***THERES ALWAYS AN EXCEPTION TO A RULE WHEN ITS LIFE OR DEATH*** OWNER... Larry Reed - BAD BUSINESS!!! I paid $1000 for a service that was NEVER PROVIDED! I hired Mr. Reed, to do a service for my daughter's wedding, which didn't happen due to her husband's mother passing well before the planned date in June! I cancelled with Moving Memories, giving Mr. Reed OVER 100 days notice, ALONG with offering him to keep $250 (out of Good-Will). Again, NO SERVICES were provided, as in, he did NOTHING!!! I NEVER gave him 1-photo or ANYTHING!!! When I asked for a refund, Mr. Reed's EXACT response was (as he chuckled), "I'm sorry for your loss, but I don't give refunds, I'm happy to give you 5-yrs of cloud storage though"!!! I told him, "NO! I DON'T want cloud storage!!" AND, there was NOTHING in the contract that said "No refunds"! ...At the end of the day, he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; except keep my $$, & pour salt in our very deep wounds, as we mourn through our loss! "WHERES THE EMPATHY OR COMPASSION , Mr. Reed"??? AND WHY did you NOT inform that you had a no-refund policy, verbally OR in your executed contract? Was there hidden fine print somewhere? Should I post that NEXT??? Below are Pics from the OUT OF STATE Emergency wedding,,put together in 3 days, so groom's mother could be present for her & her son's day of a lifetime. We flew our entire family to AZ, which was very costly! But such an honor since mom wasn't going to make it to June, for original wedding that was canceled. Groom's mom was removed from hospice for 6hrs to be part of the ceremony held inside her home. Immediately following, she was placed back into hospice, where she passed, just days later. We now live in TX, where our entire family just relocated. I informed Reed of this well in advance prior to purchasing his package, informing there'd NEVER be need for his "Free 5yr Web Storage". Ha! FREE??? Oh & BTW... Let's NOT try to save face by bringing the LORD into your bad attempt to look holier than thou! I've taught BIBLE STUDY over 25yrs & it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!! Since YOU went there, you should then know better since there's several books n the Bible, referencing those who use HIS HOLY name in VAIN, & take scripture out of context for their selfish GAIN/GREED. Ohhhh, & filing a lawsuit attempt to collect an extra $7000?? That's SO godly! Actually, I think that's called, hypocrisy. YOU MR. Reed did a BAD thing! I went here 1 week before Mother's Day, hoping for a place that could quickly transfer my families DVD home videos to an updated USB/electronic option. I was greeted immediately with incredibly professional and friendly service, provided multiple options, and they got my order ready in time to give as a Mother's Day gift. We are extremely excited about receiving our digitized wedding from VHS. Lucas went above and beyond expectations!!! We are very Thankful to be able to share our wedding video with family and especially our boys. My biggest recommendation is to bring your treasured memories to Moving Memories as soon as possible!!! I had a several High 8, DVM60, and VHS tapes of memories that I finally decided to convert digitally, having no idea where the camcorders were to replay them. Some tapes were as old as 34 years. Moving Memories came highly recommended through the Nextdoor App so I decided to use them. Jack Bennett completed our conversion and man are we extremely grateful to recover these memories. Moving Memories was extremely fast, professional and explained to me the process along with what I was paying for. I needed it before Christmas and they received my pile of tapes the last week of November. Everything came out great, my tapes were labeled and cross referenced with the DVD's and flash drive. I was looking to convert a vhs tape to a dvd for my sister quickly. I google searched local businesses and called Larry. He was the most gracious guy. He listened to what I needed and reassured me that he could convert the tape overnight. I thanked him and drove to drop it off at the shop. Upon arrival, this is a very cute shop with old school looking cameras and video recording devices placed around quite cleverly. The two young men that helped me at the desk already knew my situation and were so kind and quick. The quality of the recording is excellent. I am so thrilled to get to share this with my sister. The process of preserving family memories can be a daunting process. I was so glad our son recommended that we go to Moving Memories to have my dad's film reels from his first camera preserved. Larry was very helpful, and throughout the process Eric was great each time I called with questions or adding items to our order. I had about 4500 slides to be digitize, mostly in carousels. It took a while (about the amount of time they told me) but they did a great job and subdivided the work into separate files with the carousel names so it was easy to get them in order. I thought the service and quality was good and the price was very reasonable for so many slides. read more

My wife came up with an idea for our children for Christmas. She went through boxes of photographs to put into a video. After contacting Moving Memories and discussing what we wanted to do i took the photos in. We went over what we wanted and the era of music to be included. The video turned out great and we had two copies made as well. We just happened to put one of the copies in to play and it would unfortunately freeze up at points. Being very concerned about having one of our gifts to our children not functioning properly I called to explain what was happening. They were very helpful. Turns out that one of their machines was malfunctioning. Ryan said they would make two new copies and have them ready in about an hour. Talk about service in a day and age of lacking response. I would highly recommend this business due to the end product but even more so to prompt helpful response of Eric and Ryan when we did have an issue. I DO NOT recommend this company! I selected them to digitize my family slides dating from the 1940's to the 1970's as well as 13 cassettes to be converted to DVDs. We met with Larry Reed the owner who assured us they could complete this in 6 to 8 weeks. We foolishly paid the full amount of the invoice in full. That was on June 1st, 2018. I finally received the final product in mid-March of 2019. Ten long frustrating months of dealing with them. They simply could not get the slides converted properly. There were months and months of delays, excuses and many broken promises to get the final DVD to me. My husband and I finally took the flash drive they had and spent hours and hours reorganizing and naming the slides. WE were the ones that delivered back to them the flash drive that could finally be properly converted to a DVD. Their customer service is atrocious! read more
