(Musical Theater 1, Musical Theater 2, tap 1, tap/ballet , jazz and HipHop)He went from a boy with anxiety to this confident performer. He was in his second musical Mary Poppins this past weekend. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. The show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!It's been great watching not just my son but many of the cast members just grow in theater. Thank You Mr.Frank and Mrs.Yesenia for bringing out the best in my son. He himself thanked them after the show for teaching him the songs and the choreography. All his teachers are all wonderful , Mrs.Megan , Miss. Larissa, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Jack , thank you ALL for not giving up on my son. A special shout out to Miss. Jack. Andrew wanted to try tap. Since the class has been practicing for a few months Andrew felt discouraged since they were already learning the song that they will be performing on the summer showcase. After trying the class he didn't want to continue since he was just starting and felt lost. Miss Jack told him she sees his talent and he can do it. She told him to come back the next week and try again. He tried again and he felt that he couldn't do it. Miss.Jack told him to think about it , she believes in him, if he still don't feel comfortable he can enroll after the summer showcase and start from the beginning. She was very sweet to him. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers.They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !! We can automatically tell the difference in passion and customer care he genuinely sounded caring and professional!! On the day of our trail our daughter was super excited and eager to dance just walking in we felt welcomed!! The receptionist on duty when we walked in ( I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was super sweet and informative she again helped with any concerns or questions we had. She also invited us in to see a class that was already in session to give us a preview of what we could expect. Our daughter's class that day consisted of only two other dancers which in all honesty was perfect for a trial, her instructor was able to really work with her and get to know her personally. She was so sweet and caring to our daughter. We could not be happier!!! After class we went in and introduced ourselves to her and asked her opinion on how the trial went she had all positive comments and invited us to trial her Saturday class because she felt it would be a better fit for our daughter. That to me was everything!!! She showed genuine interest in our daughter's success with the studio!!! We never felt pressured to sign a contract or pay to save a spot and that is what makes this place a true Gem!! They are very true to there advertised "family environment" all staff was beyond kind and sweet to my Mimi dancer and my little 7 month cheering on his sister. Loved this barre class! I've been doing barre for years and my very favorite studio closed a few…read moreyears ago. Since then my body has never been the same, the sculpting I had before has been almost impossible to achieve. I've been trying different barre studios and just hadn't found the one that worked my butt and legs the way my original studio had. Cassie's class finally did that. She incorporates cardio WITH the barre moves. Some studios will throw in some cardio but it's typically separate from the barre moves...the difference it makes when the cardio comes from the combination of repetitions and quick transitions is huge. My butt is so sore this morning...that's the best feeling!! She makes the class fun and the music is good, other people taking the class were super friendly. The classes are 45 minutes long and she does not waste a single minute. I love the 45 minute, go hard format. She incorporated most of the most effective moves you can do in barre. I'm in the middle of a move and only up this way a couple of day's per week right now but I'll be taking classes here every time I can. I highly recommend this studio!

We never received a welcome call or much guidance on what to expect. Thankfully, our daughter was assigned to Ms. Kaylynn, who was wonderful. She was attentive, patient, and clearly cared about her students. We were enrolled in tap and ballet, and the regular classes went smoothly. Unfortunately, once recital time approached, our experience changed. Communication dropped significantly, and there was no rehearsals for the entire showcase. As first-time dance parents, we would have appreciated an in-person or virtual parent meeting explaining what to expect. During the recital, our daughter's class froze on stage. We understand these are very young children and nerves happen, but we expected the teacher to step in, encourage them, and give them another opportunity to perform. Instead, the show simply moved on. It was heartbreaking to watch after seeing how hard the children worked. We also felt the communication became focused primarily on money. When registration renewal came around, we received calls just two days before the recital stating that our child could not participate if we didn't pay. Paying was never the issue--we had already paid for her costume, pictures, and recital tickets. It was the timing and approach that was disappointing. We rarely heard from the studio about anything else, but suddenly received multiple calls when payment was due. It left us feeling like our experience as toddler parents wasn't valued and that the focus was more on collecting money than supporting families. Picture day was also very hectic and rushed. The photographer seemed overwhelmed, and with such a tight space, I think separate picture days for younger and older dancers would have been much better. Overall, we truly enjoyed Ms. Kaylynn and the regular classes, but the recital experience, lack of communication, payment approach, and organization were disappointing. We hope the studio takes this feedback seriously and creates a more supportive experience for its youngest dancers and their families.
