On 5/14/26 when I set my appointment, I was quoted twice, by Jessica and Shivan, $185 to repair, since I had paid my diagnostic fee of $149.95 on 5/7/26. Today (5/22/26), when Nick arrived, he quoted me $320.44 (the part $185 + tax and labor of $125). $125 labor was NEVER quoted on the phone when I scheduled my appointment!!! I take notes of EVERY business call I make and luckily, had my notes with me. I called Platinum to speak with a supervisor to have my labor cost waived since I was never quote, only to be told one isn't available. And on top of that, Platinum NEVER ordered the part to fix my washer!!! They were waiting to be paid for the part. Where do they do that at??? If that were the case, why didn't either of the representatives advise me to pay at the time the appointment was made??? So my time, and the repair technician's time was wasted today. PLATINUM FACTORY, YOU ALL HAVE TO DO BETTER!!! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this company and would advise everyone to avoid them at all costs. I am a customer service supervisor and have been in customer service/call centers for 31 years, and the MAIN thing is to provide CORRECT AND THOROUGH INFORMATION AND QUOTES TO CUSTOMERS. And the kicker??? I spent $65 at the laundry mat last weekend on linens, towels, and my & my daughter's clothes....with the expectation that my washer would be fixed today so my husband's clothes could be washed. To say I'm upset, is an understatement!!!

Technician explained this is due to multiple parts not being ordered (first cancellation by technician), required tools not being available (second cancellation by technician), technician illnesses (third cancellation by technician), and the unfortunate death of a family member (fourth cancellation).
