Our landlord was selling our current apartment and we were tired of renting. Don't ask because I won't tell you which companies due to the day and age we live in. But one went through the quick approval process for the mortgage and said sorry but you don't qualify due to the minimum credit score required for your application. I knew this wasn't true so I said ok fine. Talked to the next company that we liked and after about 3 weeks they denied us through an email not even a call. Next we had a family member advise us to call KIM RIDDELL AND REGENCY MORTGAGE. Kim Riddell told us up front that we might not qualify but we at least will know what is wrong and I meaning Kim would tell us what to do to fix it and about how long before it gets fixed. We started the process and were denied; my wife and I of course got depressed. But Kim said don't worry that was the automated we are not done yet. At this point as she says "she rolled up her sleeves" started to dig into why I was denied. She found out the reason I was denied we went through a few weeks of calls, and emails. Paperwork requests signatures explanations of what was happening next etc. After we gave Kim the paperwork she requested in an timely manner we were preapproved. You heard me after being denied twice recently and as many as about 4 to 5 times over the course of 5 years Kim got us pre-approved. But the hard work wasn't done and everytime I mean everytime we had an question via cell phone or email kim called us back in an very timely manner. We eventually found the house of our dreams went through more paperwork and closed late last month. ALL BECAUSE OF THE HARD WORK KIM RIDDELL and the fact she said no if you are going to deny these people I want to know why. If I can ever do business with Kim I would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, that technology is not at all friendly or forgiving. All is fine until you add complexity to the situation and need hand holding. I've closed on 30+ mortgages in my life, have owned dozens of properties and this was by far my least favorite closing experience. When things went sideways the implementation team was literally afraid to bring in the boss (Shant) for assistance causing multiple delays all they up to the night before the first scheduled closing. We eventually got it done but the underwriting process was absolutely ridiculous. Here is one example; the underwriters required an official letter from my employer on company letterhead and signed by HR describing the frequency of my annual bonus. Really?? In summary, very nice people but not the best experience. Good Luck.

They matched me with United Wholesale Group and told me that the mortgage would be sold BEFORE the first payment was made... Well, it was sold by United Wholesale Group to a subsidiary of theirs Shore Mortgage. Look up Shore Mortgage, I think my 7 year old could design a better, more complex and secure website and they charge you $7.50/mo to make a payment on the internet unless you fill out paperwork for withdrawals the same date each day of the month. I have left many messages with Shore demanding the loan be sold to a "real institution" and I have not had any resolution as of yet. The closing attorney was supposed to HOLD the check for 3 business days, rescind clause in New Hampshire but deposited the check the same day as the closing. Calls to his office, 2 of them to figure out what was going on were surprisingly never returned. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!
