I demo removed porch from house from another contractor based in port Richmond. I had More work to finish because the cedar shingles were missing as well as the soffit and gutter. I received a work quote to replace everything which I felt was excessive. I called Chris he did a complete tear off of the roof year ago, outstanding job. He looked at everything, they finished the siding fabricating a perfect match of adjoining soffit and installed a beautiful full back gutter with leaders and gutter guard. I was surprised When Chris gave me the final price. He is so Honest and reasonable with all his craft work And has a very good work crew for all areas. I did not respond right away, he then continued to let me know he has a friend who can do the work for cheaper, I responded with as long as either him or his friend have a license and insured I'm happy to work with him. He then continued to tell me his friend wanted a $1000.00 deposit so when I asked him for his friends company name he responded with "loco construction" because what I want is cheap so clearly I'm crazy... I told him he's unprofessional and he then blocked me. very rude and unprofessional. if he didn't want the job, he could have just left me alone instead of being an a-hole.

Scott & Jeff were able to provide advise & suggestions on where to place lights,(both recessed, pendant & under cabinet) the saddles between rooms and the daily assurance that things were right on schedule. Carlos & Elvis were the team that put the kitchen together from the tear down(floors, soffit, walls & ceiling) to the wallboard, taping, cabinet and crown molding installation. At the end of each day, a thorough clean up took place and the plastic dust covers that had been disturbed were repositioned for the work to be done the following day. Thank you…read more I don't like to deal with insurance companies or claims processes--I don't think anyone on earth does--so I never said I like to negotiate with insurance companies. The insurance company has not been a problem. They have approved everything asked for. You are a contractor. I asked for an estimate for contractor services, not advice on how to best manage an insurance claim. By requiring potential customers to deal with one of your adjusters in order to even get an estimate, let alone services, you are actually putting yourself and the adjuster you require to be used in the middle of insurance negotiations. I've heard that some companies do that sort of thing to drive up the price charged to the insurance company which can often result in delays in claims processing. I'm sure that's not what was going on here, but I also didn't want to find out. Since it was clear there was no agreement with your company to be had it was time for your employees to leave. I'm sorry I wasn't able to invite them in for a cup coffee but I had several work matters to complete that day. Thanks again for responding. Take care!
