Well, I write this review as a follow-up to my prior critique; specifically, to apprised all that Italia Bella no longer provides in-house dining. The tremendous demand for 'take-out' and catered events made taking staff to remain on-site to service and hand-full of tables impractical, versus using these staff to respond to rapidly increasing demands for take-out & event catering. I must say however, while my wife and I genuinely miss the dine-in opportunity we have enjoyed for here many years, we still call upon Italia Bella's wonderful menu to provide amazing take-out meals. Still, every bit as superb as enjoyed when previously dining in-house. In my opinion, this remains the place to go for the absolute best Italian dining one will find in the Inland Empire! Keep in mind...even Camelot didn't last forever. As such, I recommend you order take-out, or have these folks cater your next big event, and create the ambiance of your choosing, while enjoying a remarkably memorable evening of amazing Italian dining...you're welcome! read more

5/5 - Even Better the Second Time! After an incredible first visit to Italia Belle, I couldn't wait to come back--and it did not disappoint! This place is a true gem in Yucaipa, and my second experience confirmed everything I loved the first time and more. Food: We started with a large Caesar salad that was perfectly dressed with crisp, fresh lettuce and just the right amount of crunch and flavor. We also shared a bowl of their Pasta Fagioli soup--hands down one of my favorite items on the menu. It was so good last time that I made sure to order a large bowl this time, and it was just as hearty and delicious as I remembered. For our entrées: * I had the Stuffed Eggplant Arrabiata and ordered it spicy--it had just the right kick and was packed with flavor. * My fiancé ordered the Gnocchi with Broccoli, and it was honestly some of the best gnocchi I've had since visiting Italy. * My dad went with the Chicken Parmigiana with Penne, and it was cooked to perfection. To top it off, we took home a slice of their chocolate cake--it was rich and flavorful without being overly sweet. A perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Service: The service here is always a highlight. We were warmly greeted by the familiar faces of what I believe are the owner and his son--both incredibly kind and clearly passionate about what they do. Our server, Andrew, was fantastic. He handled the full dining room and a steady stream of to-go orders seamlessly, all while keeping drinks filled and checking in on every table with genuine care. He even greeted multiple to-go customers by name--proof that this place is a well-loved staple in the community. Ambiance: Italia Belle has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both homey and thoughtful. You can tell a lot of love and detail has gone into creating this space. Though it's a smaller restaurant, it was completely full during our visit--a testament to the quality and care that goes into every part of the experience. I'm so glad I had the chance to come back to Italia Belle, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Italia Bella has quickly become one of my favorite Italian spots I've ever been to. It's a small restaurant inside, but the quality and quantity of the food make a huge impression. I've ordered delivery several times, and it's always been consistent and delicious. The chicken parmigiana is my absolute favorite--perfectly cooked with just the right crunch and plenty of cheese. Their sauces are rich and flavorful every time, no matter what I order. Overall, Italia Bella delivers authentic taste, generous portions, and great value. Definitely a go-to Italian place in Yucaipa! It's nothing fancy inside, but who cares? You get great customer service from the servers. Definitely a good stop for anyone craving pastas. read more

We love getting the cream of broccoli soup and the antipasto salad to start. That soup is the best broccoli soup around. Normally we get the Italian sandwich which is delicious. This time around we tried the chicken marsala and the chicken piccata and both were really good. Next time we are going to try the stuffed eggplant and 4 cheese ravioli. Gem in small town! Located a few blocks off the freeway in a shopping center is a great little Italian restaurant. We ordered the linguine with the house sauce w sausage, the spinach ravioli's and the kids had penne & meat sauce with chicken. Our favorite was the linguine, great taste. The least favorite would be the raviolis. They were OK nothing to write home about and you get five or six raviolis which we felt was poor value for a $16 plate. Each one came with a very small piece of bread although hot and delicious. It's literally a two-bite portion. (Make sure to order the rolls). The Canollis are house made, they were delicious. All sauces are made in house as well. Limited seating, but everyone in there was very nice to deal with. read more

