We were storing our boat at their facility and during facility maintenance, a weed trimmer threw a rock that caused our boat's window to break. Rather than avoiding responsibility, they alerted us and paid to have the window replaced. This took a great deal of tine due to the pandemic; but, they stayed true to their word and did not charge us storage fees while we waited for the repair to be done. I discovered that some things had somehow gotten wet and that RATS had been in my stuff! Rat turds everywhere and in my boxes!!! To this they answered "Well you've been here a while". WHAT! I was so stunned by this answer that I didn't ask for a refund of the payment I had recently made. If they were like other storage facilities I have done business with, and who pro-rate, they owe me money. However with that attitude do you think they would refund it without me asking? Yeah, sure. NOT! I find out, after speaking with others, that they are far from the best around and I want to share that information. I suggest Everett Storage to you. Great people! They have 3 very clean and convenient facilities in Everett. On Rucker you can drive INSIDE on 2 levels! There is also a moving truck available. Go use one of these facilities....NOW! :)

We had rented via the UHaul website a one-day truck. It was onsite, clean and ready to roll when I…read morearrived at noon sharp. From there, the rental experience was all downhill. Realizing much of the issue was with UHaul and its procedures, and knowing the clerk was undoubtedly feeding off my frustration, as well as frustrated herself for having to follow such ludicrous directions, I've given an extra star. In a nutshell, believe it or not, despite my name, number and ID matching that of the reservation and my photo ID, I had to provide 2 references who she then called to make sure I was who i was. Neither answered because these days, rarely do people answer unknown calls, but thankfully, she accepted their voice messages as proof I existed. Also, the truck was double-booked for the next day so we were, in a roundabout way, asked to return it early. All in all, check out took 40 minutes. Check IN had to be through their website, with several photos, and with a dying phone battery and wondering how people without smart phones do it, the process took 15 minutes when it should have been a simple key drop. All in all, just shy of a full hour of bureaucracy. UHaul has lost our business.

This company and the people have been very good to us, I have rented over a decade now. They are very informative about what they do. I have read some of the negative remarks and they are really sad. It seems at times people are upset with situations that they put themselves into or that others have no control then like to blame or make bad remarks. I know for when auto payment they want you to come in, so that way they know they are dealing with the correct person and so they can have your signatures and everything. That is being a good business making sure they aren't just using anyone's cards, and making sure to have full authority to withdrawal to pay your bill. Otherwise they have several alternative ways to pay, you can even pay online yourself.
