I called to get service on my refrigerator. He came out and said he didn't think he could repair…read moreit and had watched several YouTube videos and how to fix my ice maker. He charged me $80 for this visit. Told me he would return in a few days to see if he could find a fix for the ice maker. He came back and took a hair dryer to clear ice in the ice maker and then used a tube of silicone to seal around the unit. Told me he didn't know if this would work and not to buy Samsung refrigerators. I was charged $65 for this visit. I told him I had already paid for the service call and didn't think I should have to pay again. The first time he came out he didn't do anything except open the freezer door and close it after telling me he probably wouldn't be able to fix it. I spent $80 for a ten minute visit. Sorry to say I will not be recommending this repair service.

Texan Appliance Repair came out the next day after I called them about my washing machine not…read moreworking. Jorge was on time and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Unfortunately the part that failed was obsolete and even if it could be found, would cost over half the price of a new washer. I appreciate the honesty and the helpful information on how to avoid my problem in the future. I definitely reccomend Texan Appliance Repair and will call them for future repair needs.

Jorge arrives as scheduled and does a replacement with a genuine part and all is good... except not. The ice maker tried to live but in the end refused to reliably work... call Jorge the Appliance Master and he arrives on time with tools and declares the unit d-e-a-d. THE IMPORTANT BIT - he got the replacement and returned as promised, against traffic none the less!, replacing the old unit quick and sharp. WHY? is that the important bit, Billy? because service after the sale, especially warranty service, is how you tell the good providers from the GREAT in any field.
