My mother took her car here and paid for the shine & protect interior wash + mats ($34). After we get in the car once they washed it we see that they didn't clean the center counsole at all. There were crumbs left behind and leaves stuck in between the passenger seat and counsole. There was also marks from our dog along the console looking like they didn't even wipe it down. Additionally the passenger and driver side doors were not cleaned at all. I am very disappointed in the service and would not recommend this to other customers. read more

Used to be pretty decent car wash. They no longer hand dry your car thoroughly. Maybe about 20% gets wiped. I also talked to the general manager nothing changed. I even emailed them about the issue didn't even bother providing a response to me. Don't waste your money. read more

I have not been here for a while but always loved their service but today was terrible. I was there for almost an hour and had to leave for an appointment before they even got to the inside of my car. There was 1 car in front of Chen I pulled in and no one said that they were short staffed and a full service wash would take longer than an hour. At least I would have been able to make my own decision of staying or leaving before I paid $34 for a car wash that I didn't get. I love to go to this car wash to get my car detailed. They do an excellent job. However, today they did not. I had to call the manager over because they forgot to wipe down the console and the inside of the doors. On the way home I noticed they hadn't wiped anything around the steering wheel and other places. The manager said that they had hired some new people so he would have a talk with them. I hope so because there aren't any places that do interior anymore. read more

Kinda been irritated with Mr C's lately. I have unlimited washes, but good luck getting in. The wait is usually at least 30 minutes. The bigger issue is the maintenence of the car wash. Not happy with the wash quality. When I come out, the car still had soap suds all over the car and I can clearly see there are some inoperable nozzles that spray nothing while moving up and down. The interior cleaning is sub par but not enough for me to really complain as I'm not asking for a full detail and understand that. I think more employees, and taking responsibility and fixing the car wash would drastically improve the reviews. Don't open if your machinery isn't at 100% because all that makes me think is that all you car wash is about is the money. If it keeps up, I'm pulling my membership. read more

What happened to this place, used to be the gold standard for car washes? Never mind it was still filthy after paying $34 plus a 20% tip for "Bill's Best". Running a muddy vehicle through the wash with little to no prep is inexcusable. Car wash 101 is to give a proper spray down before running it the brushes and scratching the vehicle. I don't trust these poor reviews as being honest. Plus they're a year old. I pay a monthly subscription and am happy with the service. The employees are friendly, thorough and careful. They change the wiping towels for each car- they use new clean dry towels. Sure it's not as perfectly done as when I go to my BMW dealership, but I also don't have to wait a half hour and drive another thirty minutes each way. Compared to the other car washes within a ten-fifteen mile radius, you can't beat Mr. C's. I believe their prices are reasonable. read more

Been going thru the wash with my f350 crew cab 8 box for years get a bills best interior and exterior thru the exterior lane due to the fact the truck won't make the turn from the inside full service lane known from experience because they had to back me out of it before but some rude little women wanted to yell at me and argue about not letting me get my wash so had ro tell her let me out of here right now while they were packed won't be going back that service and interaction was TERRIBLE read more

I visited Mr. C's in Lake Orion today and got the $9 express wash. I had just returned from a road trip and the front of the car was covered with dead bugs. I didn't ask for any special attention to this area, but the workers scrubbed with several brushes to remove the bugs. They worked so diligently! The workers were very conscientious, polite, and professional. read more

We have the unlimited plan for each of our vehicles and find it to be a great value. The employees are kind and we've never had an issue. The wait can be long but if you are willing to return at an "off-time" it's great! One recommendation for this place of business would be to have the exterior only washes have a dedicated lane for tire dressing/door jams vs. non-dressing/door jams. That seems to be a bottleneck in the exterior only drying lanes. read more

I've noticed that the newest review for Mr. C's is over 4 months old so here's an update. Mr C" s has the most organized car washing process in the area, probably the Midwest. The crew is attentive, polite and all dressed alike and very thorough. They even put cloth around their belt buckles to avoid scratches. The air jets to blow out potentially streaking moisture is great. The crew gets on the car like ants and does a thorough job. I've never been disappointed. So where the 5th star? Well I know everyone is playing catch-up business wise post Covid theater but the prices at Mr C's are getting up there. $8 exterior with towel dry is a good value. Vacuums thrown in and you have a great value. But go for the full service and the minimum you're going to shell out is $24 plus tip! Shampoo the mats front and back and your out another ten spot. At this point your north of $30! With that I'll do it myself. The full service was $16 until not that long ago which seemed fair. My observation while I was there on a sunny July 5th. was exterior only very busy, full service not so much. Going back to my Econ 101 that's called elasticity of demand. Now they might be allocating labor, which is in short supply, by purposely pushing customers to the less labor heavy and less expensive exterior only service. Time will tell So all in all a great wash if pricey. Raise the prices any more and it won't be Mr. C's, it will be Mr. C-note! read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. The place looks great from the outside. You get inside and are greeted by some very angry people. They don't want to be there and they don't want you there. Tried to be objective... Could they do the job? First couple of visits, the wash was good and I signed up for the "subscription". Each subsequent visit (two), I received a new scratch on the vehicle. One I could buff out of the cover over the gas cap; the other is a deep scratch in the side mirror that can only be fixed by replacement. I added feedback about the scratches through the Mr C's phone app and heard nothing back. Needless to say, I canceled my subscription. read more

