I had the Beef Polish Boy a few days ago so delicious, definitely recommend

Let me start by saying, I rarely ever leave reviews. But I have to make an exception for this amazing soul food restaurant. From the very first visit, everything has been top-notch--the food is absolutely delicious, the service is excellent, and the location is convenient. The place is clean, nicely set up, and very well organized. What truly makes it stand out is the phenomenal staff. They are a wonderful family who work so well together, and their positive energy shines through. We've been here several times just this week alone, trying different menu items, and every single dish has surpassed my expectations. This is officially our go-to spot from now on. Gold star for this beautiful family and may all the blessings continue to flow their way.

Shout out to Taste of Northfield! I went there on 7/11 which was Friday. My son recommended them on Monday. I ordered the Perch dinner, when I tell you they didn't disappoint, listen to me ok! My family apparently had several selections from The Taste, they loved it all. The restaurant is nice and clean, the service was inviting. Hello, thank you, come again service. I probably will be going back today, which is Saturday to try that Polish boy that my family told me about. Oh yeah, price is right, nice portions. Love the crinkle fries aswell. Thank you Taste of Northfield for that old school flavor and service! Stay consistent and you'll stay in there

Brand New family Restaurant that opened in Northfield Ohio. I went on there 3rd day in business and they were very efficient for a new busy. The staff all were extremely friendly, appreciative and had a great vibe. The wait was a little longer than what was given but should be expected with a new open. I got the wing ding and fries with garlic parm sauce. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned just enough. They are take out only but the food stayed hot the whole ride home definitely give them a shot

I find the food to be to salty. The greens are mushy as well as being salty along with the salty catfish....

Dinner order was a Filet cooked medium for my husband and Salmon for myself. Filet came with no sides so we ordered Garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus at $11 each. Nowhere on the menu did it say the Salmon had a SPICY sauce or I wouldn't have ordered it. I couldn't eat it nor could my husband eat his filet that came out dry as a bone and ovecooked like it was sitting under a heat lamp. Saw our waiter long enough to take our order and then again when he presented us with the bill of $177.00. Never asked if we needed anything or enjoyed our meal, but sure came back in a hurry to collect his tip of 20% against my better judgment! WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

I call on the phone and they already know who I am and what I like to order, salmon rice bowl with no sauce. The service is top-notch. They are always making sure that it's done right or even show me my food before they put it in the bag to make sure that I'm satisfied and if not, they will make it right which they never had to do that and I just love it. I hear other items on the menu is really good too especially their wings. However I have not tried them personally because once I had this, it was just no way that I could give anything else a chance.

We had a 20 minute wait which is totally understandable on a busy Friday night as a walk in. We sat and waited for our food. I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture before I tried my food. My catfish dinner was fried to my liking, the fries are fresh cut and so delicious. My hushpuppies was delicious. My family tried the polish boy and the steak Philly and we all ate in silence. The portion size was great. We all have food left over. I can't wait to return. It just might be my new favorite small food point. It is black owned as well. I didnt get a dessert this time, because self control but next time, I'm going all in...lol. Great job Teedeez!

I think we tried everything but the spicy chicken and beef brisket were the favs of the group. Lots of sides and rice. Nobody left hungry that's for sure lol!! Service was great as well. Our main server was consistently checking on us and getting refills very fast. There were several other servers who stopped by as well. They changed the grilled quickly so we could keep cooking and stuffing our faces. Place was WAY bigger than I expected from the outside with plenty of seating and private-ish spaces. Plenty of parking. Great choice!!

Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.

Beware your car! They have painted and redesigned the inside and outside. They have a few tables inside but it looks like it transformed into more of a takeout place. We ate in cuz by the time we got home it be cold we wanted hot food. Ordered 4 piece fish with fries, hushpuppies and a drink. We split it. 2 pieces each. It was hot and as I remembered. Can't beat that crunch on the fish. Fries were not quite as crispy. But ok. I like the chips/fries they are thick and good with malt vinegar. Lots of people taking out after work. It's a popular stop. Much better than last time I was here. Doesn't smell like a fried fish when you leave. Much cleaner too. Good fish. Chicken as I recall is good too. Light batter and crunch. Flavorless lemon pie- literally lightly sort of just smelled like lemon but otherwise was super plain. The fish pieces were lukewarm and lacking in flavor and somewhat dry.
