It's a small getaway that will leave you happy because of the wine and the wonderful customer service. They have good hearty food as well. I have been here several times and every time the service is awesome. This is the home of Stella Rosa, and after taking the tour the first time, I found out how Stella Rosa started. You don't have to take a full tour as they do have counter tastings which will educate you about the selections they do have. Please know San Antonio is a legit winery with high quality selections. Not a place to miss out on.

We ordered the chicken of the day which was chicken with a mushroom sauce, penne pasta with a vodka sauce, sautéed veggies, and a side salad but no bread which was disappointing. The service lacked. They took us to the table, brought food, then water after. No one came to ask us how we are doing or offered a refill on my drink. Before I left I ordered a side of thr pasta that came with my dinner and a Blueberry Bread Pudding. How come when I ordered the side pasta it came with bread but our dinner didn't? You need to do a bit better please?

I got a glass of Cabernet. The bar is up front right when you walk in, great service and everyone working is really nice. Inside has plenty of seating in the garden, large tables and picnic tables around. You can also bring in your own food for your own picnic experience. They also offer small bites and a pizza spot off to the side. **On Fridays and Saturdays they offer silent disco (FCFS base).

Since I don't mind walking,I was able to find street parking. But avoid going further up Sherman way; by some cul de sac residential area; they have signs saying not to park on the street--on the street with a sign specifically telling you to respect the neighbors. Also poor internet service up here, so I'm not a fan. I arrived without a reservation and it was fine. They offer the outdoor patio and even noticed a private event taking place. They also have indoor seating with tables and sofas. I spent the majority of my afternoon inside as I was avoiding the heat. Just depends what type of wine you select; but Pricey here for a flight of red wine four types; $59 but my fault for going with all reds! They are top tier. Flight wine Saddlerock: Syrah, Cab, KOM, and Res Cab. Syrah was the on the dry side (as it is known to be) and not as sweet. Still really good. The KOB was a combination and it was delicious. That was my fav out of the batch. I also bought water for $5 but it's a big bottle of sparkling water; Not tap. My total here was $64 paid with my card and closed my tab. For the following rounds, I paid cash: I had two rounds of IPA beer: both were really good in my opinion. "Pliny the elder" by Russian river IPA and "food fight" by common space. Glass was $10-11each 16oz Lastly, I ordered a charcuterie cheese and crackers which was $28 the board itself was very cute and decorated nicely. Overall, this place can be pricey but I was there to hang out, explore their menu and drink so it worked out for me in the end.

I had reached out via email to inquire about their late policy due to our work schedules (I wanted to try to schedule the Valentine's Day booking but felt like it would be too late). Magdalena, one of the owners, had got back to me and responded that they were flexible and recommended the booking for the day after if it would better accommodate our schedules and that the Valentine's Day snack would be available to purchase, which was very reassuring for me. Upon our arrival, not only did they remember me from our one email communication, they had already set aside the Valentine's Day snacks for us. Very thoughtful! The wine selections were either for red or white for blending and cause my fiancée and I wanted to try the best of both worlds (we both had selected white initially), they were able to accommodate the change with no hesitation. Our instructor, Dave, was amazing and the guided class was full of fun information and neat anecdotes. The guided class was very helpful in identifying things to look for in wine which can contribute to certain attributes, like taste, sweetness and such. Very light-hearted and, again, an amazing experience. Highly recommend for a date night or those who just want to learn more about wine. Oh and they also let you cork your own bottle!

We were treated so nicely and it was great to taste their wines and learn about their business. The location is very accessible and it was a great setup to enjoy wine with friends. I loved the passion Chris has when he speaks about the wines. I can't wait to go back and try more when I am in the area.
