Never coming back to this place. Took my wife's car for a wash. While they were drying off the car, I asked for a rag so I could wipe a spot on the inside of my windshield. Immediately after the young man handed me a rag, what I assumed to be a floor manager walked up and told me to give the rag back saying "that's for full service only, if you wanted that you should've gotten full service..." so apparently I needed full service to ask for a rag to wipe one little smudge of the windshield. Highly recommended by both my bother and my dad, the biggest car guys that I know. It's sort of in a neighborhood, or at least not out on the main drag. I found it eventually and queued up. Being a Saturday, I expected to wait and did so patiently. Robert G. approached "Juice the Spruce Beetle" and explained the packages. Since I had 500+ miles of bug guts plus years of inside grime, I went with the full deal inside and out. My favorite part was watching the car go through the wash. Yes, my inner 9-year old was thrilled and took a few photos. (Riding inside the car would have been the best, but then I would have been the one cleaning the dash!) Before selling my mom's car, we had to get it cleaned in both the interior and exterior. I hopped online, saw Mr. C's offered this service without a membership, and headed over. It was a Saturday, so pretty busy, but they have signs out that estimate the time before you get in line. There was one line for exterior wash only, and one for interior/exterior. I waited about 30 minutes, and then a nice young woman waved me forward for my turn. I opted for "the works" plus rubber mat cleaning, so my total was $34. After paying, I sat in their indoor waiting area, which has snacks/drinks and other miscellaneous items for purchase. I watched as the employees worked quickly and diligently on each vehicle, and my cleaning took no more than 10 minutes. I would say they did a pretty good job, but not great - there was still some things that needed further attention, but I understand they have to balance thoroughness with getting people through their cleanings quickly on such a busy day. Since Jax went to full membership only, I've been on the hunt for a good full service car wash in my area. I was driving out to 19 mile and Garfield for a while, but got tired of doing that and wanted to find something closer to home. After some searching, I found Mr. C's and decided to check them out. The car wash is in a half residential half business type area. I normally wouldn't drive this area but since I needed to get the car cleaned, I went to check it out. I've brought both my moms car and mine here for detailing, and it's absolutely fabulous. They do offer monthly memberships here if you're interested, but you're also more then welcome to pay each time you go as well, which is what I do. Pulling in, they have a few packages to choose from. The base one's $26, which includes an entire cleanout of your vehicle's interior, outside wash and window cleaning. You also get a vacuum as well. Washing of floor mats is extra. Rubber mats are about $1 each, fabric's about $2-$3 each. They also have two additional packages above that which includes tire shine and waxing. I usually don't get those, but they run about $32 and $35 each. I think if you want to get the car shampooed you could as well, but I don't need it nor have I asked about it, so please inquire within. While the wait's here are not always short, their always worth it. They have three bays here for you, 1 is for express washes, the other two are for full service. You pull in when they flag for you, you get out of your car and go over what you want done. The service here's really nice, and the people are really nice. After you decide what you want done, you then pay and walk into the lobby to wait for them to work on your vehicle. The few times I've been here, the lobby's always clean with ample seating. There's bathrooms available as well, along with a lost and found, snacks, drinks and a few air freshener's for sale. They also have a tray based on the honor system for tipping. Please don't forget to tip, even if it's only a dollar or two! you can watch your vehicle roll through the wash after it's been vacuumed out, and there's about 4 seperate dry lines with teams of people doing work. Things like window washing, wiping door seams, etc. When you're car's ready, they will flag for you, so make sure you're paying attention! Both my mom's car and mine were both done perfectly and I'm really happy I found this gem of a place. Even if Jax dropped their membership and allowed the public to wash there again, I prefer this place. It's how a full service place should be. Clean, professional, efficient and well run. While I don't need my car detailed every week, it's part of vehicle ownership when the dirt piles up in the summer and the salt and snow in the winter. I know $26 may seem like an investment, but I'm not going to do a better job myself and to be honest, who want's a filthy ride? No me! Please come check this place out. Finally, a good full service auto wash on this side of town! I cannot say enough good things about these people. read more

Decent car wash but full service cleaning interior and exterior was definitely lacking. My husband had to come home and vacuum between the seats and console, wipe out the cup holder and other holders in the middle console as well as the front of the dashboard. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this jewel of a car wash near downtown Rochester. My car desperately needed a car wash after the previous three weeks of winters snowy season. On beautiful sunny day in late February , I found probably another 30-40 people had the same idea. I was happy that the long double-lane line moved pretty swiftly. At line for full service while I watched the car in front of me not be touched nor start any sort of cleaning by any of the crew members for about 15 min. They apologized for the wait claiming limited staff, but this has been an ongoing problem. read more

Not too bad of a wash for the exterior. But lacked to clean the interior, didn't wipe the dust off the gauge cluster, diss vacuum under my mats, "cleaned the windows" (I had to re-clean the windshield myself because of how many smear marks they left). I don't know anything about detailing but I re-cleaned the windshield better than a detailing service which is just embarrassing for them. If I could get my money back I would. First Class carwash equipment. Nice employees. Always doing the tires and wheels and wiping off the inside door rails is a real plus in the winter. Under car rinse standard... I paid a premium for Bill's Best interior/exterior, but only run through with Bill's Best exterior. I run through with interior maybe once a week. For $10/month extra it's worth it. This business, like so many others, suffers from an employee available shortage. However, $16/hr plus shared tips leaves me wondering. After washing my vehicle at the Rochester, MI location I informed staff of substantial visible damage to a number of areas on the rear spoiler and rear windshield. Being a newer vehicle, I did note to the staff member making the report on site that the damage was not there prior to the wash, as they were trying to come up with all kinds of ideas to somehow place me at fault.. A damage report was poorly created and provided with photos taken, but in the end despite all efforts to have this corrected this business denied any responsibility. Having been a loyal customer since opening, I am highly disappointed. Needless to say, I will not be back and do not recommend this company to the public. read more

Paid for Bill's Best - tires were still dirty and shine was applied on half the tires. My car was still soaking wet after being dried and they barely wiped the door jambs (which I paid extra for). I went yesterday morning to get my car washed at the Rochester Mr. C's location and as my previous review mentioned they sometimes miss the front grill being clean so I asked them to make sure it was clean this time, the gentleman asked if it was okay before I drove off and I asked him to wash it again and he used a sponge but said anything more would be a full detailing needing to be done (the sponge was fine but thought it was an interesting comment) This is what spending $18 on a car wash and a $5 tip gets you here. read more

Hi there. I just left your location in Rochester. I live really close and usually go there once or so a week. I am extremely disappointed in the way that the employees have been cleaning my car. I usually don't make a stink about it. But today this put me over the top. As I first got in my car, I noticed that my front windshield was streaked really bad so I asked if they could wipe it down again. ( I always feel bad asking )Because I live so close, I didn't notice the other windows and wet cup holders, not to mention above the steering wheel and doors until I got home. If I had the time I would have brought it back. I don't want anyone to get in trouble, but this is ridiculous.
