Avoid this place like the plague!…read more It's curious that (as of writing this) there are 24 filtered one-star reviews for this place. I've dealt with them twice--two times too many. The first time they were contracted to perform a simple fix on my Nikon camera body. After estimating a two-week turnaround (in time for a deadline I informed them of) two weeks quickly became three then four. Every time I called they assured me they were just waiting for a part that would come in that week. This excuse continued for three months, at which point I was just happy to rescue my camera. Foolishly, I went to them again recently, naively thinking that perhaps the parts issue was out of their control, only to realize that they specialize in making excuses. I had a few lenses and another camera body which required repair estimates--pretty straightforward stuff. It literally took three weeks and an in-person visit to finally procure the estimate and to get my gear back. Their customer service is non-existent by phone or email. On at least five separate occasions when I was able to get someone on the phone they would put me in hold purgatory, hanging up on me after 40+ minute hold times. After being ignored and hung up on, I eventually resorted to attempting to contact them by email once a day for a simple status update. Again, no response. Peeking around their office it's clear that they are completely disorganized. For a facility dealing with sensitive camera gear it looks dirty. The last time I was there, the woman at the desk knocked over a tower of boxes containing their customer's equipment, shrugging it off by saying, "I knew that was going to happen sooner or later." She also lied to my face about emailing me an estimate that wasn't even ready when I paid the in-person visit. I won't make the mistake of giving these people another penny ever again. Their lack of customer care is abhorrent. You're better off spending a few more dollars and heading to Mike's or your local camera shop, even if they just ship it off to the manufacturer.

How do you put a job where you spent 6 days on a resume??? Additionally, I had to significantly cut back on hours at my other job to take this opportunity. I was not able to get all of my shifts back after my temp job was over. Through this process Aimhire cost me both time and money; I would never recommend this agency to anyone. My word of advice to anyone who uses this company, be careful and have a backup plan! Aimhire will do what it takes to staff a position but at the cost of its employees.

I showed them a link through the shipping provider to change the delivery address; I was more than willing to be billed the difference to do so but never responded. By the time I got an acquaintance to pick up the package it was gone. It is not their responsibility for the packages safety once leaving their hands, but a courtesy email to see if the mailing address provided 4 months before was still good would have been appreciated. I can expect a lab to take a month at most when thinking if an address is solid for that time, but not 4 and not without a timeline from the lab on how long the delay will be. The people here provide a great service and great results, but I wasn't given any apology or recourse. I only wish them to improve because we all love shooting film and they make it easier.

I NEVER gave him 1-photo or ANYTHING!!! When I asked for a refund, Mr. Reed's EXACT response was (as he chuckled), "I'm sorry for your loss, but I don't give refunds, I'm happy to give you 5-yrs of cloud storage though"!!! I told him, "NO! I DON'T want cloud storage!!" AND, there was NOTHING in the contract that said "No refunds"! ...At the end of the day, he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; except keep my $$, & pour salt in our very deep wounds, as we mourn through our loss! "WHERES THE EMPATHY OR COMPASSION , Mr. Reed"??? AND WHY did you NOT inform that you had a no-refund policy, verbally OR in your executed contract? Was there hidden fine print somewhere? Should I post that NEXT??? Below are Pics from the OUT OF STATE Emergency wedding,,put together in 3 days, so groom's mother could be present for her & her son's day of a lifetime. We flew our entire family to AZ, which was very costly! But such an honor since mom wasn't going to make it to June, for original wedding that was canceled. Groom's mom was removed from hospice for 6hrs to be part of the ceremony held inside her home. Immediately following, she was placed back into hospice, where she passed, just days later. We now live in TX, where our entire family just relocated. I informed Reed of this well in advance prior to purchasing his package, informing there'd NEVER be need for his "Free 5yr Web Storage". Ha!
