The day shift is more professional and the food is always tasty. The night shift seems angry that they have to work. They will close early, leave the drive through lights on, giving the impression they are open and basically, waste your time. The owner of this franchise either does not know what's happening, or simply doesn't care. read more

Can't give a zero star unfortunately. Placed order on the Mr. Chicken website for delivery. Paid. Got confirmation. Never received the food. They apparently contract out delivery to Door Dash. DD Driver showed up and was told picked up by someone else. Called the location and spoke Assistant Manager at Mr. Chicken. Stated it was picked up by a driver (apparently 4 different ones showed up but the one who was assigned?). They would not take ownership of the problem, nor provide a refund. Stated I had to discuss with Door Dash. Called Door Dash. They said Mr. Chicken had to deal with the refund. You get where I'm going with this. Out $80. No food. No service. No good! I went to the Mr Chicken in Maple Hts Ohio On Warrensville Ctr Rd. earlier today and ordered the 10 piece wing special, 2 biscuits, and a small coleslaw. The wings that I ordered were BEYOND HUGE! and they were OLD!! I spent over 30.00 there for nothing and I AM NOT HAPPY! What happened to the smaller wings and food being cooked fresh! I use to come to Mr Chicken on Wednesday's but now they built a new building and new location, i wish they would have stayed at the location on Northfield Rd Oh. The service is awful you seat in line long time when no one is in line, the chicken winds still has feathers on them this should not be aloud! Mr. Chicken, you really need to consider who you hire to work at your establishments, I was at your Warrensville Ctr rd location between 7pm and 8 pm tonight 12/7/2023, and had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I asked one simple question to the young lady in the drive thru, and that was "is the gravy in the box", she gave me the most NASTY reaction EVER. I'm almost positive it's because she's upset at her career path, however don't take it out on the customers. Tonight is most definitely my last night of spending time and $$$ at that location! The staff was very friendly. The problem is they were very friendly while getting my order wrong. I ordered & PAID for 4 chicken tenders. I got 3. I did not get any honey mustard sauce. I was the only car in the drive thru line. By the way, chicken tenders were delicious with my Wendy's honey mustard sauce from my stash. read more

I just left this place and never again. First, there were hardly any cars in the driveway, but the service was super slow. There were two cars ahead of me, and the wait is usually very short. Not tonight. When I finally got to the window, the worker waited another minute before she opened the window. When she did. She asked me if I ordered the Wednesday special. I did. She handed me a bag with the food already ready. I waited for her to give me my change. She opened the window and asked me yes like was there something else. My change and receipt! She actually was surprised that I was expecting my change even if it was pennies. WTH. It's my change. She was bothered. I get home, and as you can see from the pictures, this is the mess that was in my box. There are no baked beans in the special, and I don't know what that dough ball is in the corner. There were three thighs in the box too. To give someone food that is open and in damaged containers is disgraceful, and I will never go back there. Amazing!! I just ordered 10 wings, hopped on 480 and got back home in Parma and they were still hot!! These juicy, tender, delicious wings are a little overpriced but worth it. The service was fast in the drive through. I just wish they could train the workers at the Westside location in Parma how to cook the chicken because it doesn't taste the same. read more

