Hands down the best Mr. Gatti's Pizza we've ever been to! Since there aren't any Mr. Gatti's locations near where we live, this was such a special treat for us -- especially because it's a childhood favorite for both my husband and me. Everything was absolutely spotless -- the restaurant, buffet bar, salad bar, arcade, and even the restrooms were immaculately clean. There was plenty of staff, tables were cleared quickly, and the entire place was so well maintained. The owner, aka Batman, was incredibly kind, and you can truly tell how much he cares about his business, his employees, and his customers. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We will definitely be back when we are in Lake Charles! read more

I stopped in for lunch on December 5th and instead of a transaction I had a fantastic experience. The reason was the owner Richard Shelter approached me and engaged me in a fantastic conversation. It was evident after 5 minutes that this business leader is totally committed to his community and his customers. After leaving I discovered that the franchise's highest honor is called Brand Icon Award. In the long history of the Mr. Gatti's, it only has been given out 3 times. I took my grandson to eat at Mr Gatti's in Lake Charles recently. Not only was the food great, the service was awesome, and the restaurant was super clean. They have a salad bar, pizza, and pizza dessert buffet. They may have other items, but the buffet is all I need. Let me preface this by saying I don't like buffets and pizza isn't my favorite food. Mr. Gatti's is clean and the workers are always really courteous. The pizza is actually REALLY pretty good! The Game Center is fun and much better than Chuck E. Cheese. It's small but it has a good selection of games. The managers are always on the floor making sure things run smoothly and will ask if you have any pizza requests for the buffet if they don't have the one you're looking for. I love coming here during the quieter hours and having the Game Center even less crowded. I definitely recommend mr. My childhood favorite topping was simple, cheese. Now my favorite pizza topping would have to be pepperoni and mushroom. Though my husband's favorite pizza topping is hamburger. Mr. Gatti's has a special place in my family's heart. As kids, my parents took my siblings and I to Gatti's often. We loved playing in Gatti Land, and what kid doesn't love pizza?! We were staying at the golden nugget and were looking to take our kids somewhere so we stopped in. This was truly a gem to find. It was so, so clean and they have huge tv screens. Still good pizza...We used to eat Mr. Gatti's as a kid. It was the place to be on a Friday night after the game. Those days are gone but the good tasting pizza hasn't changed. The pizza itself is on par with the big names like Pizza Hut and Domino's, slightly better but lacking the selection of CiCi's. We go here every now and then for the buffet because it's relatively inexpensive, quick, and convenient. Things have change since I was a kid here. The pizza was the best but now it's just okay. It may be because Chuckle Cheese wasn't around back then but now I feel like They are low on the polls. Last time I visited it wasn't the best experience, but I've been eating Gatti's practically my whole life. I love it. The basic hamburger pizza is my all-time favorite, and they have one of my favorite pepperoni pizzas as well. Watch the salad bar because a lot of the kids who frequent the restaurant like to play in it and mix toppings. Gross. The buffet is where it's at for most people. Last time it was a little too busy and you pretty much had to hustle to get anything decent off the buffet. But hell, it's way better than most buffet pizza you're going to get. The long, slow decline of this place since my childhood has been painful to watch. The pizza is still okay, but the rest of the experience is pretty disappointing now. They're in bad need of expansion to declutter the extremely crowded floor space. Tables are practically on top of each other, and expect to catch a few elbows if you visit the salad bar or try to refill a drink. I hate to send my kids into that game room. I went into Gattis with my family on today, the cashier was very friendly, myself an huaband an 3 kids,fixed our food an sat down to eat when my 10 year old had a peice of what looked like glass in her pizza I then took the substance an showed the same cashier that checked us out,an she called her manager over to look at it,he asked what pizza it was on an then removed the pizza from the line,an he wasnt apologetic at all.I didn't feel safe eating after that,I asked the manager for a refund an he seemed to be upset,an he stated "well y'all have been eating 10-15 mins now" which was very unacceptable he gave the refund back still without any compassion towords what had happened.In happy this wasn't a infent child that could have really been seriously hurt.I will Never in my life go back here again!
