Divey and a decent place to catch up with folks in some booths. More of a local spot which is fun.

Small and intimate cocktail bar tucked away in the Two Bridges area, has a cozy feel and pretty decent drinks. Loved their spicy berry margarita and the old fashioned was also pretty dope. Bartender is great, we went on a relatively quiet Sunday and he did not hold back on the pours which is always appreciated! Prices are fairly standard, around $15 per cocktail.

Great spot! One of the oldest bars in the city according to my friend, which I choose to believe without confirming

Stopped by one rainy Saturday afternoon for a couple of drinks. I chose the Tequila Flower while my partner got the Tequila Zombie. Both were okay, nothing particularly special. Prices have risen since some of the menus were posted on Yelp - as of Oct 2023, cocktails were $15 each. That said, the service was friendly and quick. It's worth a try if you're looking for a lowkey spot in the area, but I would likely try a new spot vs. returning again.

So in full transparency, I had NO idea this place was here. I have walked from Monk McGinn's to Old Man Hustle/Clockwork bar, more times than I can count (or remember). Had I know this place was in the middle, I absolutely would have stopped in, but that's the thing...they don't seem to advertise...like at all. Anywho, we finally made our way in here (courtesy of some friends in the know), and I liked what I found. Mostly the scorpion bowl for four*, and the low key atmosphere. Yeah, it was a little quirky (the backward writing on half the drinks sign? I know you're going for a theme, but don't make it hard to read what drinks you're slinging are for half the bar), but all in I enjoyed it. The bartender that was on was also super down to earth and easy to talk to, so that helped a bunch. Come here for a pitstop between lower manhattan and the Lower East Side, stay for a killer scorpion bowl. ________________ * Or, if you're a lush like me, you can split this with a friend.

It's my favorite. I live around the block from here and I think about the Ginger Michaelada day and night (add tequila, of course). The bar tenders are REALLY COOL and super nice. Absolutely love it, I will come here again and again.

Three stars is for okay right? I like this bar because their cocktails are cool and the overall ambiance is nice, but I don't like this bar because the cocktails are overpriced, the crowd is very obnoxious (weekend nights are awful, just annoying people hovering your tiny table), and the bartenders are not attentive. Whether they're understaffed or just don't care about their customers. Would I go back here? If i want to change it up but after visiting here a few times, I don't think it made my go-to Downtown bars.

Fun, dark little bar in Two Bridges. We stopped by for a drink before going to an early dinner in Chinatown, and it was pretty empty (this was 5pm on a Saturday). We all got the Fong's colada, which was AMAZING. I really dislike most pina coladas, and am very picky about coconut in drinks. But you need to get this. Also love the beautiful frosted glasses they serve the cocktails in, which have cranes on them. I will be back!

Fong's Colada. Downed a few of these on a recent hot summer's evening.

Great little bar in the area that serves extremely cheap cans of beer and some interesting snack foods.

Great cocktail bar with cool tales in classics. Try the Salty Plum Old Fashioned and get a side of the snack mix.

It's very different from what I normally see and as soon as I saw the Pepperoncini Martini (the very first drink!) I knew I had to have it.

We had the sliders, mozz sticks & fried pickles and were happy with all of them and the prices. Drinks were also good. This place is very small, with maybe 3 tables, a small couch seating area, and seats around the bar. To snag a happy hour table, getting there before 5 is preferable. It can get loud in there, but it's a great spot!

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.
