I ordered fried green tomatoes and a fish dinner, which happened to be the Friday special. A bargain at $12. The fish and fries were hot and fresh, served with hush puppies and tartar sauce. A side of green beans was very good. I love fried green tomatoes and these were excellent. I had ordered my food to go since I was working nearby but it would have been a pleasure to dine in and enjoy the atmosphere. Saying she got what she deserved. My understanding is the girl got in trouble with the boss and as a Punishment he made her unload watermelons basically humiliated her in front of her coworkers. One girl was heard saying let's see what her blood pressure is now started laughing. I guess people never leave high school!! When I was leaving the poor girl looked like she was about to pass out her face was beet red. So my takeaway is if someone has medical problems (just going by what I heard them girls say) we punish them?! Make that make sense plz. I also don't know how the coworkers can work in a place that feels like an oven. I won't be back and I will be letting people know what I saw. I will not eat somewhere where the employees get treated bad. DO BETTER!!!!
