Movement X is an innovative approach to physical therapy. They are very flexible with scheduling, early morning, available on weekends and will also come to your home. They never rush your appt or overbook, you receive the best care possible. Highly skilled PTs, very knowledgeable. I've had poor experiences with PT clinics. Every appt with Movement X has been wonderful. Clear communication, one-on-one personal care, fast and easy billing, they really care about their patients and also their staff. The staff is very friendly and happy. Especially with the stress of recent times it's become very important to me to support great employers. I've been seeing Kirsten for years, she is the best PT I've had. She's very knowledgeable and explains the source of the pain. She customizes plans that are achievable for you to do at home. She includes emailed images of exercise and has also given me a yoga flow that I requested for my specific issues. She is very thorough and meticulous, with amazing results. I initially came to her for plantar fasciitis, after failed surgery, PT somewhere else and podiatrists, she was the only one who got rid of the pain through manual therapy and exercises to strengthen the weak muscles. I had a shoulder u u for more than 7 years! I have tried everything possible Doctors, Acqapunture, Japanese massage, deep tissue, chiropractors, and Physical therapy! Nothing worked out with me specially physical therapy!! Providence suggested their own physical so I have tried it and it was awful. My pain was almost 8 out of 10! I'm not someone who generally writes reviews, but my experience with Dr. Liz Ruegg has been so positive that I made an exception. I started working with Liz about a year ago to address pain and lack of mobility in my shoulder. It was very apparent from the beginning that she was knowledgeable, empathetic, professional, and attentive. Additionally, I always felt she was maximizing our time, which hasn't been the case with past therapists. What I appreciate the most was the way she used a holistic approach; this gave me a new awareness and appreciation of how everything is interconnected. I believe this approach and thoughtful customized home exercises were why I experienced such quick results. My shoulder and I benefited so much from working with Liz that later I went back to her again for a hip issue which is also improving under her guidance. MovementX changed my perception of how physical therapists work with their patients. I was so use to going into a PT location, meet with a physical therapist once, and then transferred to a PT student, who just follows an exercise plan; something I could do from home. MovementX, Kristin Kupras in particular, comes to your home, and during Covid that was a plus, listens to you about your specific issues, provides deep tissue work, and an exercise plan to fit that week's issues. She works with you on that exercise plan so that you're doing it right before she heads out the door. During following visits she listens to your improvements and modifies the deep tissue work and exercise plans. Kristen is a great listener. She knows what she's talking about, and clearly wants to see you improve! Throw out your old ways of seeing PT help and switch to MovementX and Kristen! read more

I have had two PT sessions with Liz thus far, and I cannot say enough about the positive care I have received. Keaton has been a blessing for me. The consummate professional, and so knowledgeable. Last October I broke my leg - compound fracture of the tibia and fractured fibula, resulting in 2 surgeries, 10 weeks of a full leg brace that allowed no bending of my knee or ankle. I had 12 physical therapy sessions at OHSU and started back at my gym in January. Even though I was walking, I wasn't walking right. By August I was growing frustrated because I wasn't improving the way I thought I should be. Keaton partners with my gym, and I decided to try more physical therapy. Dr. Keaton Ray is such a caring, thorough, and professional physical therapist. During my first consultation, she went above and beyond by spending time with me and asking me questions about my history of pain, my health, and daily habits. I told her I have been through many PT's since I've had multiple back surgeries and do not want to waste my time with any beginner exercises that I already know. I left with some great exercises and she even met me at my gym in my weight lifting class to observe me as I did the class. This was A HUGE help because she took notes during the class, and after, we sat for half an hour going over her notes and recommendations. I have worked with Kirsten K for just over a year for shoulders, knees and low back. Her anatomical knowledge is stellar. I am back to a normal life that includes jogging, weightlifting and chasing grandkids around. She is now working on some scar tissue from a 30 year old injury. Wow! Keaton Ray is an AMAZING PT. She is knowledgeable, an expert in her field, compassionate, flexible with her appointments and always available for questions. My neck had been hurting for several weeks. I came into Keaton's office a little sceptical as other attempts from another massage therapist had not helped. Keaton was able to get me in right away and after about 30 minutes I was able to have full movement in my neck again. She was very professional and extremely good at what she does.
