Let's start off this review by saying the buffet was flat out bomb!! The hours for this great deal is from 11am-3pm. I wish I knew the hours in advance because we came here right at 2:30pm. Did that make us rush on trying to get everything? No! Staff was friendly, food was great (I love the season chicken, not sure what the correct name, but it had an little kick to it) Also, they had this meat that was sorta like a meatloaf...YUMMY!! For the short time my family and I got to eat, we managed to eat alot. I'm not a big fan of buffets anymore, but we did enjoy every single bite. Price came out to around $38 bucks 2 adults, 1 child + 3 drinks. My wife and I will more than likely return to this place. Thanks for the good eats. read more

The food was definitely subpar - we ate a small portion & ended up just throwing the rest out. And during the height of COVID the guy who took our order told us he wasn't vaccinated, wouldn't wear a mask & had been to COVID parties trying to catch it. He was very opinionated. We came here for the lunch buffet and loved it. It's Middle Eastern food but mostly Syrian and Lebanese dishes. The buffet consists of fresh salad rice several kinds of hummus, chips, two chicken dishes, mutton, and more. then there's several types of sweet desserts to end the meal. Very delicious. This is best in the area maybe even farther. The owners are wonderful. I have been going here for years. I followed them from Riverside. The food is delicious!!! I eat here often, but my daughter requests food from here every birthday. That says a lot because of all the food she could chose this is by far her favorite and ours. She loves the shawarma meal. The baklava and especially the falafel and hummus. Oh and can't forget to add the toum for an extra garlicky kick. If you want authentic cuisine I highly recommend you eat here. The food and staff were amazing! Stopped by for some good Mediterranean food. I got the Chicken Shawarma which came w hummus ( hummus was flavorful), the chicken, rice and salad. I requested my meal w no rice and instead asked for extra salad. The salad was absolutely amazing as well. I asked for a side of Feta cheese (which they brought more than enough of) for my salad:) over all, I was amazed & if back in town, I will for sure be back ^_^ read more

I stopped by here last Thursday and I've already come back again! Their Mediterranean menu is very diverse depending on how fancy you want to get: my first visit I got a quail + lamb kebab plate and a beer totaling about $20, and my second visit I settled for just a chicken shawerma (a sandwich) and it was only $5.50. Both were delicious. I highly recommend trying this place out for lunch or dinner if you're around Redlands or Loma Linda. read more

This place is really good. If you are craving Mediterranean food in the area, it totally hits the spot. We ordered a mixed plate of beef shawerma and kafta kabob. I really enjoyed the flavor of kafta kabob. The portion is also big and definitely shareable. The service here is also really good. Our server was very nice and attentive. My husband and I came here during their lunch buffet. When we got here there was a couple people scattered in the resturaunt. By the time the waiter took our drink order( which was about 2 minutes later) it was full.. Boy let me tell you. It seemed i just turned around for a minute. Anyway. Their food was ok. The price for the all you can eat buffet of 13.99 was good. I left feeling full and not groggy like other buffets which leaves you feeling full and sluggish. I'm in love with this restaurant!!! I can't find anything else like it! Their falafel wrap and cauliflower wrap are awesome! The best thing you can get is one of their platters! We split the vegetarian platter and still have food to take home, and it's very reasonably priced! Wonderful service!! read more

The firsttime first time i tried Mr. Kebab was their store that closed in Highland. It was ok. This one is great. Ive only ever had the lunch buffet. That's all I need. A nice selection of grilled beef, and chicken. Tabuli salad and hummus. Veggies, pita, dips and spreads. There is also a desert bar with baklava and other pastries. You will stuff yourself with the fresh offerings. Cateful, it may be hard to get back to work after the food coma. read more

Love coming here!! The food & service are always top notch. I highly recommend their beef shwarma plate, their hummus, and their kibbeh alllll so tasty. You absolutely cannot go wrong with anything you order from their menu. My mom is Jordanian and tried their rice pudding and said it tasted just like it did from when she was a child. I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the food (falafel was okay, which is my favorite), but it was interesting to try lots of foods I have never seen before. The best items are the hummus, baklava, and what I think was some sort of caramel flan/custard. Probably wouldn't go back next time I'm craving Mediterranean food. read more

The food was great especially the rice. Nice and soft. As soon as we walked in the greeting was warm and inviting. It was quiet inside the restaurant. Ordered a few things such as shawarma sandwiches, burgers and falafel sandwiches. Very mediocre, nothing special. I had only a bite of the shawarma and I was already done. They need more flavor and I feel like they just added the chicken and garlic and called it a day. Very disappointing. Also I was really excited about a halal option in this area but that's too bad they didn't live up to their standards. I'm going to come back again because I have heard their lunch buffet is really good, so hopefully second times a charm. read more

Beautiful establishment here I was helped with a pickup over the phone by a wonderful gentleman very prompt and let me pay over the phone with no issues. The food was very delicious and made my Friday after not eating all day and dealing with traffic arriving here was a heaven sent my order was ready when i got there and was greeted like family and decided i wanted to order some more and with no problems my food was ready. I actually went as far as double checking on reddit and the votes were definitely in! This place seemed legit so I had to try it. It's located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. There are several restaurants in the area, while Niko Niko is tucked away near the water fountains out front. As I arrived, they quickly sat me at the bar area and my typical rainbow roll and I tried their snow cone roll. The rolls were so good and the fish was fresh! I loved the sweet sauce that was added to the snow cone roll. After about 20 mins, the chef, who's name is Yaser, started asking me what my favorite fish is and why I like it. I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. My mind was blown!! I actually like salmon skin lol. It was so good! Overall, I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko and Chef Yaser. I left him a generous tip for the experience and he changed the way I will forever dine at a sushi bar now. Inside is all reclaimed wood and cozy tables, people working on laptops, the coolest Redlands City Limits sign, kids flipping through board games and books in the corner, soft chatter, good energy. Pro tip: get in line as soon as you get there because it fills up fast and the line can absolutely go out the door. I had the chai latte (so good), a cheese danish (dangerous), and an Everlasting Ferments kombucha...the Habanero Ginger is a sleeper hit. You can also snag breakfast burritos if you're lucky (they sell out), or freshly made stuffed waffles from a vendor outside, which somehow makes the whole experience feel extra charming. There are cute little café tables all around and a tucked-away, walled patio in the back that's perfect for bigger groups. Already planning future coffee dates.
