I don't know why so many korean eatery owners/workers are so rude! I love this place, but I hate rude workers. It's almost like a requirement to own a korean eatery: Must know how to piss off customers in order to open up a place of service! They're even more rude to Koreans that can't speak Korean. Based on other reviews, I'm glad I don't feel the same way. Anyway, that's the main reason I didn't give it 4 stars. the desserts are good , but I prefer their breads and pastries. My favorite are the little white bean chestnut balls and tapioca bread. They have the BEST tapioca bread. They also have a great selection of hot teas. I also love the interior of this bakery. This is my goto place when I have visitors from out of town that want to go to a nice Korean bakery. There's an abundance of seating and they display their desserts and other items in such an aesthetically pleasing manner that it really appeals to their customers. But, I have to say it again...rude rude rude. The lady at the cashier literally told me to get out of the way so that she could help the next customer. This is one of my favorite cafes in the area. They serve really delicious boba tea and also serve these twisty doughnuts that I am completely addicted to. The service isn't necessarily spectacular but they are fast. I also noticed that it says they close at midnight but it's pointless to come here past 10pm. Giving four stars because they made a special drink for me.....even though she gave me attitude about it. It's not too hard to make a "honey green tea", she had no idea what I was talking about but made the request anyway. Was damn delicious, more flavorful than Boba Mocha. I don't understand why it's not on the menu when the manager knows how to make it....? Kind of weird. Papbingsu is okay here, could use more fruit and other toppings like other places. Beautiful environment, and comfy seats or booths. Other than that....go to place when you don't want to deal with white wind mill or tree story. Be prepared for attitude! read more

I always go to Mozart bakery at any hint of a birthday party or special occasion. I absolutely love their cakes! They are not only delicious but they are beautiful too! I am really surprised that this bakery doesn't have higher ratings. I am an avid baker and a huge dessert aficionado and I believe that Mozart's cakes are hard to beat. This comes from someone who has tried cakes and pastries from their birthplace, Paris, France. Maybe it's because of my Asian palate, but I just don't love tooth-rotting sweets and Mozart understands my sugar tolerance amazingly. Their fresh cream fruit cake cannot be beat (I've tried the competitors) and I think their macarons are actually quite authentic in texture (I had a TON in Paris). Also, last summer, I tried a Black Forest Cake made by a German auntie and theirs reminded me very much of this unforgettable chocolate and kirsch cherry experience. I don't know exactly if they pride themselves in making macaroons but they should reduce the amount of sugar in those things. I felt like I had diabetes after 1. I taste tested a few and it all taste artificial as hell. I'm not in love with it at all plus the prices are high for 1 damn macaroon. I bought 5....they should consider having a special for people buying a few. read more

BE AWARE OF TIMING! So the only thing I eat from here is the fish waffles and I come there all the time to get it. Their sign says that they stop making it at 10pm. I got there after 9:50, which I understand it's late but I figured I was good cause I had 10 mins left. It's not like their closing time is 10 so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. First thing they told me is that they are no longer doing orders cause they are cleaning the machines. So I asked "you stop at 10 right?" And they said yes but last order is at 9:55. I looked at my phone and it was not yet 9:55; it was 9:53. The front girl was scrambling to find her words and she said we just took the last order and we have to stop. Okay...but I thought you were cleaning the machines??? Turns out the person making the waffles was literally just starting the previous orders and couldn't do anything at all. Eventually they said it was because they don't want the girl making it to leave too late. Yeah...okay. Their customer service is horrible and kept making excuses. read more

best cakes EVER!!! try the strawberry shortcake or the fresh fruit cake. nothing is too sugary. their icing is made of some type of light whipped topping. you almost don't even taste the sugar. when you buy a cake everything is edible except the knife. their "happy birthday" or happy anniversary" signs are made of chocolate!! oh! and their staff is always so extra friendly and will do anything to accommodate your needs. read more

The pastries are not overly sweet and that is a very good thing; however, I agree with what the previous reviewer say about eating the cream and comparing it to a stick of butter. I think Mozart Bakery has been my favorite Korean bakery that I've been to so far in the Atlanta area. They just happen to carry my favorite chestnut bread. It is so simple, yet so addictive. The décor is European style, not Asian, which I think is because of the bakery's name. Unlike a lot of the bakeries in the area, this bakery is VERY spacious, and the booths offer a lot of privacy. Although, I wish they would update the booths, because the seating looked like it was frayed and torn. I have basically tried everything in this bakery, and it seems that their strength is definitely their cakes. I purchased one of their cakes for my wife's birthday, and I liked how it was very light and not tooth rottening like the cakes you get at Publix. Their drinks were good, but not much to write about. I really wanted to like this place more. I am familiar with Asian bakeries in New York City and this had that same clean appeal with every pastry pre wrapped. I am just disappointed by the coffee. Vanilla latte had little vanilla flavor which I was ok with put I think they are using a poor quality coffee bean. There was nearly no coffee fragrance coming from it and even less flavor. Good place to come for a cup of coffee and some snacks. The setup here is great for groups and is good for private meetings. Also a good place to study and focus on what needs to get done. The only down side is the internet/wifi is unreliable and turns on and off every 15 to 20 minutes. I know it's free but I would hope it could work so I can meet with clients and not have to refresh. read more

Whenever I have a sweet craving I'll stop by here for a piece of cake. lol My birthday cake was bought here so I absolutely loved it, because it was a mocha cake that tasted really good. Chocolatey and coffee flavored and with the right amount of sweetness. Yummy! They have a large selections of pastries, teas, and breads. It usually depends if i'm in the mood to snack...which I'll buy a drink and a slice a cake, then some pastiries or bread choices home. As always best to come early to have a better selection of thier baked goods. Otherwise you'll be left what whatever that hasn't been bought up. read more

I got the mango mousse cake and was slightly disappointed. The mango flavor was weak and the mousse was more gelatinous than airy.

