My name is Jennifer Patterson. I've been on the phone & searching the internet for almost 6 weeks to find what only God has blessed me with tonight. I found Moving & Maintenance on Demand, Murfreesboro, Tn., thru the internet just as I was about to walk away from everything. I'm the victim of bank fraud & have been evicted from my apartment bc of course I can no longer pay my rent. I'm 52 & draw disability due to a very bad marriage to an even worse husband. My body is broken although today my legs allow me to support myself, w/o warning they are my worst enemy, not allowing me to stand, let a lone walk & that paralysis may last a couple hours, or at my longest experience, 2 weeks completely dependent on my walker & / or wheelchair. This only happens when I push through my back pain & leg weakness, thinking it will make me stronger. However, I do more damage. I could go on about my health & bad luck, or whatever, whoever wants to call it. I say all the above to say this... It's just me having to move & absolutely no way to do it by myself. I've saved, scrimped, went without & some more to have the nice things I have. I've come all long way in realities that I won't get into, but my current situation damn near had me resigned to walk away from all my hard work, sleepless nights, hunger pains, tears & more. While speaking to Drew, owner of MMOD, MOVING AND MAINTENANCE ON DEMAND in MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEE, I didn't tell him all this. I explained my situation in much, much less detail than I have here. I explained to him concerning my bank account & disability in very little detail, only specifying that I was going through a nightmare. He actually listened like I was talking to a true friend. He didn't judge me or exhale at me as if I was boring him. I had already found a storage unit just a few miles from me that is a God send. I just needed a truck & a couple good dudes to help me load & unload. In any move you're looking at insurance, gas, hourly labor, truck rental, furniture wrapping & blankets, tools & gadgets to take apart furniture & take things off your walls you drilled in so tightly it would be the only thing standing after a Tsunami. Com'on now. We all do it. Drew has the exact tool needed so that, that precious item stays in tact & moves gracefully with you to your next home. I'm trying to be a bit jovial right now bc during my conversation with Drew, I openly wept. I couldn't tell you the last time I shed a tear. Not bc I'm heartless, not out of sadness, but of gratitude & gratefulness. My pride was never a question, nor who I am or where I came from. This business MAN is not only a businessman, he is a family oriented & God fearing man. I keep going about him & his business because in large, Drew saved my life tonight. All I needed was a truck & a couple of good guys to help me move my life 8 minutes up the road in a financial capacity I could afford. Moved last month but things are just settling down enough to get to this review. Great crew. I couldn't have asked for nicer people or a more professional experience. They were there when scheduled, were able to add a truck within the last week when I changed my mind about getting our own, and were absolute gems. I wasn't feeling well when they came (nothing they were going to catch), and they were empathetic and kept making me sit down and rest while they took care of everything with a smile and super calming demeanors. I actually texted the owner 30 minutes in because I was so grateful and impressed by this crew. Their "moveside manner" was superb, you couldn't ask for better. They seriously had the most calming presence, so unheard of but so necessary in an industry where clients are often overextended and stressed due to the nature of moving. T&S, you rock, all the best to you. Such a joy to meet such amazing people in this world, doing their best and taking care of others like amazing human beings. I could not have been more pleased with my experience with MMOD. From start to finish, Drew and his team were professional, friendly, and efficient. To start, Drew was easy to reach and gave a fare quote for his services, with a clear bottom line. He set clear expectations for his service, and then delivered. Shelley and Tremaine were INCREDIBLE! They treated my furniture with immense care, they were very kind and accommodating, and they somehow made moving day feel fun. They did a great job fitting all of my stuff into my storage unit, and even came back after I had let them go to help me get it shut when I was having an issue with the door, which was VERY helpful! Recently moved long distance. Pricing was really fair and communication was excellent. Drew and his crew showed up on time, were prepared and jumped right in. My job calculated to be less time than their requirement, but they still accepted the job.
