I have been using Mowing R Us for a few months now shortly after moving into my new house. My next door neighbor told me they were using them and said they were very happy with the quality of the service and their fair pricing. I am happy to say that I am also very pleased with Mowing R Us. The quality and thoroughness of the mowing of my lawn has been excellent. And David from their office is very professional, cordial and accommodating. I had them remove the mulch from my landscape beds which I replaced with lava stones to enhance the look of my home and to eliminate a habitat condition (the mulch) that insect pests thrive in. They also expertly and efficiently removed a newly planted tree from my backyard that unfortunately didn't make it through our typical hot Texas summer. Great job guys! Thank you! Hired this company to mow my yard explaining that the previous company of seven years quit mowing the entire yard and it was uneven. They came the first time and barely edged. Grass was still on the sidewalk. I sent several emails with no response. The second week they came they did not mow the whole property again or edge correctly. Thdy then blew the grass all over my front porch and flower beds rather than away from the property. They mowed on Monday and it hardly looked mowed. I sent several emails with no response. I decided to cancel the service after calling. There was no attempt to remedy the situation other than ask why I cancelled weekly mowing after two mows. The new company that came today mowed again stating the grass was extremely high. I mowed it again today, 3 days later. I should not have to do that. I agree with other reviews. Rude and disrespectful, hung up on me on the phone twice just because I called the wrong number, then when I wrote a complaint message to them about being rude on the message site, they proceeded to call me 6 times in a row from different numbers I had to keep blocking, I can only imagine from hearing the awful angry man on the phone that he was calling me to cuss me out, I got 6 calls from different numbers in a row and when I started blocking them he called from 2 unknown numbers which my iPhone fortunately allows me to block as well even if the number does not show up. I see here that others have complained about the company completely destroying their yards as well...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM IF THEY WERE THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH!!! read more

we have had this company for at least six months and they have completely destroyed our yard. They have destroyed all of our lighting and constantly blow the leaves and trash in our pool. It has caused us major problems with our equipment. they constantly skip mowing on time. They tried to come into our community on July 4, but we're turned away by Security. They mowed our lawn twice in one week multiple times and charged us double. Mark who am I spoke with wanted to get into an altercation with me and verbally abuse me over the phone in front of my wife. I would not recommend this company as they have done a horrible job, and we have just been too busy to switch companies until now. When somebody wants to fight you and call you names, I wouldn't recommend. Even when I told him I was recording the phone call. He continued to pour on the insults. All we were trying to do is cancel since they refused to only mow our yard one time a week. They have also mowed down our birds of Paradise, which were very expensive. They mowed into our palm tree and our rose of Sharon tree. They have done over $1000 worth of damage to our property. read more

The business was quick to respond to a request for an estimate and followed through with an appt but they barely made two passes through my backyard when they mowed. They said no removal, mowed around sticks and limbs rather than throwing them onto the existing pile and did no edging. Both side yards were ignored though they did storm ditch in front. They dont mention a two service minimum for setting up your account until you cancel. Truly poor quality service and no offer to correct it since they plan to charge me again for the second service for cancelling. Sixty bucks for 15 minute mow job that barely covers a third of my yard. read more