The staff here is always friendly, the baked goods are delicious, and the coffee is great. They are open late every night and a great place to work or study or meet friends. read more

worst Customer service ever! ! I bought 6 macaroons, and two of them were broken so she only charge me .75 cents instead of the 1.49 , I could not wait to eat them , so I decided to eat the one that was broken , and it was hard as a rock! I Told The Girl I Would Rather Pay The reg. Price but I wanted the ones that were complete. So she asked the mgr. And the mgr. Looked at me and said macaroons are supposed to be hard and thru them in the garbage. So the other girl pulled the new macaroons and intended me to pay full price for them. I looked her straight in her face and said really y want to charge me full price and the mgr. Just thru the ones I just paid for. The mozart girl said do you want me to take them out of the trash bc we don't do exchanges. Are you serious! We pay so much money for the cakes, donuts , ect. . And she would not exchange them and i was still going to pay the difference, so I grabbed the new macaroon and walked out. I love this bakery! I think they have the best Korean baked goods in town. They have pretty good espresso here as well. (I'm a big espresso person) The workers were really nice and friendly. I would definitely come back to try more stuff! read more

There are few places I've been where the food is consistently amazing, and Mozart is one of them. No matter what you plan on buying form them is made from fresh, high quality ingredients. I've seen people on here complain about the service toward non-Koreans, but I've never received bad service there. This is a must for people who enjoy fine baked goods. This place is very nicely decorated with Venetian Plaster, textured, nicely colored and finished with a heavy European accent. Pastries and snacks are delicious and coffee is fine. Associates are generally friendly. Just wish there was WIFI here. Like those red bean filled fried doughnut ball things....like the onion/beef ones too. Checked this place out today. Not as good as white windmill bakery. Place was clean with a nice dining area. Pretty good selection of baked goods though, and prices were fair. Tried a tiramisu macaroon, flavor was excellent but it seemed thicker than others (Mac lab and white windmill). Tried a few other baked goods, but no desert. It was OK, but not amazing. I'd rather just go to White Windmill for baked goods or Mac Lab (right around corner) for macaroons. read more

I love Mozart's Thai tea latte but at this location she was VERY RUDE, she took my order wrong and when I corrected her about it, she caught an attitude and made my drink really sloppy . I don't know if the milk was expired or not because it tasted old and I told her, all she did was throw my drink away, didn't even offer to make another one . The girls that work there seem to not know what's going on. Wifi didn't work and they didn't know how to fix it. My green tea latte was just green tea with no milk or nothing (thanks, I could've poured water myself). Don't bother bringing work or laptop, not work friendly at all. I love this Mozart!! If anyone has been to mango six (in the same plaza), their honey breads USED TO come from this place. Their honey bread, mini fish pastries, zen peach green tea, macaroons, fruit sodas, and cake slices are the only things I've tried yet, but they are all AMAZING and I have been to other bakeries in the area. My friend and I decided to stop in this place to give it a try. We normally love nice little cafes, but stopping in this one was a mistake. No one greeted us when we walked through the door( perhaps because we were not Korean). I ordered the Chocolate Ganache cake, and my friend ordered the Cinnimon twist with a Vanilla Latte. The Chocolate Ganache was absolutely disgusting, there was no sugar in the cake and the chocolate powder they put on top tasted like dirt. I could not eat it. The cinnamon twist was cold but it at least tasted good. The Vanilla Latte was absolutely disgusting, there was no vanilla to taste at all. I am so sorry I wasted my money here. On a positive note the layout of the building is nice and very spacious, but eat the food at your own risk. read more

The place is horrible. employee's attitude is unprofessional where I feel like as a customer become a employee who gets treated like not a human being. I go the the bakery for tea and few types of cake and every time I go, it's same employee who give me a attitude toss the pen for signature on credit card charge form. And when I told the tea was Luke warm, she was like its from the water fountain it can't be with a attitude. Finally with the argument se exchanged the tea but hygiene problem. She took my lid put it on the counter top by cloth, and put it on my cup after she remade the tea. I would like to tell every yelp user, I would Like to recommend other bakeries that is down the road. More professional employees well as cheaper teas. I hope this doesn't happen to other customers. By the way, cakes, and other food, there are other bakeries down the road is lot better and they provide wifi as well. FYI I am a tea person and they serve cheapest tea, and saddest thing there are so many Mozart in the Duluth area but only this one serves cheap tea where you could get from market which this cafe is located.
