The Drop Off window technicians are rude, unfriendly and tend to ignore customers trying to drop off prescriptions. I use this Walmart because it is (was) the closest pharmacy to my home that takes TRICARE. Today at 11:20AM I attempted to drop off some prescriptions, there was nobody in line but three Pharmacy techs at the drop off counter. When I presented my prescriptions no one acknowledged me. One picked up the phone and started to talk, so I stood infront of the second register where the young like never looked up but asked "What do you want?" then ignored me when I presented my prescriptions, and then walked off. The third lady looked at me and smirked like there was something funny. This is typical of this pharmacy, not the first or second time I have received rude or non-serrvice. I will drive another twenty minutes to avoid having to do business here. What is wrong with these people?

I understand that the med is not there, but I don't understand sending the prescription to another Walmart and still not being able to get it filled. The frustration is driving to Walmart 3x to pick it up. I guess they do not call patients when they are unable to fill a prescription and it is the patient's responsibility to make sure that the job gets done. This girl ALWAYS have a nasty attitude, that even bleeds through on the phone as clearly as it does in-person. It is shocking to me that Walgreens would employ someone with 'NO' people skills to work in a position and department that requires this work characteristic to support a faithful customer base. When I requested more information on the prescriptions, so I could cross-reference them to help me make a purchasing decision. She hung up the phone. Rather than asking, what meds am I calling about and being forth-coming with dosage.. whether it is a 30 or 90 days script. Which should be a standard dialog with whomever working in a support position. Hanging up is not what you do. So, I called back to speak with the pharmacist (Pharmacist Sowra/temp pharmacist) concerning my experience and demanded an apology or I will file a corporate complaint. I don't know what happened to the two ladies who have written the negative reviews, but I am SURE that whatever happened, it was an aberation.... These folks run a very good, very efficient, and very friendly operation, for a LOT of customers, and on the MANY times I've come in to pick something up, I've never heard another customer with a serious complaint. If you call ahead, the order is ready when you get there (unless the doctor or insurance company has been tardy updating the prescription). The pick-up is fast and courteous, and if something does go wrong, for whatever reason, they fix it on the spot. When I need advice about a particular drug or treatment, Drew and his crew are always ready to give GOOD, PRACTICAL advice. In emergencies, they will usually volunteer to open up the shop and/or deliver if necessary. My mother lives in an assisted living facility, and Wynn's "bubble packs" her several prescriptions into grouped doses for each of the several times a day when she gets something, and then delivers the bubble packs to her facility. Yes, you can sometimes get some things a little more cheaply from the Insurance company pharmacy. Personally, I GLADLY pay the small amounts extra to be able to take advantage of the excellent service and advice Wynn's provides.
