Initially they told me that my $125 could be applied to my repair, but now I am out $125 and had to pay a different company to come fix my refrigerator. Upon asking for a refund I was told they refuse to refund me, but will apply the $125 to a different service (which I don't need). I am a newly divorced single mother and this company made my already difficult situation worse by costing me more money than I needed to spend on this expensive repair. I was upfront with them about the problem, but they were not honest upfront about not being able to fix the issue. They sent the technician anyway and charged me for nothing. Had I known they couldn't fix a refrigerator I would have called someone else who could.

He charged me $80 for this visit. Told me he would return in a few days to see if he could find a fix for the ice maker. He came back and took a hair dryer to clear ice in the ice maker and then used a tube of silicone to seal around the unit. Told me he didn't know if this would work and not to buy Samsung refrigerators. I was charged $65 for this visit. I told him I had already paid for the service call and didn't think I should have to pay again. The first time he came out he didn't do anything except open the freezer door and close it after telling me he probably wouldn't be able to fix it. I spent $80 for a ten minute visit. Sorry to say I will not be recommending this repair service.

THE IMPORTANT BIT - he got the replacement and returned as promised, against traffic none the less!, replacing the old unit quick and sharp. WHY? is that the important bit, Billy? because service after the sale, especially warranty service, is how you tell the good providers from the GREAT in any field.
