I wish she would have given me some more idea on how to pose (because like I said, the camera hates me), but I should have been more upfront and asked her for assistance - i'm sure she would have been a great help. Our family of 6 arrived at our arranged location at the scheduled time, but Jessica never showed up. She called me AFTER I sent her a text asking if she was on her way. She stated she had injured herself and would not be able to take our photos as planned. She stated she LOST my contact information and thus wasn't able to let me know in advance. She called another photographer who offered to meet us for $400! Obviously there is a reason she is advertising for new clients on Weekly Plus! Save yourself the hassle and keep looking!

I was recently in Denver from LA to shoot a corporate video. I was having a hard time finding a…read moregood photo/film rental place in the area until I came across Doxica Productions on yelp. I was honestly surprised at how nice and helpful Nathan (the owner) was. He's incredibly knowledgable about photography and film, extremely accommodating, and just a cool dude. He helped me get everything that I needed worked with me and was also WAY CHEAPER than the competitors in the area. The other places in Denver I found either were quadruple the price of here or didn't have much to choose from. However, Doxica had everything that I needed for my shoot. I rented some DSLR's, a lav, transmitter/receiver, zoom audio recorder, Kino-flow kit and some C-stands (and they have a lot more to choose from). All the equipment was in pristine condition and he went through everything with me and explained how to use the sound equipment that I hadn't touched in years. I also forgot to add in C-Stands for my shoot and he threw them in for free. Then he gave me his cell phone number in case I had any troubles, to call him (I couldn't figure out the receiver and he answered and helped right away.) This was hands down the best rental house experience I've ever had (LA included). I don't normally do many Yelp reviews but I felt obligated to after having such a positive experience and hope other people do too and go here for their production needs. I'll definitely be back next time I shoot in Denver. Friendly service, great equipment, cheap prices, and a local business. No brainer.
