Left a message with a young lady and had a call back within an hour. Aaron told me he would be to the house sometime after 1pm. TODAY! Aaron showed up almost exactly at 1pm! Score! He took a look at our 30 year old hose bib and gave me several options. We could try to fix it ourselves, he could try to fix it, or he could replace it. The cost difference for him to repair vs replace was not much (in the grand scheme of things) and after a quick phone call to the hubby, we decided to be done with it and not worry about it again for 15-20 years. Aaron had all of the necessary tools and parts in his truck (which was clean, newish, and well-maintained) and had the job done in about an hour. The job required a small square of drywall be removed for access and he was very careful not to make a mess. In fact, I don't think there was any dust left at all! He repacked the space with the insulation also, which was very kind. I was able to pay with a credit card (I think they will also take a check) and received a detailed invoice for future reference. He told me a job like this they would guarantee for 5 years, which sounds reasonable to me. I really can't thank Aaron and Drain Away enough. They are spot on, top notch. At Shirey's suggestion, we used TimberTech Azek boards and found a MAXI version in Coastline grey. We're now done except for the custom railing on order, and couldn't be happier. Lead carpenter Bryan is a deck mastermind who was great at figuring out sound, good-looking solutions to our issues. Both he and fellow carpenter Jeromy were highly skilled and efficient, left the work site immaculate at the end of every day and were also just nice to have around. We like the results so much we added fascia and new board for our catwalks to the original agreement. Shirey's inside staff -- coordinator Ashley and bookkeeper Brenda -- are equally great, and especially good at timely, clear communication.
