I would have given this establishment 5 stars based on the friendliness of the staff and quality of the food. However, I am basing my 3 star rating on the lack of health and safety practices while I was there. Having to watch an employee, or family member, put on her makeup and use a curling iron on her hair while seated at a booth within full view of the patrons was a bit unappealing, and definitely not good for one's appetite. To the owner, perhaps having your employees, or family members prepare for work at home, rather than inside the restaurant would be a good practice to enforce. read more

Never thought i would find Egyptian cuisine in Colton but here we are. The food was pretty good it's very fragrant and they're generous with the spices. I love how the chef caters to younger clientele because there's dishes younger people would enjoy like their loaded fries. I tried them for the first time and I decided to go with the falafel wrap. So microwaving my food with chicken that was cooked in the morning. Sitting in a warmer till 6:30. All the signs name and other suggestions point this place to a chicken restaurant. It's far from it. It's a short patient. Muslim ran restaurant that literally insults you for asking questions. My food was done before I could even finish looking at the menu. No vegetables no sauces no garnishes. A waste of $17 for a chicken bowl. I could've bought a frozen pack of this at Stater Brothers for eight dollars in microwaved it myself. read more

So the only thing I've had here is the kafta/kofta and falafel. Both were really good, although it was pretty expensive for the kofta wrap and a side a falafel. I want to say I spent at least $30. I will come back and try the Shawarma. The interior is really clean, really spacey. And the lady who helped me was really nice. We live in Grand Terrace and we remember Chick N Falafel opening in a building that had been vacant for years. When they first opened, we didn't see any vehicles in the parking lot, and that had us worried. We finally decided to try it, was brave enough to enter and order. We had the lamb and chicken kabobs. OMG! Between the service, the hospitality, and the excellent food, needless to say, we loved it! We are here now about once a week! The food is wonderful! It's worth a try. Just even once. read more

It was really good. The rice was greatly seasoned and it was a great portion for the price. Definitely split this and have for a two part meal. It came out hot fresh and ready and has good flavor.
