I needed an unpacking team and Moving & Maintenance came through!! The flat rate was within my budget and that was a plus. Everything was coordinated with Richard. I AM SO GLAD I CHOSE THIS CREW!! I have moved several times in my life, and thought I had done well in preparation. However, I had forgot to wrap a few things and also forgot about blankets. These guys showed up, wrapped everything and even offered to let me use their blankets. They were not the cheapest option, but not the most expensive either. MMOD was great to work with! They showed up when they said they would (within 30 minutes) and took great care of my stuff. We managed to move the 2 bedroom apartment in about 5 hours including loading and unloading. They did scratch the legs of a dresser, have a small ding in a doorway, and break a plant pot, but that was the best luck I've had so far with moving! The price was great compared to the competition! I'll definitely give them a call next time I move, but hopefully that's quite a while! read more

Drew and his team are the best! When I do another move, I'll be sure to call them first. I went back and forth looking for a mover and Drew was not only timely but had the best bang for my buck. My partner and I had packed our 2 U-Boxes about a week and a half ago by ourselves and we had Drew and his team unpack it and load everything onto their truck. My partner and I are not expert packers so we really appreciated how Drew was very calculated with taking everything out of the box and made sure nothing was damaged. Drew and his team came fully prepared and even provided extra wrap and padding for our valuables to ensure that all items got to the new location unscathed. I booked and paid the deposit for my move 4 weeks in advance. 2 weeks before my move I was told that they double booked and wanted to reschedule my move to the next day. This was not possible as I had to turn in my keys the next day. My apt management agreed to give me keys before they opened and we moved my time up by 1.5hrs on the originally scheduled day. At ~3:30pm the day before my move day I received a text that their job that day went long and they could not do my move and rescheduled it for the next day. No option given to do it later in the day, just told me they rescheduled me. My move only required 2 movers and no truck as my move was within the same building. They said that they had 2 trucks fully loaded and could not have anyone available to move me on my scheduled day. Moving the next day did not work at all as I had to turn in my keys. I had to mass call multiple moving companies until I found one that had availability. Moving is stressful and then having a company cancel my move the day before made it worse. Their communications was respectful but their organization and reliability is lacking. 6th Man Movers saved my moving day so go check them out. read more

Johnny, his assistant, was fantastic as well. My son was actually the client they were moving and he said he would hang out with them all day! Wow!! I am so impressed with these movers. I would recommend them to every single friend and family in the area. They were SO kind and polite! If you want great service and your items to be in the same condition at your new place, this company has got you covered. They did a great job placing all the items in the Uhaul. I'm very pleased with this crew. The only negative I have (not really a negative) is that I felt they REALLY took their time. I had the house completely packed up and everything disassembled and organized and it took 4 people, 3 hours to load it in the truck. I didn't have a lot of furniture at all and I could have loaded it with a buddy in an 1hr and 30 min. I didn't even have them touch my garage, or it would have taken two days. So again, if you want fast service, this company isn't the one. If you want great service, I'd recommend these guys, but you're going to pay for it! At the end of the day, THIS CREW WAS GREAT!! read more

Drew and John helped my husband and I move into our new apartment in Antioch. They were attentive, efficient, and kind. They showed up earlier than they told me they would show up to make sure we got to our superbowl party on time. They put everything together and in the right rooms immediately and they actually treated us like humans. We hired a moving company the day before and they weren't as friendly and seemed to judge us (apartment was messy due to having kids). The other moving company was also supposed to help us pack and they never did. Drew and John went above and beyond on everything they did for us. If you want a reference to their personalities and who they are as people, here's one: my daughter Alice doesn't like most people and can tend to be really shy.
