Here's the kitchen right after they installed the counter. It looks fantastic!

I just had KT install my cabinets and quartz countertop this week. Jayden put the project together for me and offered a very competitive bid. He also saw the project through, including scheduling the installers, who were all very good and smart people. I am extremely happy with the work and the product. Thanks Jayden! I have attached a couple of pictures right after the counter install, so no lighting or extras yet.

another view... how he managed to fall asleep/ snoring while waiting for his partner to bring food for their "lunch break"

My husband and I were trying to decide on where to go since we were planning to remodel our kitchen. We had wanted to replace all our cabinets and counter top. He came here on his own. Told me how their lack of customer service was meaning, no greeting or acknowledgment that you had walked into their store. In any case, he managed to talk to Ryan, and he gave some estimates since my husband brought pictures and measurements. Ryan gave an estimate quote, and my husband said he would need to shop around. A few days later, Ryan actually contacted my husband, and was willing to go lower, and we thought it was a good deal since it was within what our budget was. The following week, I had gone with my husband since he wanted me to pick the counter top, even though he picked a certain one. When we actually talked to Ryan again to let him know, there was a confusion since the cabinet color for the counter top area would be different than the above cabinets on the wall, which was why the estimate quote was cheaper. Ryan was accommodating after we kept changing our minds, and of course, the price changed. Throughout that whole time, he was great at communicating to my husband whether a phone call or via email. The project took 2 days. First group put cabinets and the other group did the counter tops. Now, my irritation was when the first group came, they made a dent in our wall while bringing in the cabinets, and broke our water pipe...so, we had to shut the water off, which was hard to do since I have kids that need to do #1/ #2 all the time while these guys were working. My husband told Ryan about it. Not sure if there was a response for that, but I do have to admit that one of the workers did do a nice thing for us and gave a couple of gift cards, even though we didn't expect that. We even bought a quick lunch for them since they did work all the way through despite this mishap without having a break, but that's just us since we're just nice. Unfortunately, my husband had to keep going to Lowe's in order to try and fix the water pipe after this first group left, and I felt it wasted his time/ money. The 2nd group (2 workers) on the following day was supposed to show up at 11am, and my husband had contacted Ryan on basically what's the hold up. They didn't show up until noon. They worked for a few hours, and apparently needed a "lunch" break, which was fine. When I came home from picking up my kids on their Cub/ Girl Scout trip, I didn't know that one of the workers was in the house, until my husband told me that he had asked him to come inside since he felt it was too cold since the other guy went to get some food. I didn't get a view of the kitchen yet, but when I did, I was shocked to see him laying on our unfinished kitchen counter, falling asleep and snoring. I was appalled. Even though my husband was nice to have him come inside, but sit your ass on the couch, NOT sprawled out on our kitchen counter where we put food, where we eat at or entertain guests. It was disgusting and so disrespectful and inappropriate! My husband finally told him to get off after I was being completely annoyed, even though he should've said from the beginning. I was even telling my husband where the hell is the other guy? what's taking him so long to get food? Did he cross the border or something? Even though, the cabinets/ countertops were placed well (so far)... I can't condone about how the workers did. We emailed Ryan about these incidences, and even mentioned how now our wood floors are puffing or buckling due to the broken water pipe, and so the panels are unleveled, and with the guy laying on my counter top...it's still disgusting. We showed him pictures, and requested a possible discount since everything seemed like an inconvenience. Well, Ryan hasn't emailed back and it's been a few days, and this was the one who was so communicative in the beginning, but yeah, since they got our money, apparently they're not wanting to redeem themselves in their business ethics (if there is one) With that... I'm NEVER going to recommend people to this place.

This is our slipping backsplash, that KT will not repair.

If Zero Stars was possible, I would give it. This company is impossible to work with. Customer Service? NON EXISTENT. Like have appointments cancelled at the last minute? We sure don't, but that is what you can expect from this company. The granite that was installed throughout our home looks nice, but the entire back splash in our Kitchen is falling away from the wall, and they wont fix it. I would NEVER work with these people. The only reason we even have contact with them is because the builder of our home contracted through them. He has already sworn to never use them. It's unfortunate that people like this exist in the business industry, and don't get that the customer comes first.

    Great Prices, Great Quality

We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

Honestly, my last time here was back in 2022 when I needed furniture myself, so I don't come here very often. The building itself is massive and huge, housing many sections filled with furniture and tools of different kinds like for the kitchen, living room and bathroom, along with rooms for lighting and the warehouse where you can grab your stuff. This isn't even the bulk of it, and we spent a while in here while also getting some dessert! DISCLAIMER: If you're here for just food and/or know how IKEA works, you can skip the next two paragraphs of this review. When you get in, you can pick up a brochure outlining the approximate layout of the building's section and a small pencil. For almost every room, the larger furnitures have numbers on them that correspond to the parts you pick up yourself from their warehouse section, which comes just before the cash registers. There are smaller objects like small lamps, nuts and bolts, fixtures and pots that you can just pick up and put in your cart/bag. Even though each area is numbered a certain way and the map on the brochure looks linear, you can skip sections via shortcuts placed throughout. Otherwise, you follow the nicely placed arrows guiding you through all the sections and just enjoy the placements of some of the things you wanna get. I found myself oogling over the kitchen and bedroom setups every once in a while! Once you're done with all of that, you can purchase your items either through self checkout or at the registers where staff help you. Some of them also stay by the self-checkout areas and assist those who have trouble with some of the features. Some simple tips I have for grabbing objects: - Depending on what you get, make sure you grab ALL the parts for the stuff you get in the warehouse! They're usually clearly labeled but it's easy to miss some of them. - My friend used the IKEA app and came prepared ahead of time with a long list of items he wanted. He used some of the computers spread around the store to help him find which specific room carried the object(s) he was looking for. - Writing the numbers for larger goodies isn't always helpful as you might not remember what an object looks like when you reach the warehouse. I usually take photos of that number along with the object so I can gauge if I'm getting the right things. After doing all that shopping, we stopped by the small cafe just after the cash registers and got ourselves their frozen yogurt, which essentially tastes like vanilla ice cream but has a slightly different consistency from regular ice cream, something I can only describe as being a lot smoother than ice cream and a little tart. The cone it's served in is your standard ice cream cone. From friends who love going here, they advise to go during weekdays when it's not as packed, and to not try the overhype Swedish meatballs either. Since I'm a foodie, I'm gonna do the latter next time I come here!

Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.