Great place to get a good car wash and interior clean. Now I've read a lot of the other comments and wonder what level of wash and interior the purchased and what their benchmark is. Every time I've been to Mr C's they've done a great job of getting the inside and outside respectably clean. It's not a detail job but then I'm not paying for a detail either. I think some people measure the quality based on the time it takes them. After all how can you clean an interior, etc. in 5-10 minutes? Well if you take and average of 5 people working on the car at once it's then 50 minutes they spent on the car. But my shining moment was the last time I was getting my vehicle back after their $21 wash and clean. As I went to get in the car the employee handed me a $20 and an Army medallion I had received recently. I did not know the $20 was there and assumed the medallion was somewhere in the house. They could have just kept them and I would not have been aware of it. Integrity still counts for something these days so they've won my loyalty and a $20 tip next time I'm in to lane 1. read more

Just had the most rushed service ever. By the time I got my car dried off 4 cars had been nicely dried off as I waited and watched them leave. They took so long on the vehicle in front of me therefore when they finally made it to me they dried my dry car off in 5 seconds which left water spots everywhere. I think this is the better car wash in town. They are a few dollars more than some of the other guys but they do a better job, and they take credit cards for the least expensive wash. If you're looking for a full detail, they offer a lot of options. read more

Second time for major disappointment. Does interior cleaning not mean vacuuming door walls, vacuuming, wiping down the entire interior and wow- maybe even the steering wheel? My husband's truck was left in poor condition. I drove off not realizing door walls were filled with wrappers and major dust on passenger interior. We've been going here for several years and they always do a good job. Sure, sometimes it is a long line, but you can see that going in. It is a good thorough wash with good drying. My most recent trip, they did an extra good job. With the town construction I've been using dirt roads. Before I even entered the wash, I swear the kid washed my whole car sparkling already. He did such an excellent job with the power hose. He really got in the wheel wells and I was very pleased. I've also had my car detailed here and definitely recommend it. read more

Not impressed. Last few times I've been there I have been disappointed. It really frustrates me that they towel dried my car while still covered in dirt. For what they charge, you expect a higher level of service and people who care about the finished product. Instead, I got to finish the job they started and polish out the surface scratches they left behind from drying the dirt into my paint. Not what I was hoping for. Good exterior wash, but extra services are not all they could be. Just paid $24 for an exterior/interior and they failed to vacuum my trunk (which needed it). Not sure why this price doesn't include that. I always have preferred Mr. C's over Jax solely for their convince in locations to me, I go between the Rochester and Lake Orion depending where I'm at when I get a wash. When they came out with the monthly subscription I jumped on it and was probably one of the first 10-20 people who signed up, picking the highest plan option. I get car washes so frequently its worth it, however at this location a couple weeks ago I was getting my car washed and this young man was finishing wiping the inside door jambs when he said I was good to go, I mentioned the passenger side tires hadn't been cleaned, he asked "what?" then rested his whole body weight on my dry cleaning wrinkling it and I told him the passenger tires weren't cleaned, he said yes they were, to which I replied I watched and nobody did he said no they were I watched with a rude look on his face - then I said I'm pretty sure they weren't and again he said no they did and proceeded to argue with me until he huffed and puffed and said whatever I'll do them again. I see his point of view but if a customer mentions you didn't do the tires/rims at least LOOK at them before arguing with me about it and giving an attitude about cleaning them again - all while wrinkling my freshly picked up dry cleaning because his body weight couldn't support himself without resting. Half the time my car isn't even dried properly here, the least they could do is make sure they're offering the services provided. read more

First let me start off by saying Mr. C's car washes are probably the best around. However, the process and it's efficiency vary from location. Unfortunately, the location in Lake Orion suffers from long wait times and is extremely understaffed. This proves problematic as often the conveyor belt will stop allowing for detergents and other chemicals to dry on your vehicle...yes, you will be stopped for this long. All said and done, got a works wash that took over 40 minutes to complete...yes, over 40 minutes. My time is too valuable to wash my car at this location. read more

Great device and a good deal. Yes there are lines on a nice sunny winter day, however I have come back in 10 mins and no line. It is more "old school" than the car wash places I have gone through.
