I arrived at the office only to be told that nobody was there to help me. One of the receptionists handed me the case with the glasses and said to come back if I had any problems. They have never been fitted or adjusted. Unacceptable! Buy glasses somewhere else!

I had two appointments that were re-scheduled for various reasons by the practice, all were…read morecanceled by the practice when I got there. One time was because the doctor was in surgery that day, the employee should have known this when I was called to re-scheduled. The second time was for a cataract consultation, when I got there for the 9:15 AM appt. I waited 40 minutes after appt. time and ask what was taking so long, they said I was next. Two more people were called, at 10:15 I ask the desk why, this is when I found out it was for a "cosmetic" consult. I said it was supposed to be for a cataract consult. At this time I ask them to cancel my appt, I was going back to Clayton Eye Center where they knew what they were doing. I don't believe the employees know what they are doing, it is chaotic. I have to travel from Jonesboro to Locust Grove, it was a waste of my time and gas. This us unacceptable for a practice that was highly recommended.

On the OD's official report -- my near…read morevision is important, only time I pick up minuscule cheaters -- only a 1 or 1.5, not the 2.25 or 2.75 like before -- is in the dimmest light, for the finest detail work or super tiny print not meant to be read by normal human eyes. In daylight or typical indoor light, these multifocal, toric IOL's are fantastic, akin to the best contact lenses i ever had, but w/out all the soaking, cleaning, etc.

It is July 10, 2026. Had an appointment for my wife at 10am…read moream it is 11:10 and we still have not been seen. They always are behind and they over nook appointments. It has gotten worse since they open the Locust Grove location. Great doctors but always behind. Do not go to this group if you expect to be seen on time. For us we will be looking for another eye doctor in Griffin and not the Takle group in Griffin.
