We'd been having a problem with mud daubers coming into our house, so I requested them come and see if they can find where they're potentially coming from. Our technician (I think his name was Trey, I'm horrible with names) came in, sprayed the basewall of the house, and didn't really say much about the issue. Afterwards he worked on the outside of the house, but I can at the very least tell that he missed a nest that I specifically told him about, and left without saying a word. (again, was expecting him to come in and give the run down of what he did / found, contacted cs and they left a note for the next technician to do this before leaving) We'll see if the issue still persists and probably call for a follow up if it does. At the very least customer service is quick and helpful with their response, and I'll update this review if the problem does not persist *update: They responded to our review with a follow up regarding the services provided. I received a call from Mike explaining what happened, and got a lesson in pests which was nice because googling was not as helpful as it could be. Trey came back and this time was more thorough with explaining to us what was going on, so pretty much my complaints were addressed.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

We were given a long report with pictures and recommendations which we submitted to our builder for warranty repair. Paul cut no corners and we plan on referring him to our neighbors who needs the first inspection and/or their 11 month.

We used CitiTurf for the summer of 2014. I sometimes travel for work so the summers that I am going to be travelling a lot I usually hire a lawn service. This summer was a little different in that we were relocating and I wanted to get my house ready for being on sale. I hired CitiTurf because they had all of the services i was looking for weekly mowing, weed treatment, hedge trimming and flower bed clean-up and mulching. All of the prices for the work were reasonable and I received weekly statements outlining the work and charges for the proceeding week. The work was great the weeding and bed clean-up were fantastic, we have some unusual plants in our gardens and have had trouble with yards services in the past pulling out some plants thinking they were weeds in the past. CitiTurf crews were knowledgeable of the differences and none of the garden plants were pulled only the weeds. The weed control was great as well the weeds in the lawn were under control in just a few weeks and this was accomplished at the height if the summer heat/water restrictions. The hedge trimming was done well too. I have no complaits about any of the work they did for me. In addition to great work the crews that come out are very efficient and complete their work quickly. It's not just one guy and mower that comes out it's a crew of three or four that can mow my yard in about 30 minutes. This is great for my family since we have a dog that gets a little worked up when there are strangers around. The quick work limits the time he would be agitated. the only drawback fro me was that my house sold quickly so that my relationship with CitiTurf was only a few months, I wish i had called them in the past instead of the lawn services I did use. I had thought that with their large crews and fleet of vehicles they would be expensive which is not the case at all. So if you want a lawn service that does great work, works quickly, is on time, communicates/responds to you as a customer, reasonably priced and provides all of the lawn services you would need choose CitiTurf you will not be disappointed. I could not be any more satisfied with the prices and work provided by CitiTurf. read more

Made the switch to CitiTurf about 6 weeks ago and was immediately impressed. My old service just wasn't getting it done and the appearance of my yard was suffering - grass growing around fenceposts, into garden beds, into tree rings, uneven edging along sidewalks and curbs, and most of all it seemed the grass was cut to a different height every week - never any consistency. Enter CitiTurf who I made fully aware of my gripes and pet peeves about how my yard should appear. They listened and I have yet to find anything to complain about. My yard has not looked this good since I used to maintain it myself a 3-4 years ago. With my old lawn service, I used to have to inspect the work on a weekly basis, complain constantly about what was not being done by their crew, and more often than not I'd find myself in my yard every few weeks pulling bermuda out of beds, rings, from under the fence, etc. When CitiTurf took over I walked my yards the first 2 weeks they mowed and realized that wasn't necessary anymore. Their work is meticulous and my lawn has never looked better. The value and quality in relation to the cost is more than competitive. And they are very informative if and when there is a delay due to weather or other factors. Right now, I truly believe I'd be hard pressed to find a better lawn service than CitiTurf. These guys are great. They charge me the same price as my last two lawn companies that used to do our yard but they do a much better job! They always come on the same day of the week(except the one day it actually rained last year!) and they dont let my dog out of the gate like my last service did. I had a sprinkler sticking up in my back yard and they did break it. I know those things happen but they did fixed it right away. And they even lowered the sprinkler so its not a hazard sticking out of the ground anymore (-: Hi Crystal W! If you are a real cititurf customer you should definitely give them a call and they will take care of your problems. They answer the phone and take care of my needs very fast and they are very pleasant to deal with. In a year and a half I have called in 3 or 4 times and they have answered my call every time except once. and that one time they actually called me back! My last company never called me back! If you don't believe me call them right now and I bet you'll hear "Cititurf this is.....(PERSON'S NAME)......." I bought my first home last summer. I admit to having zero experience with taking care of a yard (and zero desire to do it myself), so I had gone online and read countless reviews on various sites. After seemingly endless research, I hired CitiTurf for lawn mowing services. I love that I didn't have to lock-in to a long-term contract. Since last summer, I have also hired CitiTurf for Lawn Fertilization/Weed Control and Hedge Trimming services. They make working with them so easy - if I need to add or change (or delay) a service, I can do it very easily either via phone or email and it's always handled correctly the 1st time. The other night, I was pleasantly surprised to arrive home from work to find a sign from my HOA that I had won "Yard of the Month"!! How fun! I always did the fertilizing for our lawn. I was weary of trying a company...and paying for them. But after all of my hard work (hours of weeding even though I had fertilized) and purchases of fertilizer, we decided it was time to give a professional a try. A friend recommended CitiTurf and we have never regretted using them. For the first time since we moved into our home (6 years ago) I do not have to spend hours of precious time picking at weeds that my fertilizer didn't get. We have been using CitiTurf for our nearly 1/4 of acre fully landscaped yard over the past 4 years. They do an excellent job and always keep me informed of any rain delays, ending season lawn service, and beginning season lawn service. We have used them to trim trees as well. Numersous times I have had my credit card company reissue cards when they think that my account has been compromised. Cititurf has always continued to service my lawn and has always been understanding when a charge did not go through because I forgot to let them know the new credit card information. I cannot express enough how wonderful CitiTurf is. My son became too busy with work and school to do the yard work and I am unable to do it alone so I was searching for someone to do it for me. Cititurf was recommended to us from a friend, and they have been great! Look, anyone can mow a yard, but to do it cleanly, leave good lines, mow different directions, tight edges... that's hard. They do a great job everytime, and I've seen them take equipment out of their trucks to "fix" a spot here or there that wasn't perfect after they had cleaned up. They CARE about doing a good job, and it shows. I'm VERY happy with their service, and I'll never give anyone else a try. I'm a customer for life. @CW - I'm not sure you have the right company. I've been using Cititurf for many years including two homes. I haven't experienced customer service like these guys from any other service I use in any category. They just get it done with a great attention toward the customer. They don't pressure you, their cost is very reasonable, their employees stick around, they come as scheduled and if there is a rain delay, they contact you with your method of choice to let you know (email, phone, etc.). I have used Citi Turf since 2009 and they have provided exceptional service every year! The price is reasonable and their staff is always courteous and professional. Without a doubt the best I have ever used, period! CitiTurf is always prompt, and their work is excellent. We use them for weekly mowing as well as periodic fertilization. They cut a different direction each week and even move our trampoline around so the grass will not have issues. The billing is simple and accurate, and if I call with an issue it is addressed very quickly. A family member of mine was a CitiTurf customer and then tried another company for a short time and went right back to CitiTurf because of the service he received. I paid for them to poison my weeds and the man was there for 2 min and didn't spray anything. They said they would respray if necessary when I asked for a refund. The weeds of course didn't die and they charged me anyway. They have nice trucks and advertising but just horrible service. They won't answer the phone; they will only communicate through email and on the portal which doesn't work. On to the next.

