I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. If you come across this shop and this review, I highly recommended at least give Amy a call or stop by at their shop to check out their offering. I would be happier that you do choose them as remodeling partners because I know you are making the correct decision.

Summary: I would NEVER use this contractor again…read more I purchased my flooring from Floor & Decor and was STRONGLY encouraged to use their contractors - Installation Made Easy - which turned to be Angel Superior Flooring (ASF). The estimator, Rosie, said we had just over 1,000 sq ft and the installers would do 200-300 sq ft per day so we estimated 5 days. We planned to be out of town for a week starting April 17. We discovered that ASF would not paint the molding - we paid them to move all of the furniture (about $700) and put it all back when they were done, but that would leave us with heavy furniture against a wall that would need to be moved again for the painter. Grrr. We decided that ASF would leave the furniture away from the walls and then the painter would come in, paint the molding, and put the furniture back. It's heavy wood furniture and we're too old to be dealing with it. We scheduled all of the material to be delivered from F&D for April 16. On the morning of April 16, one of the ASF installers showed up ready to start work. We sent him away since we had no material and he was a day early. F&D delivered the material shortly before noon on the 16th. The missed the shoe molding required for this project so I phoned and had it scheduled for the next day. The next day, the molding showed up before ASF did so we were back on track. The shopping list that ASF gave us was for 255' of shoe molding. It comes in 16' pieces so F&D sold us 16 pieces. We left on our trip. I discovered on my trip that my Internet went out. It acted like the T-Mobile gateway was unplugged. I had left explicit instructions for them not to unplug it because we have things that need Internet (like our irrigation system). I texted ASF on Monday morning asking them to plug it back in again when they got and was told the job was already completed - they went for speed and not quality. They said they didn't touch the gateway. They lied - it was unplugged at the gateway end so they likely knocked it off the shelf, it became unplugged, they put it back and didn't say anything. That was the least of our problems... The painter showed up the Friday while we were gone to finish painting the shoe molding. He texts me pictures showing scuff marks all over the floor - he noticed this before he even started painting. So I texted ASF and they said they'd send somebody over on Saturday to clean them up. We got home from our trip 2 days early on Saturday night. I see scuff marks all over a filthy floor. I pulled the electronic door lock logs and see that they were here for 6 minutes. So they walked in, looked around blindly, and didn't do a darn thing and left. My wife spent a good part of Sunday vacuuming and mopping the floor. We then spent time with postit notes beside every scuff mark and a couple of dents on the floor and told them to come back and fix them. We also emptied out the cardboard from our garbage can and put it in the recycle can, and we finished picking up the garbage that they left outside. Our neighbor had already picked some off the driveway and some out of our garden. The painter immediately noticed that there was a mixture of shoe molding and quarter-round used for the project. One of the closets didn't have either shoe molding or quarter-round! I asked ASF and they said they ran out of shoe molding. Their supervisor, Ivan, said they only used quarter-round in the closets where it wouldn't be noticeable. I pointed out that part of the master bedroom had shoe molding and part had quarter-round. The hallway also had a mix facing each other. They matched the corner joints by slathering silicone over them. Ivan said they used 50-60' of quarter-round so they either missed the estimate by over 20% or F&D didn't deliver what I paid for. I'll never know which it was. The supervisor offered to replace the quarter-round with shoe molding. However, it would be OUR expense to buy the shoe molding, and OUR expense to have it repainted. I told him we weren't going to do that but I wasn't happy about it. When they came today, they cleaned up all of the marks with acetone, did a nice job on the shoe molding in the closet (they were struggling to get around shelving in there), and ended up replacing 1 tile that was dented. Ivan tried to say that it wasn't dented at all and it was my imagination, and the flooring guy today tried to say somebody else must have dented it - but there was nobody home between the time they left and when it was found. He then said it must have come that way from F&D and that it wasn't noticed during the install. ASF opened the packages and ASF put the flooring down. They need to pay attention to what they're installing. The master bedroom closet had a larger dent but to fix it would have meant removing and replacing the molding so we left it. Again, why did they install a dented piece in the corner of a closet? Overall, we have a new floor and we've made our final payment. But I can't say we're happy.

I eventually got numbers but had to call multiple times to follow up. The third company was solid and came back with their price for the job. When I reached out to Larry, however, the responsiveness was unequaled. Not only did he answer on the first call, he arranged to meet me at my house later that same day. He then delivered a quote by the next morning that was competitive (the quotes all ranged from $17K to 20K) and we agreed to a start date and a targeted end-date. Throughout the project Larry and his team were completely professional and Larry remained very easy to reach. We made a couple of changes to the project as well and Larry took it all in stride and still delivered (in spite of several rain days) on-time with no price changes. We used three different slabs. All four layouts were beautifully done using up to date imaging technology, so it was easy to visualize the finished product. The crew is awesome! They were diligent, and communicated clearly. The installation went smoothly, with a perfect fit and finish in all four bathrooms. This was all done at a very reasonable price. That being said, stone countertops are an improvement meant to be appreciated for many years. Our countertops are just gorgeous and I know their beauty will return a lifetime of pleasure. We used Dela Tile originally to buy a large island countertop. We were going to use Home Depot and…read morethe pricing, quality and service were great. So we decided to use them to retile our floors and bathrooms. Within 2 years, the tiles started popping off and we even had to re-do the fixes they made. The drain in the shower was off-center. The bench they installed is breaking apart, letting water inside. Now I see they that when they installed the tile in the bathroom, they just installed around the toilet in the visible parts and did not add support underneath. The rule is that you can buy high-quality products from Dela Tile, but their installers (countertops excluded), are careless and don't do a good job.