My wife and I showed up @ 7:20 and asked if we could have a table, they were all empty. We were promptly told NO! I asked why and the guy said we don't seat people when we are close to closing. I'm like what are you for real. It's 40 minutes till you close and all you need to do is bring us a couple plates of food. He said you can order take out. I said no thanks. That's just the worst business practice in the world. Refusing customers and money! WOW... How short sighted and dumb. We will never go back and hope others do not support this business. They do not deserve your patronage and money! In response to Mina... You are absolutely correct it's not always about the money... It is however about service. Refusing service 40 minutes before your advertised closing time is not a good experience. Keep up that attitude and business practices of refusing to seat tables 40 minutes before closing and you will lose the loyalty of your customers as you have lost mine... Mina... I've been in the restaurant industry for many years... Just some sound advise here... Do not tell your customers they can't sit in your restaurant because it's close to closing. Those tables are for rent and are revenue for the owner. The rent those tables bring in pays the bills and your salary! Rather explain to your customers that you will be closing in 40 minutes and that payment needs to be completed before 8:00. And you would appreciate if they could finish the meal by 8:30. Most people would easily be done by 8:00 or 8:10 at the latest. That's almost one hour to eat which is more than enough time. You would build more good will with customers that come in close to closing with this approach and entice them to come back rather than alienating a customer like me, and I'm sure I'm not the first, who will never come back. Think of the potential revenue if your actions would have turned me into a loyal and frequent customer. Now think of all the lost revenue. Just some food for thought. First and last time ordering from here. I NEVER complain, but this food wasn't even edible. The chicken in all our pastas was so dry we could barely chew it. My son kept spitting it out (he's 2 but normally loves chicken). The pesto sauce was watery and bland and the pasta was so overcooked it was mushy and had big chunks of uncooked garlic. The meat lasagna tasted like it was boiled in toilet water and the meat was chewy. The chocolate cake was beyond dry and grainy. I'm so disappointed in the amount of money our family spent here. Vibe: feels like a to go place, with very few tables. No waiting area. Basic decor. Not bad but not warm and fuzzy. Food: seems like box pasta but maybe I'm wrong? Came to eat here with a larger group (6 of us) after driving out to go apple picking earlier in the day. We chose this restaurant because of the high reviews and wanted to avoid the crowds over up by the vineyards. Food: Personally, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our plates (pictured below), but a few others were not as much of a fan so I will definitely say it may not be for everyone! Only thing food wise that could improve were the garlic knots- all of ours was a little burnt and tough- not as soft and garlicky as I had hoped. Ambiance: Definitely a smaller restaurant with not a lot of seating, but our server kindly put two tables together for our party. Nothing fancy in terms of decor, and there was no ac I don't think- just a huge fan on the upper corner of the wall. Service: I thought the service was friendly overall. Our server was quick to attend us and the food came out fast too. Unfortunately, towards the end of our visit many of us went to the bathroom before our long hour and a half trip back home and we believe that frustrated the servers because they wanted to use one of our tables for a couple that recently came in and had to wait. I get it- we were trying to be as fast as possible and we definitely weren't just sitting around (which I think is what they thought and frustrated them maybe?), so when one of us was told on their way to the bathroom that they "don't mean to be rude" but they need the table- it was definitely upsetting. Many of us work or have worked in the service industry for a long time, and it's pretty common knowledge not to rush guests. I also know they had no idea of our long trip back home hence four of us going to the only bathroom they had. Overall, unfortunately don't think any of us will be back after this experience! Update: The family was seated at a table behind my boyfriend. No babies were crying, and they already had a table? The only people that did not have a table was a couple sitting in two chairs behind me. Rushing isn't accommodating- they closed out our check as we were going to the bathroom- we took around 5 minutes after they closed us out before we got up and left and the couple wasn't waiting for more than 10 minutes. read more

First time visiting after a local pediatrician appointment across the street. Husband searched for local eateries and the 4.7 rating was no argument! We arrived and were greeted right away. We tried this place out of a whim, as we were looking for authentic Italian food nearby and boy did they deliver!! We ordered three of their plates, the chicken piccata, chicken parmigiana and the shrimp tortellini Romano. So freaking good, large portions and each plate came with bread. The place is small, won't fit too many people - so I wouldn't come here with a large party. But I did notice they did have a lot of large pick up orders! The service was fast and amazing! Small restaurant with only 5 or so tables so get there early. I learned quickly why this place had 5 stars. Great service as you walk in and even better tasting food. We had the cacciatore with sausage and added chicken to it and the chicken piccata. Both very delicious and worth a try. Only thing missing in this place is Italian music in the background. I'm from San Francisco, where quality restaurants abound. Italia Bella rivals the best of them. One visit so far. If they maintain their quality they will easily become our go-to place in Yucaipa. You can taste the love in their food. Shrimp was absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared, served atop a bed of spaghetti pasta with garlic and olive oil. Spaghetti with meat sauce was to die for. I will take a little longer than chain restaurants, but worth the wait. Go hungry. You won't be dissapointed. read more

The place is pretty small. Very clean. Everyone was friendly. Servers were attentive. We went on a Friday night and it was very busy. The server warned us beforehand there would be a wait and we were fine with it. We ordered the antipasto salad, shrimp cacciatore, vegetable lasagna, and an alfredo pasta with meatballs. The salad was just ok, meat looked like the lunch meat you buy in the store. Salad was pretty big and includes one dressing. If you want more, we were told it's an extra charge, which we agreed to. Besides this, all of the other food was delicious. Additionally, toward the end of our meal the owner (I believe) checked in to apologize for the wait and make sure we enjoyed our food. The food was amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. I rarely eat Italian food, but this one surpassed my expectations.

I've heard many good things about this eatery and once I found out they had gluten free options I gave it a try. The server was very knowledgeable about their menu and was patient in answering all of my questions about the food preparation and safety practices. Gluten free pasta can be hit or miss and this pasta knocked it out the park. It was so flavorful. I had a work event and was looking for catering options. Remembering the great service and food I gave Italia Bella a call. I'm so glad I did. They were able to accommodate my request on short notice and made suggestions for a variety of dietary restrictions I was trying to accommodate. Which they were all grateful for. So many of my coworkers commented on the authentic robust flavors. Many asked where I had the food catered from and said they would be dining there soon. Thank you Mina for the amazing service! This is the best Italian restaurant we have ever experienced and we love Italian food, so we've been to lots of Italian places, including ones in Rome! This is family run, with multiple generations cooking and serving fresh, delicious meals. The portion sizes are very ample (enough to share or have a second meal later). The service was amazing, very personal. The setting is a small storefront with minimal seating. They do not have a liquor license, so if want to enjoy wine or a cocktail with your meal, order it to take home. This will definitely be a staple for our restaurant choices! read more