It looked like they just showed up, halfheartedly did the job, and left without a care. When I brought it up, Jennifer got defensive instead of trying to make it right. No apology, no solution, just attitude. What's even more laughable is that they BRAG on their Facebook page about having no employees. When a company goes from having a team to suddenly being proud of having no one, it usually means something went wrong. high turnover, poor management, or bad work culture. And when there's no staff, there's no quality control, no accountability, and no consistency. Just one person doing everything, cutting corners, and blaming the customer when things go wrong. Which explains why things are the way they are now. I strongly warn anyone thinking about hiring this company: don't. You'll waste your money, your time, and end up with a yard full of weeds and a headache from dealing with Jennifer. Go with literally anyone else.

Andy did the design on each of our three homes dating back to our first experience in 2007. Most of their team have been with them for 30 years and also worked on all three of our houses! Oscar, the on-site project manager, was there on all three houses as well. You don't find that kind of stability in this industry ever. Stewart handled everything from start to finish, treated our home and property with respect and left everything in perfect order when done - which included our sprinkler system. Our…read moregrass had long died after the freeze in 2021 and unable to grow under our huge tree as well as every plant in our front garden. Our stone wall had cracked so bad it was falling apart and our front yard was a dirt bomb. Very embarrasing needless to say. I was recommended to Daniel Stewart from one of my clients that had the most breathtaking yard. I called him and asked if he could "resurrect" our yard. When he came over and looked at our sad situation he said he could make it beautiful. We needed new drainage and sprinklers that could maintain the yard, new sod that could take the heat and shade, our beds completely redone, old dead plants removed, new soil and mulch and he would do a beautiful design of plants, flowers and rearranging our bench, stone birdbath, boulders to enhance his design. And they would fix our stone wall. He quoted us a very fair price and we signed on immediately. They came out bright and early on Monday April 6th and finished by 5 pm on April 7th. And wow did they do an amazing job. His crew was so professional and when they left all our neighbors started gathering around to see this wonderful transformation that took place overnight. I waited until now May 23rd to write this review so our seasonal flowers would be in bloom and our grass was blended in for the "after" photos. They planted azaleas behind our bench and other flowers around the tree that will be in bloom next spring. We are beyond elated with our new beautiful yard Daniel promised. I have attached photos of our new yard taken today and also of the before "dirt bomb" yard as well as Daniel's crew working hard to resurrect it! Thank you so much Daniel!

Nobody is going to sit and wait for them to show up where there is no specific date of service. I end up cancelling all services. Disappointed. Reply to the commentsl below. Yes I was out of town that's why the service was rescheduled to the week of May 11. What I am asking is if you can't provide service for the week I was told, send out a notification to your customer. Don't make it sound like it is my fault being out of town.

I've been a loyal customer of Chorbie for more than 7 years. Service and customer service has…read moredeclined in the past few years. You now reach a call center and management no longer communicates with customers. Called two weeks ago to inform them that my entire was not being mowed and that I had grass down the center that was at least 3 to 4 inches taller. Gave them two weeks to correct, still not correct- it's now worse, I have strips of tall green grass and burned grass to the soil. Was promised crew would be out on Friday or Saturday to fix. Waited until late Saturday and was then told they were waiting on the crew manager to reach back out to them and they would try for Monday. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the new management team no longer does this. To add insult to injury, they mowed off a sprinkler head in an area they mowed too low. After I shared I recently paid over $400 to have my whole system checked and repaired, they came out within a few days to fix the broken head. When I called Chorbie Weed Treatment, they actually made an effort to keep my business as they now serve as two separate entities. I hired another company to come out and mow properly. Yard looks great again. It's just hard to believe they just let a loyal customer go that fast.
