The controller went bad so I contacted Rheem and they sent a new controller. Rheem recommended Mitch Wright so I contacted them. I had the new part. Their guy showed up and installed the new part I supplied in about 10 minutes with a few hand tools. Yeah he did a decent job, the problem isn't with the person that did the work or what he did. Mitch Wright charged me a $90 diagnostic fee, THEN they had the audacity to charge an additional $200 for labor!?!?! $290 for about 10 minutes worth of work with hand tools. No actual diagnostics or troubleshooting were done. TOTAL HIGHWAY ROBBERY! $100 to $150 would have been fair, and I was prepared to pay that. These assholes are way too proud of their service and prices.

House built in 2017. Major water leak this past week. Plumber who came to repair found that the…read morenipple installed at the water meter was black iron pipe. Both against code (NSF/ANSI 61-2024) and ILLEGAL! Nipple had corroded causing leak and had corroded to the point that he cannot remove the coupling attaching it to the meter. Have to get city involved which also means report the violation to the city. $300 so far plus water bill and who knows how much more to come due to this incompetance not to mention the dangers of drinking possibly contaminated water for the past eight (8) years!

called my warranty company AHS on 3/4/22 for faucet leaks. Ken himself has been to the house 5…read moretimes and still has not fixed all the leaks. Next week it will be 3 months. He has order the wrong parts multiple times. He still doesn't have the correct faucet or cartridge for the repair. In fact he put in a wrong cartridge in my shower with no leak--hot water issue to start with and now it is badly leaking!! The home warranty company is a joke to deal with (that's a separate issue) and he is not responding to my calls or texts. Please don't let the "he fixed my clog" reviews mislead you, he can fix clogs I'm sure but anything more I'm not convince. He especially doesn't seem to care about timeliness and customer's concerns.--Update (5/27/22) American Home Shield is now investigating this vendor and has this case escalated.
