I have not had too many problems with the facility but they keep raising the storage cost. I believe that the last was just a few months ago and now they sent me another notice. It is an additional ~$100 per year after another ~$100 per year. You may see a promo price on the internet but they will get you in an start raising the storage cost thinking you have no choice but to pay it. I will be searching and complaining to the management regarding this but they have turned a deaf ear to most every request I have ever made. Read the other reviews on this location. : I use the Move-It Storage at 15725 Hwy 29, Liberty Hill Texas. This is the cleanest and best run storage unit that I've ever used and I've used a lot during 20 years of military and after retiring in 1994. The manager, Talia, should be commended for her excellent customer service, friendliness with patrons and always wanting to make everything better. We have had a storage unit at this location for two years. Unfortunately when I went into the office to have them fix the latch on the door because I can neither open or close it, I was told that it would be three months before they could fix it. Poor customer service. read more

ok so this is what went down with the u haul reservation, I had a deal to move from liberty hill to burnet at 29.99 for a 17" they didn't have so gave me a 20 ft instead at same price as 17 ft then told me 89cents a mile and gave me a 89 mile limit which I came under the milage, then they charged me for a one way 149 + all the fees, I was told 110 was the amount, then they say it is coming up 199 but no worries they will adjust it at the place you drop it off, not!!!! the guy at the place I dropped it off states she was incorrect, it was the 199 what ever she put in and states she is new not really savy on how to enter the info on computer so the consumer has to suffer the price hike, not u haul be very wary of this business new inexperienced people can cost you 80 dollars over the estimated price read more

BEWARE If zero stars were available, I'd have chosen it. We have been customers for over six years and we have learned, there are far more honorable storage choices in the Liberty Hill area. If you choose to entrust your vaulables to Move-It Self Storage, you can exppect the following: - Untrustworthy site "managers" - No "manager" available for payment until late fees are assessed - "Manager" turn-over rate about every 60 days - "Manager" not checking payment drop box and leaving numerous rude and snarky messages on your voicemail demanding payment - Countless payments not being credited to your account - An unwillingness to remove wrongfully assessed penalties - If your credit card is ever used there, they keep it on file and run it monthly without permission no matter how many times you demand they stop. Sometimes, they'll do it even though your bill is already paid by other means - Random and unjust gate lock-outs; usually before holidays. This has happened four times - Numerous "over locks" (where they padlock your unit for non-payment) even though your bill is paid. Normally, before holidays. I bet this has happened 10 times - Expect numerous 'Intent To File Lien' letter, even though your account is current. Fees and fines are ridiculously punitive - When you go in person to attempt to settle the matter of the lien, expect the district manager to yell at you, storm around the counter and point his finger and scream in your face that "We don't make mistakes. If the computer says you're a dead-beat and owe money then, you're a dead-beat. It isn't our fault you're a dead-beat. Maybe you should pay your bills." Then, when you present a letterhead reciept showing payment was made, expect to be laughed at and told, "That doesn't mean SHIT. You could have printed that on your computer." No kidding....this happened. - After all of this, if you complain to a regional "manager", expect them to completely disregard your concerns/complaints and blindly defend the company. All the while, not waiving the unsubstantiated fees and penalties This place is like nothing I have experienced anywhere. Totally unbelievable. The only reason we have not relocated is, time. We don't have much of it. However, after this last bout with Move-It, we're DONE. We will store our stuff in our living room before I allow us to be treated this way any longer. Move-It is not a storage facility. They are, at best, very disorganized or most likely, an unethical enterprise disguised as loan shark muscle. They are bullies and this is the most corrupt company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Screw these people. I hope they go out of business.
