Storage Court has taken care of my most prized personal possessions for about 4 years. They have always been very attentive to my needs and I am proud to say that all of my things today are exactly like they were when they went into storage, even with an outside access roll-up door! The climate control (in the facility near the YMCA) is all done through the floor so nothing gets too cold or hot with the seasons. Their security, care and professionalism are all first rate. I'm sorry to hear about the other reviews on here as I have rented here twice and I haven't had any problems. Location: I rent at the Van Guard location in Monroe. Pros: -They have a truck that you can rent out for move in (free) and move out (cheaper than U-Haul) -The customer service is great and they actually remember your name. Which is usually unheard of. -They call you back (I've had a lot of places not return phone calls and that can be frustrating) -The place is clean _The prices are good. I called around to get a large storage unit and this was the best one closest to the eastside. Past Experience: I'm the kind of person that asks lots of questions until I have a complete picture so it can be annoying to customer service representatives. :) This month, I was thinking of upgrading to the largest storage they have and they took the time to answer all my questions in a patient and friendly demeanor. I really appreciated that. On top of that, I had them put a hold on the unit and told them I'd call them back the next day. I totally spaced and did not call them back. That Friday, they called me (and left a voicemail since I was away from the phone) and asked me if I still wanted it since they had another interested party. I apologized and told them to give it to the interested party. They totally understand and thanked me for calling them back. read more

Our experience at Storage Court in Monroe was nothing short of exceptional. Lisa was so knowledgeable and friendly. We used the facility for a short period of time while moving to the Snohomish area and will absolutey use them again for any storage needs we have in the future. We were treated with tremendous respect, genuinely welcomed to the area, and given service that was above and beyond what you would expect. The manager is hateful and rude. Very condescending She says they go over everything but they do not. They do not have lights in the units at the annex and the rates are unbelievable. She also had the nerve to tell me my furniture was too large no one should have stuff that big. It is a storage unit. Most have doors that roll up but if you go to the annex they only open to the side and are barely big enough for a fridge to fit through. Two screws hold this in place. We asked to remove the door and replace when done. She absolutely refused so we had to rent a second unit at her other complex just to store our stuff that would have fit through the door had she let us temporarily take it off. It is my own fault for thinking that this place was good. It is absolutely not. Save your money and rent from one of the other places in Monroe. Oh yes and make sure you don't bring people to help you. We had hired a moving company (highly reputable and been in business for years) she proceeded to degrade the workers and it was atrocious!! read more

This place is the definition of atrocious. In January, my mother passed away and she had a storage unit with storage court. A few weeks later we go there to retrieve some of the things in the unit, but instead of just going inside, we inform them of what is happening. Instead of making this a quick and easy process, they put a lock on the account, so that my brother and I are not allowed in (we are the sole beneficiaries to my mother). We have no idea what's in the unit. They inform us that we can't get in the storage unit, for a number of reasons. A few months later they inform us that A) the account is overdue (even though we told them our mother has passed, they continued to bill her and give her late fees at a friends address) B) they wanted us to get more legal documentation from a lawyer stating that we are the sole heirs. Given the mess so far, we have told family members about the nightmare this place has been. After acquiring the necessary requested documentation, they say they've gotten too many calls and now don't feel comfortable allowing us access to the storage unit. Throughout this process we are acquiring late fees. Then they suggested we probate our interests with the courts, which is not cheap, once again dragging this along so they can acquire a few more months of payment. We are not in August and the manager is very rude. She has zero patients, and not shame. She is very rude and threatens to sell our mother's items, every time we talk. We still have no idea what is in the unit, and they will not let us look. We are now awaiting the documentation to retrieve ONLY the personal items, because the court costs would outweigh the value inside the storage unit. Very scummy people, and business. read more
