I spoke with the owner upon delivery of my first phase of loose photos, and he laid out different options based on my wants, needs and budget. I was kept in the loop and notified of phases being complete. I then sent a few very old photo albums, with sticky pages, and even those came out great in the scanning process. No shadow or lights like you might come across if you try to do this on your own. Amazing quality! I am very happy with the process and completion.

I had a large number of DVD 's made by a crappy Phillips DVD player/Recorder from camcorder tapes…read more20+ years ago. The format of the DVD's the Phillips created are in an unreadable format that no pc dvd player or conversion s/w on the web I could find could get them to play. Therefore, paid International Video Tape Copy to find a way to do the conversion. It was tough they said. And a few were so bad I had to give them the original camcorder taped. In the end they converted them all to a readable format on memory drives. Job well done and they would checked in with me often giving updates on their progress to completion.

As we all know, videographers ARE NOT cheap, but they're absolutely necessary if you really want to capture the magic of your wedding day for years to come. When I came across Chad's videos, I was stunned: they were so cinematic, beautiful, and full of emotion. Then, when I saw how affordable his packages were in comparison to other videographers, there was no doubt in my mind that I had found our videographer. We booked him right away, and he turned out to be one of our favorite vendors to work with. + VERY PROFESSIONAL: On our wedding day, the team set to work and knew exactly what to do and what to capture without getting in anybody's way. They only pulled me and/or my husband aside 2-3 times to "stage" a shot, but other than that, they left us alone to enjoy our special day. + CAPTURED EVERYTHING: The team captured all the special moments I was hoping to see: from the little things like our custom-made cake-topper and other décor, to the big things like our sparkler grand exit and my husband wiping away happy tears as he saw me coming down the aisle. They did a great job of dedicating more screen time to our bridal party and parents, but still zoned in on a variety of our guests so that everyone had a chance to shine. + VERY ACCOMODATING: Chad was more than happy to incorporate any requests I had for our video, which ranged from playing a particular song to incorporating a specific part of someone's speech. I really wanted our video to have certain elements, so it meant the world that Chad was so easy to work with. + QUICK TURNAROUND: We received our highlight video about 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding day. Our 2-3hrs of raw footage will take a little longer, but at least we have something to watch in the meantime. - QUALITY VARIES: I've noticed that the quality DOES vary depending on the package you choose. Some of the shorter, cheaper packages aren't as "cinematic." I really encourage you to take a look at the different videos on their website to determine what style you're looking for and how much it will cost. - MAY NOT BE ABLE TO MEET: With my Type A "perfectionist" personality, this was an issue for me at first. I was a very "hands-on" bride that wanted to double-triple-quadruple check every little detail with my vendors, so when Chad assured me that meeting wouldn't be necessary, I was very skeptical. However, he turned out to be right. We met him on the day of our wedding, and everything still turned out to be perfect. Just wanted to give other brides a heads-up! Overall, Chad and his team at Rethinkvideo were a delight to work with. We're very, very pleased with their work and we would definitely recommend them for all your videography needs. They have an eye to see things from the most flattering and unique angles. I booked them to cover 4 days of my wedding events and didn't meet anyone from the team until the day and hour of the events. Chad is a great communicator over phone/email and will do his absolute best to take care of all the details you want covered- no matter how long it takes! They have only covered a couple of Indian weddings so far, but I personally feel that their finished product is better than any other videography team that is super familiar with Indian weddings and their traditions. They were cooperative and very respectful of all traditions, customs and family members. I had some preferences for background music, and they completely worked with me and did a better job with my own music than if i could have arranged it myself. I am super excited to show my wedding video to my family and friends because I know they did a beautiful job of telling a story that is true to the personality of my husband and myself. They are not exactly what one would consider "cheap" (you get what you pay for), so if you really need to watch your budget, I would honestly suggest cutting back somewhere else and book Rethink- you will not regret it!