This is a coin flip place. I don't love it and I don't hate it. Its just in the middle for me and it depends on what mood I'm in. They do a great job here keeping up with their busy pace on certain days. The food is fresh and they have been around for a long time. Their breading they use is pretty good and worthy of the name Mr Chicken, can't have a name like that and be below average. They do have good sides as well, all in all this is a good place, but I am not the biggest fan. I went there on a Saturday afternoon (before 3:00pm) so my car barely made it into the parking lot. It was about 15-20 minutes before I could place my order for some tenders. Maybe another 10 minutes before I made it to the pay window. There the clerk said they had run out of tenders. I asked why wasn't I told that when I placed the order. I was told they had just ran out. A place what specializes in chicken runs out of chicken????? Just left this place, this is my first and last time eating here. I ordered a family meal and what a disappointment! I got home and had 2 drumsticks, two breast and the rest were thighs! No wings. The macaroni and cheese was dry and looked old. We immediately took it back and was told by the manager that wings don't come with a family meal. Really I have never heard that. They also said that the thighs were not thighs but half breast. Why not just give wings instead of "half breast"? Wings are extra??? Wow!! Have always loved Mr. Chicken, but this location is going downhill. Soda was almost all seltzer, ordered a dark meat meal and got two tiny drumsticks and one thigh, and the "bigger crispier" tenders were tiny, greasy lumps. The food looked like KFC, and it's never been like this. We were at the drive thru, so maybe they thought we would just deal with it (they knew what they were doing, because they gave us an extra greasy lump and a biscuit). Went in to replace the meal and the manager on duty didn't seem to care. She shrugged and asked if we wanted a replacement, and even though we were starving, we didn't really have faith that they cared to do better. Went to the Popeyes next door and it was MUCH better. This place is as close as to home-cooked chicken that you're going to get. Unfortunately, that's where it flaws. First of all, it's not very flavorful by itself. You will need to add spices to it yourself and I mean a fair amount. The side dishes are also very bland, especially their macaroni and cheese. It resembles more of faux cheese substitute and water. Even adding more cheese to it myself didn't help. It also doesn't help that they ask for a bit too much form such small amounts, even their Wednesday special doesn't compensate this glaring problem. read more

Good as always! Every time I'm in town I always stop by here for the best chicken! Service is normally on point & they take good care of you! Accept this time they ruined my order. I asked for coleslaw & they gave me mash potatoes instead. I was quite upset only because I had my heart set on the coleslaw, even though the mash was still good I wish they would of listened but all in all it was all good! kinda mixed on how to review my last experience - they have a double line drive thru system which appears it should be efficient enough but BEWARE! - due to Covid you cannot go inside to place an order at the counter so you gotta languish in the drive thru line - considering they serve basically one thing - chicken - granted in a bunch of different combinations you would assume that putting prepared foods into a container & then giving it out through a window would not cause the bottle neck it did - the food tasted fantastic - always does - that is not the issue and that is what got my 3 stars - would have gladly added 1 or maybe 2 more if the service & the odd combo of stuff in our box that we received - the enthusiasm of the staff in any way shape or form is lacking - just going through the motions & while not rude it is not exactly warm either - I witnessed at least 4 cars that were behind me bail out of line after ordering due to how long it took to pay at 1 window & get food at the next - my wait was near 35 minutes total (in a double drive thru!) - I did mention to the young lady taking food funds at the first window that they really need to speed things up since people were bailing out of line & she just rolled her eyes back at me .. no thank you either - I picked up my food at the next window & made my way home - we got a 12 piece meal and inside the box was 1 drumstick and a combo of all thighs & breast pieces - so you would think we made out in the end with so many big pieces of chicken - not so when you consider the drum stick fans that were disappointed - I thought perhaps we were being rewarded with the ample qty of bigger pieces for our long wait & then wondered if there were too many requests for all drum sticks in previous orders - regardless a little warning of what we were to expect would have been nice - will probably return but already dreading that long wait read more

Chicken up in Maple Heights on Warrensville Center Road the young lady that was training a new girl up at the front had her hands in her pants both hands and I asked that young lady to go wash her hands. .. she would not go wash your hands after pulling her pan hands out of her pants in front of me and I asked her to please go wash your hands and I did and I said okay when she refused she said this other young lady or take your order I said you know what no it's okay I don't want anything now she had her hands in her pants and we're not even going to wash her hands I cannot understand how you hire people who do so it's nasty and have such bad nasty habits so my husband and I left we walked out of the store because of that young lady refusing to follow sanitation guides guidelines in your store it is disgusting and something needs to be she needs to be fired she was witnessed having her hands in her pants read more
