I recently paid my home insurance premium with a live customer service rep; she said all is good; I received a receipt from them in my email, 4 days before the premium was due. Three weeks later, three days before the date the insurance company said they were cancelling "for nonpayment", WALLY RIOS, with MPX, called me and told me we were being cancelled. This was my first notification that I was being cancelled, and that the payment had not gone through. The next three days are another fiasco story of business and communication incompetence. However, the point here is that the story has a happy ending ONLY because Wally Rios TOOK THE TIME, and the INTEREST, and had the COMPASSION to realize that I needed someone to help me avoid the impending disaster. I was not going to get this situation resolved by myself in the three days they gave me (nobody from the insurance company ever contacted me). WALLY RIOS followed up with every contact he said he would; he contacted the insurance company multiple times, and dealt with their incompetency; the end result was that hours before the cancellation deadline (because of a "nonpayment"" that I already had a receipt for), Wally was solely responsible for making the company stop the cancellation. My home is in California; need I say more about the urgency of avoiding being cancelled. Need I talk about the casual attitude of customer "service" of corporations in this day. The only person who took an interest in his job, and in my plight, was WALLY RIOS. I have in fact even called your customer service number in the past, when I had an abrupt, unexplained, premium increase from my carrier; I was met, on that call, with a mediocre response, that nobody wanted to take the time to answer. WALLY RIOS is a special employee of your company. I hope you realize the values, attitude, compassion, and work ethic he brings to MPX Insurance Services, and treat him accordingly. Wow. I'm OCD businessman and I expect the best.I never write reviews unless I see the best. Even for the worst I don' write a review because I hope they improve. As a general contractor my number one goal is to make sure my clients are happy. Customer service and quality of work is vital to my business. It's very very difficult to find someone who's very focused and who can serve the client with the best solutions, have a positive attitude, and be there when you need them to be there. MPX insurance team reflects all those qualities. Before I got into construction and have 3 crews with 12 employees, I was an insurance agent myself so I know how much speed and time is valuable. Not only that an insurance agent doesn't usually have "energy". But... Mercedes is like always high on something. She has so much energy its like she's drank 3 redbulls and hit a line of coke. Obviously she didn't but she has the vibe that it's someone who'd I'd be best friends forever. Amanda is also great. She's the more calm one compared to Mercedes but she's on top of it always. Getting quotes from places with a big name and of course they were very expensive. Then I got a call from PETER MOSCU and also an email saying he had seen what I was looking for. I have been working with MPX for about 10 years. They handle all of my insurance needs for both my construction company, my real estate company. They also handle my personal lines of insurance. Marcio has a great team. Mercedes and Lindsey who handle the insurance polices for my two businesses know I have a business to run and lean on them to make sure I don't have holes in my coverage and are diligent in finding the best coverage for the best price so I can focus on running my business. They think outside the box and don't just check the box and in doing so have saved me thousands of dollars every year. They are also very responsive and easy to get a hold of. If you are a business owner, you know how irritating it is to have to follow up with venders, contractors, etc. to do their jobs. Very happy with my experience with MPX Insurance. I was recently a first time home buyer and during the Escrow process Alex Mika helped me out in creating a home insurance policy. He was able to work directly with the Escrow company and drafted the ideal policy for me. I initially wanted to go with a high deductible so I could save money on the premium. Alex was very knowledgeable and advised against that idea and was able to set me up with a lower deductible that didn't vastly raise the premium. Unfortunately and fortunately enough, after moving into my new home, I had an overnight water leak. The entire kitchen floor and dining room floor had to be replaced. I was obviously upset, but at the same time that's what insurance is for. Fortunately, I didn't have to shell out a huge out of pocket deductible because Alex advised me of a better policy. I currently have auto insurance through USAA but after my experience with MPX I'll most likely be switching over. read more

i have been with mpx insurance for several year s now. this year i worked with a natalie verity. i had several changes that needed to be made on my auto policy and natalie was able to help me with all the changes that had to be made. she also took care of my homeowners policy getting it updated going over the coverage i would have. these may sound like simpe changes to my policies but believe me being able to contact me about the new premiums and an changes was not easy. my wife was having surgery during all this time and i was not able to return calls from natalie as quickly as i should have. natalie was always so pleasant to talk with never questioned why i was late calling her back. she was a joy to work with. i am hoping she stays my agent for a long tme. as for mpx, i never questions the rates as i know from experience they have purchased the best product for the best price. read more

I have been with MPX for a few years and I was always pleased to work with Erin Eichelberger-Fields. She would go out of her way to work and rework the numbers on a file until we exhausted all possibilities and I was happy. Which is why when she left and our file were reassigned, I panicked! Not to worry, they have clearly cloned Erin with Natalie Verity and all is well with the world. Natalie recently helped me "crunch the numbers" for my sister in law and our new driver nephew and she was absolutely awesome. Totally patient and sweet and very professional and quite knowledgable. We ultimately got them better coverage than they had with Progressive and added their renters insurance to boot, the bundle price was practically free to add the renters insurance. I am a seasonal resident of Florida and I have owned my home here for 12 years and have had my homeowner's policy for with the same company for the entire time with no claims. When I got my bill for last year they had increased my premium by 20%. I wasn't happy but I paid it anyway. This year when I got my bill for the coming year they wanted to charge me 250% more than last year. I tried to negotiate with them but to no avail. so I started getting quotes from other companies. Yesterday I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Melissa on the phone. I had some increases needed to my home owners and flood insurance policies. Melissa not only answered all my needs in a professional and courteous manner she did what I didn't expect she could possibly accomplish. This morning first thing my increases were already sent to my mortgage company as well as my copies and even attempted to contact my Veteran Officer who handles my paperwork for me. I've been insuring cars for over 35 years and I've never worked with a company or an employee better than MPX and Nicole Guillen. Her love for what she does and the length of time she's been in the business are obvious. I recently had a moving violation added to my record and when my current carrier raised my rates, Nicole spent an inordinate amount of time working with every carrier MPX writes for until she found the best option for me. I never thought I'd review an insurance company, but I will say Natalie was super helpful to me and my family. About seven months ago I switch over to my own insurance because I bought a new car in my name and wasn't able to stay with AAA because of the astronomical price difference. I knew nothing about insurance but I got a quote from Mercury that was fairly reasonable and then ultimately had my entire family switch to them. In switching I forgot to cancel my previous individual insurance and Natalie took it upon herself to cancel it for me.
