awesome! The unit is about a 15min drive to downtown Granby which is quaint and has a local brewery in it which we visited. Overall the location is convenient enough and perfect to take in the scenery of rolling hills. We will be visiting again for sure...the in-unit hot tub really blew us away! read more

Not a bad location. The condos are comfortable and clean. Ours had a hot tub in one of the bedrooms. It was definitely a fun place to stay for a whole week. They have WiFi but it's not that great. If you had to make a phone call you had to go outside, but sometimes it wouldn't even work outside. read more

We stayed here a few years back. They allowEd pets and did not do sufficient clean up anywhere with pet poo all over outside and smells in the hallway. I actually had to vinegar spray our room and clean a LOT of pet hair off the furniture with duct tape. They just needed a really good cleanup team everywhere. Once clean, the room was nice. It has a small pool and hot tub and the restaurant was lovely! The place needed some refurbishing I am sorry to say. I really hope they have since we were there because the setting is wonderful and I would like to try again if the changes have been made. read more

I enjoyed our stay here. The woman who runs Mountainside is exceptional! She knows everything and anything you can think of doing in Colorado and was super friendly! Once a week she throws a information session for guests to learn about different activities they can do. It was such a nice meeting with appetizers, drinks, and tons of brochures on different places, etc. I just thought it was a very hospitable and charming touch. The cleanliness of the Condos was great, nothing really to complain about. Of the three condos we had, they all had hot tubs, which were great to hang out in at night when it got chillier. There is a small pool by the condos, which we actually never ended up going in because it wasn't warm enough. We did venture down the mountain and used the pool/racquet courts, and fitness center. It was nice to be able to use the facility, but again it is a short drive down the mountain so not the most convenient. The week we were at the condo, baby foxes were running around. It was adorable. The views at the Mountainside are beautiful! On certain days you can take a lift up to the top. They have tons of hiking trails and mountain bike trails if you are interested in that. We took the lift up and hiked down one day and it was a lot of fun, definitely a work out! I can't imagine being on a bike coming down the mountain, crazy! All in all Mountainside was a great place to stay. It's not to far from Winterpark and the small town of Grandby has some cool shops and a couple nice restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. read more

This is a lovely resort in the Granby Ranch section of Granby, CO. They have 100 condo units, ranging from one to three bedroom as well as a loft option to fit the maximum amount of people in your condo unit. The unit we stayed in had a full kitchen, fireplace and hot tub (that's right, a HOT TUB in the condo!). Because of the full kitchen, we were able to save money by making our own meals instead of eating out all the time. They were flexible with our stay period. Usually, a full week is required since the Mountainside at Silver Creek is part of a time share. With the time share, we paid only $65 for a six-day stay. The staff is kind and helpful for the guests. The town of Granby is a small ski town that is not too lively in the summer time. But it is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park. This is a great place to stay! read more

Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises from the mountain/valley views condos! It is centrally located in Grand County to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Lake Granby, Indian Peaks Wilderness, Fraser, and Winter Park. There are miles of trails for hiking, biking and skiing. Most of the condos are ski in and ski out. They have a great grocery store just a two mile drive down the mountain, which is great because they have grills and kitchens. Not a cook? Read my other reviews on local restaurants, there are many to choose! Gas fireplaces in each unit are cozy and easy to use. You can rent the units or get them through RCI timeshare. Fine place to stay. Weird that the hot tub is right in master bedroom. We had to turn it off at night and remember to turn it on. But it's a nice place to come back to after a day of exploring. But it fit our needs just fine. Nice that we could use the arcade at Inn at Silver Creek. read more

The unit we stayed in was part of our RCI reward. We didn't utilize the whole week as we were planning on being able to drive Trail Ridge Road to spend the day in Estes Park. Though our stay was short it wasn't bad at all. The place was clean and cozy(unit 32). It is a little out dated but being that these were built in the 80's it isn't bad. The only downside was the people above us were so loud and obnoxious while we were there. All night you could hear water running, stomping feet, furniture moving...hard to sleep through that. One other thing is in the shared bathroom the lighting was not the greatest. You feel like your showering in the dark; I would recommend they fix the lighting in there. The view in the morning is like a breath of fresh air, so serene and peaceful. The internet is spotty but I love that since kids nowadays are addicted to their phones. Mine especially needed to get out and explore and enjoy nature. This was a great time for them to have a electronic break. Overall, we would stay again. read more

My husband and I just got back from a week at Mountainside. We thought the service from the staff was great, and the condos were clean and comfortable. The hot tub in the unit was wonderful, especially after being out all day in the cold. The views are good, and the bed was very comfortable, although only queen size is available. We are used to a king size bed and found the bed to be too small for both of us to sleep comfortably. The 1 bdrm condo also has a pullout bed/sofa sleeper, but the pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable as the mattress is very thin. Don't recommend sleeping on the couch either as it was a bit bumpy and uncomfortable. The gas fireplace is nice and keeps the condo comfortable and warm. The hot tub cycles off and on regularly, but can be turned off at night when sleeping for peace and quiet. Walks and parking lots were kept cleared of snow and ice for safety. Carlos in the mgmt. ofc was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. His "Mountain Mixer" on Sunday nights is very helpful if you haven't been to the area before. read more

This is a OK place to stay. Not anything fancy. Do NOT leave anything behind. You will not it get it back. The front desk could not care less. They will just give you lip service and do nothing to locate and return your items. We will not be staying here again. read more
