To get here, there is street parking around the area or a nearby free parking garage for retail by the apartment parking garage. Inside, they have a warm and spacious setup with about 7-8 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a good selection of different coffee, matcha, and loose leaf tea drinks to choose from. I just woke up and this was my first drink of the day so I opted for a calm luh Matcha Latte sweetened with vanilla. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and the relaxing atmosphere of the shop. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back next time to try some of their other more unique offerings! read more

what a great coffee shop!!! i've been wanting to check them out for the longest time and they lived up to the hype. they were very busy on a sunday around 10:30 am but they kept the line moving at a nice pace and got drinks out pretty quick! i got their bombe ethiopia pour over and my parents got cappuccinos, and we all really enjoyed our drinks! their coffee is incredibly smooth. we also got their cardamom bun to try and it was fantastic!!! the cardamom wasn't overdone and it was soft throughout with the tiniest bit of crunch on the outside crust. the inside is open and airy and they have quite a few tables for sitting! read more

There was plenty of parking in the neighboring parking structure, so that was a plus before I even arrived. Once I walked into the shop, I immediately loved the vibe and aesthetic of the place-it's very minimalistic and open. This place gets busy so you might have to scope out a spot for a little bit, but it's worth the wait! I ordered a Chai Latte and a blueberry almond croissant and they were delicious, their pastry game is strong here, you NEED to order something from their pastry selection when you go. This is THE place for coffee snobs. As someone who gets a plain oat milk latte at every coffee shop I go to, you can quickly tell if the espresso is good or bad. Every time I have gotten a latte, it has tasted smooth and even--one of the best cups in Phoenix. The aesthetic of the shop is calming and great to work at. Being in the middle of the city is very fun and if you are lucky enough to be in one of the nearby apartments, within walking distance. The parking situation confuses me (am I able to park in the parking garage? Do I park across the street and walk over when there is lack of parking? I haven't figured that out yet), however, if you are lucky to get a spot, the espresso makes it all worth it. The service is great and I have always been treated kindly. Love that Moxie coffee has a decent amount of parking available in the garage, as well as plenty of seating inside. I can see it getting very busy on weekends though. I love trying the seasonal drinks at coffee shops, and I've tried Moxie's Nola and A&W. Nola has chicory infused cold brew, Madagascar vanilla, and half and half. The A&W is a latte with demerara, Madagascar vanilla, and cinnamon. I didn't think the Nola was anything special, and the demerara in the A&W left a weird taste in my mouth, literally, which apparently is quite common. If I got the A&W again, I would just ask them to substitute for another type of sweetener. That being said, I would still try out some of their other specialty drinks! Recently they started making and selling cardamom buns, which I love! I stopped by for a drink and a cardamom bun, which they warmed up and made it even better! They also had cinnamon buns which looked enticing. I noticed there's a lot of people coming in and out, and I saw quite a few dogs as well! That might make it more difficult to focus on work if that's your intention. But if you just want to grab a drink with a friend and hang out for a little bit, this is the perfect place for that! read more

Just the best spot for pour overs. They have the best selection of quality beans. I tried their Lychee from Diego Bermudez. It was exceptional. Prices can be a tad high in the 8-10 dollar range and waits can typically be around 15-20 minutes. I travel an extra 20 minutes off my commute to make it here. It's just that worth it. Apparently the place has won awards for their coffee? 3-4 people working and the place was busy, It took about 25-30 minutes for a large Madagascar vanilla latte and it ended up tasting like a sweet potato. (I think they had a drink that was themed that but that raises questions on whether it was cross contamination or a mistake) The longer I sat there the more I realized how hipster downtown has become and the longer I sat there the more out of place I felt. While the chocolate croissant was aesthetic on the outside, it was uninspired, and there was not nearly enough chocolate inside. The parking situation and interior of the coffee shop are lovely. There is plenty of seating, and it is not too cold inside. They played Lana Del Rey for about an hour, which I appreciated. The pour over coffee was fine, but the matcha latte was liquidy and lacked strong matcha flavor. The Califia almond milk did not do service to the matcha. If you are looking for somewhere to study, this place is great, but if you are looking for a delicious caffeinated beverage, it might be best to go elsewhere. read more
